    BIC: It felt like an eternity in Advent's dreams. He was breathing heavily, using all his effort just to lift his sword and manuever it to stop an incoming strike from killing him. Give up! You can't win! His other half laughed maniacally, showing no signs of tiring as he lazily flicked his blade to knock Advent's sword out of his hands. Shut...up... He responded, panting in between each word. I'm...not...done yet... His dark half pointed his sword at Advent's neck. I just won. Advent growled, swiftly grabbing the sword with his hand, moving it to the side and stabbing it into the ground before tackling his evil incarnation.

    Advent woke up, rolling out of bed and hitting the ground with a loud thud. "Ow!" His left hand was bleeding, as if the dream actually happened in real life. What's happening to me...?

    "Just a bad dream. That's all." He quickly flashed his bleeding hand at the others before moving it behind his back, hoping nobody saw. Are you stupid? I left you quite a big gash on that hand. How!? It was a dream! Advent sighed. "Angel, any ideas on where to go? My mind is blank."

    "Until snow-boy over here lets this blizzard die out. Yeah." Advent yawned and stretched. I feel something strange. Pry into both their minds. Now. I'll rip Alex's mind apart...but I'm not going into Angel's mind unless I have to. Stop being a pansy! "Hm..." Advent sat down on the bed, keeping his hand behind his back.

    "Remember when I told you I knew how I'm going to die?" Angel kept her voice low and her gaze out the window. "It was snowing then. But I'm not scared. In fact... it might be a nice escape." She smiled softly, sadly. "At the same time... I don't want to go anywhere. So maybe I am scared. But, regardless, whatever is waiting out there for me will find me eventually, snow or no snow." She turned her head to look at Advent and Alex, tears glistening in her eyes. "But you both knew that didn't you? Alex from his book, and Advent... well I suspect you've gotten whatever you want from out of my head. I don't care though; not anymore. This whole time I've figured I was just a tool to tip you guys off about the future. But I guess my part is over now... It's okay. I'm just sad that I lied to Claire. I told her I'd be back.... Nothing I can do about that now though." She lowered her head and look back out the window. "So don't worry, okay? I'm not going to try to change what's going to happen; you shouldn't either."

    Advent looked away and clenched his fists tightly in frustration. "Angel. I'm not letting you die. Even if you don't want me to change things...I'll still save you." He said, finally turning to face her.

    "It'll happen," Angel started, still looking out the window. "Even if you try to stop it. I've seen it, and..." She trailed off, her breath clouding a spot on the glass, her vision blurred from tears. "And I don't want you to be there." She finished, her voice cracking. "I don't want you to see that."

    He stood up and slowly walked over towards her. "What will stop me from saving you? I promise...You won't die." Advent whispered. He watched her quietly, unsure of what he could do at the moment.

    Angel began to turn to reply to Advent, but froze, her eyes glazing over.

    Pain. Pain racking every muscle, every nerve as she laid on the ground. Angel looked up at the sky, watching the snow fall. "So... close..." She breathed, her head falling back. She could feel numbness taking over, it was better than the pain, and then hands. Two hands holding her as if she were about to break. She wanted to speak, to tell the owner of the gentle hands that it was okay, to just let her go, but she couldn't find her voice. When she was just about to speak, everything went black.

    Angel exhaled the breath she'd been holding. "Thank you." She murmured to Advent.
