Hello KH-Vids. The official website portal for Japan has been update from the Kingdom Hearts series.

As usual - you can visit all the official websites from the series, but there have been additional elements added. By accessing each title, you can also read about the "story", view images/screenshots and renders of characters/worlds.

The interesting part about this portal update is that Square-Enix has also added an "about" and "chronology" page(s). Bother very interesting to look at, especially chronology. Make sure you take a look at the portal today. I dream that one day the North American portal can take notes. http://www.square-enix.co.jp/kingdom/index.html

Edit: Thanks to goldpanner and Sqexgal, we have the translated chronology image here!

Hello KH-Vids. The official website for Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance has been updated. The featured sections that have been added with new content includes characters, worlds and system.

In the "worlds" page, more content from Traverse Town has been added, such as screenshots and renders. Additionally "system" has a video on "Reality Shift". Finally the characters page has been updated with the Dream Eaters (Pierrot Clown and Handsome Pegasus). All these updates are viewable at the official website. http://www.square-enix.co.jp/kingdom/3d/

It is officially two more months until Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance releases in Japan. And so the countdown begins...

Thanks to Siliconera and KHinsider for the info!

So, it seems we've found what Nomura had planned for the ten year anniversary. A bundle containing Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Re:Coded and Dream Drop Distance. Said bundle is available for pre-order in the Square Enix e-store. With a whooping price of 15,000 円, which is approximately $195 USD

The box will contain the following:

Additionally, the special KH edition 3DS is priced at 21,090 円, which is around $280 USD. Dream Eaters, you say? More like wallet eaters!

What do you think? Do you think we'll be seeing more things for the ten year anniversary? Or do you think this was the big unveil? Wanted to see more, or feel it wasn't up to par?

Discuss away!

In a recent article by Siliconera that contains about as many pictures as words, we see a bit of information on the Reality Shift system of fighting using the lower screen (such as the wonder comic or spirit rope) and quite a bit more on describing fighting alongside the friendly Dream Eaters known as Spirits and their limit styled "link attacks."

Thank you Chevalier for this tip.
Good evening KH-Vidians. Mixt here acting as stand-in reporter to bring you some more audio related news courtesy of axel91.

The Original Soundtrack for Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance is slated for release in Japan on April 18th. A bit shy of a month after the game's release on March 29th. It is priced at ¥3,800 ($48.85) and is 3 disks long.

Although I'm having trouble verifying, folks over at kh13.com and khinsider.com state that it will feature both recurring Kingdom Hearts composer Yoko Shimomura as well as The World Ends With You composer Takeharu Ishimoto. So it seems that they will be pulling no punches on music for this title.

UPDATE: I've now verified Takeharu Ishimoto involvement with this interview from Famitsu.
