Disney CFO Jay Rasulo hinted Disney Interactive's big return during last week's question and answer session at Goldman Sachs' Communacopia Conference. Interactive has been the only segment of the company to report a year-over-year decline in revenue. So what does this have to do with Kingdom Hearts you ask? Quoted from the Q&A, Rasula stated;

This sparks a bit of hope for the localisation of the 1.5 Remix for Kingdom Hearts. Many films titles leading to the end of 2013 don't seem to be promising games as many of Disney's film line up is comprised of Pixar and Marvel films. Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 will hopefully be in the process of showing up outside Japan in Mid-2013. It's a possibility considering the Japanese release debuts in March of the same year.

Hello KH-Vids. As shocking as it is, Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix has been confirmed with a release that's scheduled for release around 2013, hopefully early 2013. As you've already heard, the HD Remix will include Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, Chain of Memories and Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days cutscenes will be remade in HD to appear in some form of Teather Mode.

There are some other interesting tidbits I would like to point out.

- aibo_ac7 has revealed that some text scenes from 358/2 Days will be made into HD cutscenes.
- 4Game.net has revealed that although there were English voice overs used in Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix will contain Japanese voice over - including EXRTA scenes.

These videos are by no means long or some large revelation, but we've got our first footage from the Tokyo Game Show of Kingdom Hearts HD! We're still waiting on a promotional video that should be popping up soon, but in the meantime...

This is a great week to be a Kingdom Hearts fan, it seems--on Monday, Kingdom Hearts celebrated its 10-year-anniversary, yesterday Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix was announced (along with a browser game), and now we've got some new Dream Drop Distance play arts! Not long ago we saw Sora and Riku in their TRON outfits, but now we've got them in their regular Dream Drop Distance digs, along with the finished TRON models. Also pictured are a number of Dream Drop Distance Keyblades, and what looks like five new Formation Arts! You can check out the pictures below (click for larger size).
