Hey everyone! The staff has an exciting announcement for you guys today:

Some of you may remember that I ran the site's weekly AMV contest, the Top 5, for some time. Unfortunately, I had to stop running it last year due to personal conflicts. However, I'm thrilled to announce that we're all set to re-launch it again -- and this time, a little bit differently!

What's different, you ask? Simple: this time, we've got a panel of judges instead of just one! Several of our staff have volunteered to help judge the Top 5 this time around, and we will be switching off or teaming up every week to provide you with the results. As for which staff are on the team, it's a surprise -- you'll find out in due time, so stay tuned!

The first week of judging starts today (October 21st), so be sure to get your videos submitted through our Portal. It's worth noting however that there has been a change in how submissions are handled: In order to submit your video for judging, you MUST tag it with the keyword "top 5" (without quotes). Failure to do so means your video will be overlooked! The first set of results will be posted on Sunday, October 28th.

Other criteria for eligibility:

To be eligible for judging, your video:
- As stated, must be tagged with the top 5 keyword.
- Must be submitted to our Video Portal
- Must not have been submitted before, unless noted in advance that this is allowed (such as after a hiatus). Please do not submit the same video every week! [While we are indeed coming back from a hiatus, please do not resubmit old videos].
- Must be related to Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy, Disney, and/or The World Ends with You
- Must be a complete video (no unfinished works will be judged)
- Must be your video. I understand the nature of our Portal allows for you to submit others' videos, but only your own will be eligible for judging.
- Must be longer than 30 seconds in length
- Can be part of/a complete MEP, worm, or collaboration as long as you are finished working on it
- May use music, audio from trailers, audio from comedy sketches, etc.

For more information, see this post or feel free to ask.

We look forward to seeing your videos!

Community Mixtapes and Radios, oh my.

Hey kids! After much deliberation (more like procrastination of homework), I went and revamped Mixtape Mania a bit. A lot has changed and I thought I'd post it here as well, since it never was before haha.

> WHAT IS MIXTAPE MANIA?

It's an event where you would make playlists of recommended songs/artists for another person who you were paired up with. The first thread was here. It was a lot like Secret Santa in some respects, but more musically oriented. However, it isn't so much like Secret Santa anymore.

> WHAT DID YOU CHANGE?

Quite a few things. You can read the rules thread up HERE.

> HOW DO I JOIN?

You don't have to! You just have to post songs you'd like to recommend in the main thread, which again, is found here: http://kh-vids.net/threads/mixtape-mania-re-mix-intro-guidelines.134046/

> HOW LONG WILL THIS RUN?

I'm going to run this one for one week before I put up a new thread. Then the next week is when the radio event starts, just to make sure I have time for homework and studying for finals.

> HOW LONG WILL THIS RUN?

Not too much! You only just need to provide me with the songs you want (via YouTube links). I'll be able to get the MP3s and put them all together in a snazzy big MP3 and let the radio take it from there.

> QUESTIONS AND CONCERNS?

General questions can be asked here. More specific ones can go in the main rules thread, or you can send me a message over KHV.

Thanks and hope y'all enjoy.

Site News Synthesis Materials are here!
[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

Hey guys. I have something interesting for you today! Some of you may have gotten some alerts. Don't be afraid! there's a reason for that.

the Trophy system has become Synthesis Materials. See the whole list HERE!

Okay so what are these Materials for?

Well, we'll give out more details soon. But they are very closely related to our Pin System, which is getting major upgrades and additions as we speak.

Now, before you ask. Pins will still not be given out. You'll have to wait just a bit more for the Pin system to be fully in effect. But the pins are being put up slowly, but surely.

For those who don't know, Pins are our collectible system where people get different medals for achieving things. The system is gonna be expanded further soon.

As for materials, the list is not full yet. More materials will come as time goes by. There's a total of 44 materials planned. So wait for that!
Dubbed "Volume 4" in the releases of these cutely themed phone straps, theses releases consist of Final Fantasy XIII Characters! Available in very limited stock, the site offers Lightning, Snow, Serah, Vanille, and Sazh at the varying price of 890 or 896 Yen each. Though none of them are kingdom hearts characters, they are still included under the release name along with the Kingdom Hearts Heart emblem tag on each strap.
