"I have nothing else to do now that Renge went to college." Alex sighed, then gave Angel an obviously fake smile, almost like if he was mocking her."And if you knew what went on in his mind...the twisted things the Corona Borealis is putting into his mind. In fact...i have proof. All has been predicted by the stars, and for a simple cost, Libra has given me the Epic of Advent. And what it foretells is a hard pill to swallow...I mean, why do you think i always know were you are?"

 

"Dont be so sure of that." Alex said taking out a book that only read "EPIC OF ADVENT" in golden letters on the spine. "The book says otherwise. A book that can tell you your future, past and present, the price is never too high. Even though I've done this once before." He glared at Advent "know that the Corona is finishing your sentences, it will all go downhill, unless of course, the Dark Comet is destroyed."

 

"I dont think you should do that Advent. This book is your future, if you destroy it...the consequences could be devastating. As for the Dark Comet...Look up." Alex pointed to the sky where a huge black, red an purple comet was leaving a trail across the sky. Alex opened the Epic of Advent again and began to read. "Chapter Six, Verse Fifteen: And so the hero's hatred for the darkness inside him heightened. the Avatar of Libra signaled the sky for the arrival of the Dark Comet." Alex sighed "Do you understand now?"

 

Alex's eyes changed color, now they were blood red. "Perhaps i should read the final entry of the book.... Chapter 13, Verse 13: and so the hero had let the darkness overcame him, the Comet was gone, but he had slain his own love in the process. The darkness swallowed him whole, but with his remaining light, he was reunited with him love. The hero Advent had taken his own life, to be reunited with Angel. "

 

"Enough!" Angel snapped. "I don't want to hear anything else about the future. I know that well enough. Now leave, Alex."

 

"The future is never set in stone." Alex said "The stars shall no longer chose the fate of Mankind. You can still change all of this Angel....Yet you are the only one that can." Alex closed the book and gave her a serious look. "You already know whats going to happen. So dont wait. Act." He then walked off.

 

Angel folded her arms. "The future is not a toy to be used as one wishes."

"I've got my own opportunities to take," Angel turned away from Alex and looked back at Advent.

 

"Some of them may seem important, but The Epic of Angel says otherwise." He then gave a sinister laugh as he disappeared into the forest.

 

Angel frowned. "I'd imagined this would go better." She sighed, speaking to Advent.

Angel smiled. "That's okay. I have a pretty good feeling this won't be our only one."

 

Angel sighed. "I'm not sure. Hopefully Alex really left and isn't hiding somewhere and listening to us."

 

"Great....now im bored again..." Alex sighed "Well, i should try that new technique i've been practicing..." Alex began to concentrate as he breathed in and out and made a hand sing. "Ice Release: Powder Blizzard." Axel clapped his hands and it suddenly began to snow. "no way, it works!" He said in a surprised manner.
