The darkened room. This seeming cave of wonders covered in dark. It wasn't a cave but with everything destroyed inside and how dark everything so appeared, it might as well have been. Within the darkened room were ten young ones. Well, relatively young. At the very least everyone was under the age of 25 and from the looks of them they seemed as though all of them had their own hardships.

Well, at the very least they were suffering their current one. On the ground, knocked out. There was a destroyed machine in the middle of the room. It looked like it was a large cannon like structure at some point, but now it was broken beyond repair. Metal fragments were scattered and those in the cave were lucky that no one had been injured by the pieces of the metal.

The machine was cold to the touch at this point. As was the cave. Which is probably what began to stir everyone awake. In the air, little swirls of purple and black floated gently in the air. And as people woke up, there was a noise echoing from the distance outside of the cave but more importantly.

There were other people there, that you couldn't remember. In fact, you couldn't remember why you were there. So it was probably best that you get that sorted out first.

Chloe stirred. Sluggishly she registered the cold floor she lay on, and a moment later remembered she had no recollection of setting down to sleep on such a surface...did she?

She sat up, the sleep dissipating from her mind, and looked around. How did I get here? Her memories flitted through her mind in fragments, too small and isolated to draw coherence from. None of her memories featured her surroundings, either--from what little she could make out in the darkness, anyway. She stood and held out her hand, and in a flash, Glimpse of Darkness was in her hand. It wasn't much, but the Keyblade emitted a soft, warm glow, which helped her see just a little bit more. Warily she stepped forward--then stopped mid-step, her foot over an arm.

She crouched down, her Keyblade following the arm until it met a body (Thank goodness). Its dim light caught and reflected on something--a pin with the numeral VII. She reached for the man's shoulder with her free hand and shook it. "Hey, wake up," she said, quiet but firm. "Are you all right?"

His heart was pounding. This was not normal. Cerdic never got scared, he wasn't afraid of anything, not even rejection. Why was his heart feeling like it was going to hammer a hole through his ribs? A foreign feeling wrapped itself around his heart. Was this fear? Was he actually afraid of something? He had not even opened his eyes yet, but his body told him to be afraid. Afraid of what though? Why was he so scared? What was going on? Now that he thought about it he really didn't remember much at all. There was a blank space in his mind, something missing that he couldn't put his finger on. What about his home? He remembered, something happened to his home, a darkness of some sort. Was that what he was afraid of?

Slowly his eyes fluttered open, and first the first time since he had awoke he realized he was laying on cold, hard floor. Forcing himself into a sitting position Cerdic put a hand to his head trying to stop the pounding in his frontal lobe. It wasn't as bad as the hammering in his heart. This one more felt like a bad hangover. Had he been drinking? Was that why he was passed out on the floor like this? As his eyes came to focus, he noticed that there were others scattered in the darkness of the room. All of them just waking up like himself. Scattered pieces of metal were everywhere... So not hung over probably. This was no such party that he would ever go to. Besides if it was a party he wouldn't be feeling like this... this scared...

Running his gaze around the room, his eyes landed on a female who was shaking another man. He supposed she wasn't that bad looking. When she eventually fell in love with him, like all women did, he thought he could humour her and entertain her for a little while. Cerdic did not act on this though however as another wave a fear washed over him distracting him for the moment. A noise echoed through the room and Cerdic staggered to his feet, instinctively summoning his keyblade to hand. He looked ahead wondering what was out there. Moving among the people he ignored them for the most part, instead moving towards the sound. He had not gotten far when a thought rushed through his mind... well more of an image. It was a bird. It's yellow eyes pierced through his memory the most. It was enough to make him hesitate and turn to those who were starting to wake up.
"What is going on? I want answers now!" He demanded hoping those here would know more than him. All he knew was there was something missing in his mind, something to do with a bird, and he wanted to know what it was.

Chloe's head jerked up at the disembodied sound, and her grip on her Keyblade tightened. But the sound died down, and nothing happened, so she returned to trying to rouse the man--VII--from unconsciousness.

"What is going on? I want answers now!"

This time Chloe was on her feet in a flash, drawn to her full height, her Keyblade pointed straight in the direction the voice had come from. In the dim light, the source of the words appeared to be another man. She looked him up and down as best she could; he was dressed rather extravagantly in white, matching his pale skin and contrasting his thick dark hair. In his hand, a Keyblade. Pinned to his jacket, another numeral--X. She really didn't want to look at her own jacket.

    III.

The alarms in her head were blaring now. Was I lured into a trap? "Get in line," she told the man. "Who are you?" Despite her words, her tone and her still-raised Keyblade did not imply a question.

It was an odd feeling that had currently embraced him, a cold and silent slumber to be exact. He wasn't sure just how long he'd been like this, but from what he could feel the surface that he was currently on wasn't the most comfortable of things to be on. This realization, along with the voices of other people had gradually stirred him awake. His eyes fluttered open and took a moment to adjust to their new surroundings. Once they did, the cold feeling that he was experiencing prior made a little more sense to him.

He was on the surface of the cave while next to a seemingly broken machine. A closer touch and looked revealed that it was just as cold as the cave floor. Questions started to pile into his head as he moved away from the machine.
What's this machine doing here? Why am I here? And who's doing all that yelling? That last question he could answer himself to an extent by looking past the machine he was next too and in the direction the noises were coming from. He spotted two people, one male and one female, standing up and speaking with each other.

Out of the two Chrono noticed two different things that stuck out. The first was the odd weapon that the girl was holding and the next being the pin on the man in white. It bore the numeral X. This was when he noticed that he wore a pin of his own with the numeral IV. Perhaps they were connect in some way. Before that he needed to actually speak up in the current situation at hand.
"I have some questions as well." His hand that was raise barely visible from the other side and Chrono noticed this soon. Thus as a result he got up from the cold cave ground, stood up and stepped away from the machine. "What's up with that pin of yours?" His finger pointed towards the male's own pin before he motioned towards the one he wore.

The first thing Relli could remember was darkness. Well, not exactly true; they could remember their home, and where they'd been before this. So, no, not the first thing. But definitely the current thing.

Opening their eyes didn't provide much clarity. They seemed to be in some kind of cave, and it was only dimly lit, making it hard to distinguish anything with their eyes. Their ears, though, definitely picked up on the sounds of arguing.

Pulling their senses back to them, Relli really woke for the first time in what felt like forever. The cave floor was cold under their cheek, making them shiver, and the cave echoed with the sounds of people awakening from their own slumbers. Slowly, Relli pulled himself up to a sitting position, and looked around at the cave. The two people arguing stood in the center, the only lights coming from their blades, a man and a woman. Around them, others were scattered around the floor, some stirring, others still asleep. Relli slowly counted them, one by one, and if they counted themself, that made... ten people? Ten whole people!

Relli was the furthest away from everyone else, tucked into a back corner of the cave, and a perfect vantage point to see all around. They shoved their overgrown hair behind their ear and watched as, one by one, more and more people awoke. They wondered if they should join them, make themself less of an outcast from the get-go. Might be better to keep watching, and see what they could see.

Empty. The world around him seemed so irrevocably empty. He was rather unsure if he liked that or not. On one hand, if the world was completely empty, than that meant there couldn't be anything wrong with it: it meant there were no flaws or mistakes, and that there was a lack of people to create them. Though, he supposed he was still there, so this place was far from perfect. On the the other hand, he would love nothing more than to curl up by the fire with a good book (It seemed like it had been such a long while since he had last made the time to read a good book) and a nice warm drink, flipping through the pages silently as the eternal rain beat against the window serenely.

Well... now that he thought about it, it didn't seem like such a contest. After all; if there were no books here it would get frightfully dull before long. So he began to silently wish for the world to be filled once more.

When he had wished for this, he had not expected his wish to be granted quite so quickly... or that he would come to regret it so fast. The supposedly 'Irrevocable' emptiness gave way to voices. Loud ones, that reverberated off the walls and into his ears, making his groggy coming to a rather rude awakening. Didn't anyone around here know how to be quiet?

    ...Where was he?

With renewed vigor, Chrys quickly opened his eyes and pushed himself off the ground. It seemed he was in a cave of some kind, and the loud voices were coming from two out of nine other people who occupied the room, who were confronting each other with... keyblades? There were pieces of metal scattered about, and a broken machine stood at the center of it all. Was there some kind explosion? Is that why he didn't remember anything? He wasn't otherwise damaged was he? After checking himself over for injuries and thankfully finding none, he tuned back in to what was going on. Someone else who had woken up before him seemed to have said something, but he hadn't been paying attention and he missed it. However, the boy motioned to a pin that another was wearing, as well as his own. Glancing around the room, he noticed that all of them seemed to have one... even him.

    II

What did that mean? They were all numbered... were they some kind of group? Taking a moment to examine the faces in the cave, Chrys found that none of them seemed familiar. That made him nervous, for all kinds of reasons.

First, there was the simple fact that he just really didn't like meeting new people. It was probably what made him most nervous actually, which was strange, because the other reasons were far more practical, and probably should have impacted him considerably more. They were all in a cave. Most of them were knocked out, and he didn't know about the others, but he couldn't remember much about how they got there. At the very least, two of the others were in the same boat: the two screaming at each other for answers, but that was all he could say for sure. Finally... Keyblades. He had never met anyone else with a keyblade. Ever. He supposed it was inevitable that he would run into another wielder at some point... but in this situation it was pretty nerve-wracking. Should he stop them? It seemed at this point they weren't really fighting yet; they were just confused like he was. Staying silent, Chrystopher Light looked on silently to see what would unfold.

    "---- -- going on? I want answe-- ----"

"Get in li--- --- are you?"

    "I have qu------- -s well. What's up with that p-- -- ------"

Voices faded in and out as Xen slowly came to. The cold ground beneath him helped speed the process of waking. He hated the cold, and hated sleeping on it even more. He rose up slightly, resting on his forearms. Looking around, he could hardly make anything out. Everything was one massive blur, consisting mostly of black and faint purple tones. The only other things he (barely) saw were moving blobs he assumed were people. Some on the ground, some standing up. One of the blobs in the center of the room caught his eye, but he couldn't tell if it was some object or another unconscious person. He tried once, twice, even three times to rub his eyes and clear his vision, assuming his lack of seeing ability was just from recently awakening. But nothing worked. His vision was as horrible as ever and it looked like there was no fixing it.

Raising himself to his knees, Xen felt around his torso for a pocket that he would have kept his glasses in. He found no glasses, but felt an out-of-place object pinned to him. Pulling on his shirt to aim the object at his vision, he could certainly tell there was something there, a pin of some sort. Squinting his eyes, he was able to just barely make out what the pin had on it. The numeral V.
Strange, he thought to himself. I don't remember putting something like this on...or...much of anything, for that matter.

Sifting through what memories he had, Xen was relieved to know that he remembered his homeworld just fine. The thought of home helped calm him. He remembered leaving his home, unable to return, but he couldn't remember why he left or how he ended up here with what he could only assume were other people. One other thing he managed to remember, however, was helping escort some people away from danger. Who the people were, what the danger was and where they went for safety was all a blank, but at the very least he knew without a shadow of a doubt that they'd managed to get to safety in the end. That, too, was a comforting thought. But that was about it in terms of memories.

Xen tried feeling around the ground for his glasses, his final hope in getting some visual clarity. He could feel the ground-of course- as well as what seemed to be metal shards flung about from an explosion or burst of some kind. Unfortunately, his glasses were MIA at the moment, leaving him nearly blind. Summoning his Keyblade, Dual Disc, he pressed the top end into the ground and used it to help him rise to his feet. He elected to keep the Keyblade out. Just in case. He cautiously walked forward, using his Keyblade to feel around in front of him for obstructions in his path.

"E-Excuse the interruption, but...What is going on? My vision is blurry to a worrying degree, a pin-like object has been applied to my person without my consent and I am quite frankly terrified. If anybody in this general vicinity are murderers and/or monsters looking for blood I plead with you not to target me as I...erm...Well I have no case other than I would rather not be dead."

Despite himself, despite everything that was going through his head, or the pounding in his heart. Even the worry in the back of his mind didn't deter Cerdic from striding towards the girl with a keyblade drawn and pointed at him. There was so much wrong with this situation, but he wouldn't let it get to him. He couldn't let it get to him, not if he wanted a chance with her ever. "Woah there little lady. That is not a toy to be thrown around. I know that you are trying hard to impress me, being all brave and fierce warrior little bit you have going there, but if you want to impress me, cuddling up with me close to a fire works too." his fingers raked his hair back as he stopped in front of Chleo.

    "
I, my dear, am Cerdic Zoric." Making an extravagant bow, Cerdic gave Chloe a charming smile. "You are free to bask in my glory now. As long as you put that thing away." He motioned to her keyblade. It was starting to make him nervous. What if she actually meant him harm? These people were in the same situation as him, so he assumed their innocence, but what if they weren't. What if this was a trap? A rush of fear hit him once more, though he kept it from his expression, simply taking a step back.

Another boy soon approached with his own question about a pin. Cerdic glanced at his jacket, and for the first time saw what they were referring too. Ten. It was fitting considering that he was a perfect then after all, in all aspects. The questions about the pins had snapped him out of her flirtatious attitude and back to the reality of the situation.
"Look I don't know what is going on, but I am not too keen on sticking around to find out." He was trying to not make it too obvious that he was in a rush to get out of this place to find somewhere familiar and safe... if there was such a place. The only place familiar to him would be his world, and something in his memory told him that his world might not be a place he could be at this time.

A voice belonging to a girl had woken him. By the time he stirred and sat up her attention had gone elsewhere. Pain seared through his head leaving him little to do to hold it back but to just press his hand to his forehead to wait until the feeling had ceased. His muscles were sore and his memory fragmented considering he had no idea how he had arrived at this dark place surrounded by strangers. Could it have been an attack? Perhaps. If it was, surely none of those around him were responsible since they seemed to be as confused, or more so, than he was. Alder summoned his keyblade and used the weapon to prop himself up, his muscles fighting against every movement he made.

Why am I in pain? No. He knew the answer. One of the last memories he had was the fight he had caused when attempting to bring in two fellow guards that had insulted the Prince. It was a fight he was losing. I suppose that's what I get for going after two more experienced warriors... But this was no dungeon. If he had simply lost that was surely where he would be. Alder watched as several others in the room illuminated the area with keys of their own causing metallic fragments on the ground to reflect the light like tiny shining stars. In the room was a machine seemingly broken beyond repair. Alder's eyes narrowed on the device sensing some kind of darkness from the wrecked machine. "Good." He muttered to himself.

The young man looked down finding that the armor he had, for the most part, been torn away leaving just his arm piece. He sighed and shook his head a little more than upset that all his savings had been thrown away for what now amounted to little more than a fashion accessory. He raised an eyebrow, catching the glint of something unusual he had known not to have put on himself. A small badge with a numeral engraved on it.

    VII

He raised his head and looked around. The others in the room also had the same kind of pins on them though each with a different number.
"If this is a joke...I'm not laughing." Seeing as there was no fight to be had he dismissed his keyblade and headed silently towards the machine in the center of the cave right in the direction of the canon-like device. True to first appearances, it really was inactive but Alder had to be sure. Such a dangerous-looking device surely could not be left behind to be used again. Alder glanced back at the others, unsure of how much they could be trusted. For all he knew, any one of them could be responsible for bringing them here and for whatever fate had befallen on his world.

"Whatever this was, it's not working again anytime soon." He spoke up just loud enough for the strangers to hear.

Chloe's expression melted from hard and fierce to exasperated and disgusted as the other man--Cerdic--kept talking. Instead of dismissing her Keyblade, she pointed it towards the ceiling and ignited a small Fire at its tip as a makeshift torch. In the increased light, she could see now that there were considerably more people in this cold room than she'd expected. She did a quick headcount--ten, including herself. Four were still unconscious, including the man she'd been trying to wake up when Cerdic had interrupted her. In the middle of the room was a strange machine. She didn't know a lot about mechanics, but anyone could see that whatever it was, it was ruined now.

Two other boys had spoken up--one with white hair, one with brown--voicing their own curiosity. Both of them made reference to their own pins--IV and V. "Looks like all of us have these number pins, then," she noted, pointing to her own III. "Doesn't seem like any of us know how they--or we--got here, though."

"Look, I don't know what's going on," Cerdic said, "but I am not too keen on sticking around to find out." She hated it, but Chloe had to agree with the sentiment. Holding her Keyblade aloft, she looked around the room, searching for signs of an exit. She could see darkness swirling through the air, sending a chill up her spine, but it seemed to all be drifting in one direction.

"See that?" she said, her finger following the purples and blacks. "That could be something. But let's make sure everyone's awake and okay first."

She turned around, meaning to crouch back down to arouse number VII, but he had already gotten up and started inspecting the wrecked machine.
"Whatever this was, it's not working again anytime soon," he said.

"That's good enough for me," Chloe shrugged. Whatever the machine had been, she felt distinctly uncomfortable around it. She headed to the nearest prone body and crouched down. This one was number I. She gently shook the blonde girl's shoulder. "Wake up," she said. "Are you okay?"

Relli had been perfectly content to watch the commotion from the corner, really, but a familiar voice sparked their interest. That man... the one in the armor. They knew him. Where did they know him from, again?

The arguing had stopped, now, and a more quiet conversation had begun to spring up, instead. If 'quiet' could indeed be used, with every word spoken reverberating on the walls and echoing to every part of the cave. Still, Relli relished in the words; it had been so long since he'd heard a voice other than their own. They couldn't remember when. Months? Years? It couldn't have been terribly long, if they still remembered them, right? They couldn't remember.

Relli's attention turned back to the familiar man. The man wandered over to the large broken contraption in the center of the room, examining it. As he watched, Relli stood slowly and moved closer to the main group. They could feel others' eyes on them, but they paid them no mind. They remembered the man, they were sure, it was on the tip of their tongue...

"Whatever this was, it's not working anytime soon," said the man quietly, and it rushed back to Relli's head so quickly that they started talking before their brain could process it.

    "Alder!"

Unfortunately no one else really had an answer to his question regarding the pins that they all seemingly wore, in fact they were all just as confused as he was from what he could tell. His attention was briefly directed towards the broken machine that he had woken up next too. Another thing on the long list of question that he had right now, but given the current condition that it was it, there was no real urgency to know just what exactly it was. The sudden change in lighting had caught him off guard however seeing the reason behind it has caused Chrono eyes widen in surprise. The tip of the odd weapon that the girl was holding had light up and provide some more light to the cave they all were in. That had moved the odd weapon to the top of the list of things that he had questions about, especially with it appearing two of the people who were currently up had it. If it could make a fire to light up a cave, who knows what else that it could do? "That weapon you're holding, just what exactly is it?"

Chloe looked up from number I to number IV in surprise. She'd seen that Cerdic and number V had Keyblades of their own, so she'd assumed--foolishly, she now felt--that the rest of the room's occupants had had them, too. She faltered, trying to decide how much was safe to tell him--world order and all that--and how much she could actually articulate about it.

"...It's called a Keyblade," she said haltingly. "It's..." Oh, he'd probably seen her summon it and had definitely seen her cast that Fire; what was the harm in just saying it? "...It's a magical weapon that can be used to fight creatures of darkness." She figured the simple explanation would likely suffice.

With that out of the way, she looked to the other kid who had spoken up--noting the VIII pinned to their shirt--then to number VII--Alder, apparently? "You two know each other?" she asked.

Why was it dark? Because their eyes were closed. Why were their eyes closed? That was a tough question. This was definitely not a long drawn out blink. No. They could tell they were lying down. Which meant that they had likely been sleeping. Why were they sleeping? Were they tired? That seemed like a pretty sound conclusion. So why was their bed so hard and cold? Maybe they really needed to get a new mattress. Moving their hands around on the surface, they could tell that this was hard surface was much larger than any mattress. Some might even cal it a floor. So they decided that's what they'd call it. While Marley had lied there on the, now named, ground they could here others speaking. Oh, there were others around them. That was good to know. They all seemed to be talking about different things, but one in particular said something that struck a chord with them. Something wasn't going to be working any time soon. Well what could that be.

Still lying down on the ground, Marley's eyes opened up to see a not too much brighter room all around them. It also had the curious feature of being completely upside down, but rolling over, off of their back fixed this issue. Looking to where they had heard the voice come from, Marley saw people standing over what appeared to be ruined machinery. A cannon of some sorts. Wait. Machinery? Of course! "Yeah there's no way it could be operational after it went bajooom an all," Marley flatly stated before thinking more on what they knew about it. After thinking about the "bajoom" a bit more they simply nodding, saying, "yeah." Still lying flat on their stomach, Marley was curious about something. "Hey, this air is pretty neat isn't it?"

Daeni could hear others talking, but she kept thinking she was dreaming, since she could barely make out any of their voices. In fact, the only one she made out clearly was a name being called out by one of them. Then, she heard somebody slowly moving and asking about a pin and that their vision was blurry. Daeni felt scared already at the mention of monsters and murderers, so she sat up pensively. She hoped that maybe if she had stayed still, she might have been safer, but it was too late. She already moved and she was sitting up. So what else could she do?

When she moved her hand, she felt an object and looked down to see a pair of glasses beside her. That person who was mumbling about their eyes was nearby and walking way too slowly towards the middle of the room as far as Daeni could tell in this darkness. She then looked around and saw a familiar looking figure further away from the others. She almost felt like running to them for some kind of comfort in the midst of this, but she had something way more important to worry about. She had to get these glasses to the blind folk.

Standing up, Daeni held the glasses carefully and walked over to Xen, She flipped the glasses the proper way and placed them on Xen's face as best as she could. "I...I found these when I got up...um...I hope they're yours?" she said, lowering her hands and backing up. She was kind of scared of that weapon. That keyblade. Keyblade? Daeni knew that word and thought about it until even her own keyblade appeared, shining brightly before it rested in her hand. "O...oh...I have one too." she said, a little too surprised.

Once she had looked down, Daeni finally noticed the pin on her chest. It had the numeral 'VI' on it and for some reason, it made Daeni poke at it curiously. She wasn't sure where it came from because she couldn't remember putting it on. In fact, she couldn't really remember the specifics of a lot of things. She did remember her home and leaving. She remembered a big adventure with some great friends, but that's about it. Oh and some other stuff that was still really fuzzy at the moment. Luckily, she at least remembered her name.

'Wake up, are you okay?' was all Kara heard upon regaining consciousness. "Mmmmm....five more minutes..." she murmured sleepily, rolling over onto her side and trying to relax. She tried to relax, but people were just talking and wouldn't stop. What made it worse was she didn't even know who the people were. Hang on, it wasn't just the people, she couldn't remember anything about where she even was. Opening her eyes and sitting up, she looked around at the surroundings, but none of it was familiar whatsoever. Was she still in the Village of Serenity, or was she somewhere else entirely? She couldn't be anywhere else, she'd never even left her world...had she?

Slowly, she came to realize exactly what was going on, or at least as best she could make of it. She had a pin on her with the number I on it which she didn't remember getting, so that probably had some sort of importance. For some reason, the word 'leader' sprang to mind, which probably meant she had someone else's pin. Leaderly wasn't exactly one of the words that she'd use to describe herself. Then again, maybe it simply meant the first, but the first of what? This was really, really confusing. On top of that, some people had their key...blades? She was pretty sure that's what they were called, she remembered that guy mentioning it when one had appeared in her hand. Man that had been an unusual day. Getting up onto her feet, she dusted herself off quickly. She wasn't sure what she'd entered into exactly, but something seemed to be going on, and she wasn't about to dive headfirst into a situation she knew nothing about.

Glasses seemed to suddenly place themselves upon Xen's face, as if some divine being had blessed him with improved vision...or maybe someone in the room put them there and he just couldn't see them. The second one seemed more likely and was in fact proven when Daeni, the kind soul that found the glasses, spoke up. Xen used his free hand to feel the various of his glasses. "Rectangular...Slim...Nose pads fitted to my precise nasal structure...It would seem they are mine. Thank you, kind stranger." Xen said with a smile.

Unfortunately, upon looking at the others in the room, it would seem that Xen's vision- while improved- was still less than ideal. He could at least see that the others in the room were humanoid in shape, but looking at them was like looking through a window with an endless stream of water running down it. He could also see that they had weapons similar to his own, Keyblades to be precise, one of which had just been summoned by Daeni.
"So it seems quite a few of us can summon these "Keyblades". Perhaps that is for the best, given our current predicament." Xen thought aloud before noticing Daeni poking at a pin attached to her clothing, much like the one Xen had. "Curious. You have one of these pins too. Number...VI." Xen began, trying to process why these pins even exist and what the numbers on them could possibly mean. Unfortunately he merely gave himself a headache in the end. "The longer I've been awake, the less I've come to understand..." He grumbled, shaking his head.

Daeni listened to Xen and took a gander around the room after he spoke. It's true, she had no idea where they were and she didn't think anybody else would know where they were. But the more and more Daeni was standing there, the more she got anxious and was darting her eyes between everyone. She eventually looked back to where Marley was and felt a little more calm. For whatever reason that was, it sort of scared Daeni thinking that person was a safe haven for her. Deep down, her heart wanted her to run over and hide behind them, but her brain told her not to. That'd be weird and she didn't wanna weird them out. At least not yet, hopefully.

Her feet moved slowly towards the others in the room and she glanced around at them. Her eyes locked with Kara's a moment and that same calmness washed over her once again. She really felt weird now, not remembering all of them except that they all had done something, but she wasn't sure what. She wasn't even sure they did anything major. Maybe they just partied way too hard and are all passed out from irresponsible drinking? Daeni shrugged to herself and closed her eyes.

Scared. A feeling of being scared washed over her body and Daeni hugged herself in that moment. That noise echoed throughout the the cave once again. Her eyes shot open and Daeni looked up at the ceiling. She couldn't see anything except purple wisps that floated around and seemed to just disappear randomly. "Where area we?" she thought out loud.

Thankfully, X and III were sensible enough to avoid starting a fight, and no intervention was necessary on his part.Over time, the entire rest of the group had woken up, and quite a few of them were sporting keyblades. Considering none of them could actually remember anything recent, it was actually likely that they all had one, even if they didn't all realize it. Several of them had pointed out the wisps of purple energy that were floating about the top of the cavern. Darkness perhaps? That could be bad for them, but what could they do? All of them were completely clueless as to how they got there and what their goals were.

Or at least, that was how it seemed so far. Out of all of them, only he, VIII, and I had yet to voice their lack of knowledge, but he already knew where he stood. VIII seemed to know VII, but the way they were hiding in the corner either meant that they didn't know the rest of them, or that they knew exactly who most of them were and was afraid. Neither of those possibilities were particularly promising. Though, if she were afraid of all of them in such a way, why risk drawing their attention by calling out to VII? No, they were probably just as clueless as the rest of them.

    That left I.

She was definitely awake, but only barely. As the last to enter into their current situation, I had only just pulled herself to her feet. He had to admit that he was curious about her: She was labeled as the first, and if they were indeed some kind of group, than that marked her as the one who was most likely the leader. As 'II' he couldn't help but wonder if that made him her direct subordinate. Had this been someone whom he had depended on? A trusted and respected superior? Perhaps even a friend? While he couldn't recognize any of the present faces from his scraps of memory, that didn't really mean he didn't know them... and he honestly wasn't sure what he felt about being part of any group.

Then again, if this was all just some experiment, than that just made I the first of ten victims, and that the rest of them were nothing more than strangers. Strangers that had either been taken or had volunteered, but he really didn't think the latter made them any less like victims at this point.

His attention was pulled from his thoughts by VI. Having just given V (who was currently despairing their puzzling situation) his glasses, she had proceeded to ask where they were.

"Unfortunately, it seems like none of us can answer that question for you VI." He finally spoke up with a shrug. "Unless I over here just so happened to magically retain some form of vital information that has managed to escape the rest of us." He turned to the said number with a small, polite smile that was somehow both hopeful and resigned. "You wouldn't just so happened to have magically been able to retain some form of vital information that has managed to escape the rest of us, have you Miss?"
