Zodiac Force

Advent looked up at the ceiling, lifting his hands to rest them on the back of his head. "I feel sorry for you." He directed towards Angel, closing his eyes as he spoke. "Before all of this...well..." He trailed off, figuring nobody would want to hear his story. He smiled a little and opened his eyes, looking over at the two girls. "You two should get some rest. I'll stay up in case anything comes. Unless you girls would rather spend the night awake."

 

Advent kept his mouth shut. He didn't want to tell Angel that he was worried about something worse than Roger. He trailed behind her and took in a deep breath, wondering if it really was safe to sleep. Either way, going without sleep was dangerous. So what will you do to rest? You can't stay awake forever. I'll probably sleep when I'm not so paranoid.

 

Advent rolled his eyes and leaned back against the wall. "Stuck with Angel." He spoke teasingly, crossing his arms as he stared right at her. "If you do have a bad dream. You better tell me first." He turned his head to look at her window, almost expecting to see a pair of eyes looking right back at him.

Kill the girl first. A dark rasping voice said from outside the house, inaudible from inside. Three human-like creatures wearing torn cloaks circled the house, their dark red eyes examining the windows closely. Their eyes didn't shine so it would be impossible to notice them unless they were a mere inch away. The cloaks they wore moved about like a shroud of darkness, almost as if they sucked up the ambient light.

What if the boy gets in the way? Another voice asked.

Stick his head on a spike. Was the cold reply from their "superior". They stalked the house, waiting for the ones inside to go to sleep.

 

Advent turned back around to face Angel, opening his eyes. He tilted his head slightly as he looked Angel over, smiling a little. "You know, you always look nice." He commented, lowering his hands to his sides. He laughed quietly to himself as a thought came to mind. "You sleep in that?" His golden eyes flashed, Advent could feel something nearby but he wasn't to sure why he could sense something else outside the house. Three...but how do I know that? You still have a connection to the Corona you know. Even if you killed the thing living inside of you, you're still its chosen one. Shut up...

 

Advent shook his head slowly as his smile widened. "You're not making me. I'm doing it out of choice." He simply stated, walking over towards Angel and placing a hand on her shoulder. "Now get some rest. I'll even tuck you in."

Soon... One of the creatures peeked into Angel's room before moving away before it could be spotted.

 

Advent tilted his head slightly, curiously staring down at Angel. "I know how it'd be to find us two in your bedroom. I won't get either of us in trouble. I promise." With that, he added a confident nod and stepped back. "Now close your eyes, Angel. I'll watch over you." Like that's comforting to know. Who asked you!?

Enter the house the second that girl sleeps. The boy will be a problem. One of the creatures waited outside Angel's window while two others were by the front door.

BIC: Advent took in a deep breath, watching silently as Angel slept. He found it cute and partially wished he could watch her forever. You lovesick boy. Quiet!

Instead of simply breaking the door down like most beasts would, the creatures at the door picked the lock and opened the door making almost no sound at all as they did so. The one by the window waited for the perfect moment to strike.

 

Advent ran a hand through his messy white hair and sighed, fully aware that the others weren't safe anymore. I wish my sword was with me... He lowered his head, clenching his hands into fists.

Now.

Advent raised his hand to grab the arm of the creature that struck at him, it held on oddly shaped knife...well not odd but the curve on it made it look as if it was used for ritually murdering people. "What the hell?" His arm shook, Advent found it hard to keep the blade from cutting him as the creature possessed unnatural strength. A second cloaked being walked into Angel's room and drew a thin, straight sword and liftted it up, pointing it at Angel. With his other hand, Advent shot a gust of wind to throw the creature off balance. Let me help. How can you do that!? You're slow aren't you?

 

"Who are you people?" Advent growled and shoved the creature he was fighting back a few steps.

We were those that had the Corona take over. Now we live only to serve the- Advent cut the creature off, he really didn't expect it to answer but he wasn't going to let the chance to fight back just sit there. The creature fell back, black liquid flowing from its chest from where Advent shot a blade of wind at.

The window broke as another creature came in, drawing a sword of its own. Advent scooped up the knife from the dead...thing and swung it at the creature. How many are there!?
