This week, Kingdom Hearts 2.8 was featured in Weekly Shonen Jump and focused on its new combat abilities of Aqua, the character we'll be playing during the 0.2 portion of the game. According to the Japanese Playstation website, to celebrate Kingdom Hearts's 15 year anniversary, a limited edition Kingdom Hearts PlayStation 4 will be released on January 12th, 2017, the same day as 2.8's Japanese release. This PS4 will cost 33,980 yen + tax for 500GB PS4 and 38,980 yen + tax for a 1TB PS4. Preorders start on December 9th and includes an executive PS4 top cover, an original theme, and an original design, and (of course) Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue. The "KINGDOM HEARTS 15th ANNIVERSARY" PS4® top cover will also be sold until December 22, 2016 for 3,000 yen. Images for the bundle can be found down below. View attachment 45882 The theme song of Kingdom Hearts 2.8, Utada Hikaru's Hikari (Ray Of Hope MIX) will be released on an EP for digital download from the Japanese Itunes store one day before the Japanese release of the game itself and will cost ¥750 (about $6.57) The EP will include the following four tracks: Hikari (Ray Of Hope MIX) Simple And Clean (Ray of Hope MIX) Hikari (P's CLUB MIX) Simple And Clean (P's CLUB MIX) The cover art (featured above) for the album will feature the artwork of Tetsuya Nomura, created back in 2014, as an 15th Anniversary gift for her cover album. Releasing on December 15th, a little more than a month before the release of Kingdom Hearts 2.8, the game will be featured on the cover and have an article in Dengeki PlayStation. As seen above, the Kingdom Hearts series has been featured in Dengeki PlayStation countless times in the past. A Kingdom Hearts easter egg has been spotted in the newly released, Final Fantasy XV! As shown in a video clip released by JAXTAROO on Youtube, it looks like one of Noctis' friends is a Kingdom Hearts fan! Although the video shows no spoilers, the transcript has been put in spoiler tags for those avoiding every and all little spoilers for the game. Made from silver, these designs include the Wayfinder from Birth by Sleep (pictured above), Sora's necklace, Kairi's good luck charm, the Kingdom Key, and Roxas' zipper charm (all pictured below). The Wayfinder costs 13,390 yen (about 118 USD) while the other four necklaces cost 9,270 yen (about $82 UDS). Due to popular demand, new Kingdom Hearts Orchestra shows have been announced on their official Facebook page The new show dates are as follows: On May 13th, there will be a show at the Kuala Lumpur’s Plenery Hall at the Convention Center in Malaysia. Tickets will be available on Ticketpro on Nov 25th at 6pm local time. Since the New York show for June 24th is already sold out, another show will take place on June 23rd at the same venue, the United Palace Theatre, at 8pm. Tickets will be available on Wild Faery on Nov 25th at 6pm local time and from Ticketfly on December 8th. Another show will also be in Los Angeles on June 11th at the Dolby Theatre. Tickets will be available from Ticketmaster on November 25th at 6pm local time. The last show announced will take place on July 8th in Osaka, Japan at the Orix Hall, with ticket information to be released soon. Are any of you guys interested in attending these concerts? I really want to try and go to the New York (since I live in New York City)! Fingers crossed that I can get tickets!

As listed on AmiAmi, this Sora Static Arts figure will be released on March 17, 2017, just nearly in time for Kingdom Hearts' anniversary! It will cost 5,184 yen including tax and the dimensions of the figures are listed as: W65mm X D85mm X H138mm. Do any of you think you might pick it up? With all these figures coming out, I know, I'm sure as heck tempted! UPDATE: It looks like this figure is going to be available in Square Enix's North America site! It will be released in May 2017, is limited to two figures per person, and will cost $49.99.
Last weekend, Square Enix staff member, Shinji Hashimoto, known for his work as the series producer for Kingdom Hearts and the brand manager for Final Fantasy, attended the Lucca Comics & Games convention in Lucca, Tuscany, Italy. While there, he was part of a panel in which he talked about Kingdom Hearts and various Final Fantasy games. KH13 has provided a summary of the Kingdom Hearts portion of the panel: Italian website, GamerClick, recorded the panel, which can be found down below.
