    "I didn't do anything! Seriously! She just...passed out." He looked down at Angel who was unconscious in his arms and sighed. "I guess I'll have to carry her inside..."

    Angel slowly walked through the front door of her home. "Mom..? Claire..?" She barely recognized the weak voice as her own. She ran her hand along the wall to keep herself steady. "Mom? Claire?" She called louder. As she turned down the hallway to her room, her breathing hitched at the destruction along the walls. She sped her pace to her room, the blood on the walls already telling her what she'd fine. She froze in the doorway of her room. It had been torn apart; someone was looking for something. "No...," Angel's voice broke. "No, no, no...!" She fell to her knees, her eyes finally seeing the corpses that the blood on the hallway walls belonged to. "NO!"

    Advent looked down at Angel one more time before carrying her inside the inn. "She's having a bad dream I bet..." He said under his breath. He then immediately took her to the closest room, ignoring a man behind a counter shouting that he needed to pay.

    He placed Angel gently on the bed inside the room and spun to face the same man who wanted money for him taking Anel inside. "Stupid Innkeeper..." He muttered before paying the man.
    "What did you do to that girl?" The man asked.
    "She fainted when..." When what!? "I proposed to her..." He stupidly finished.
    "Just keep it clean..." The man said, turning and leaving the room muttering, "Kids these days..." under his breath.

    "Take the necklace and kill her..."
    Angel heard dragging footsteps and knew she should stand, but she couldn't find the strength. A heavy, clawed hand rested on her head...

    Angel's eyes snapped open. "Bloody hell...." She whispered. She sat up and cried out from the pain in her arm. She looked down at the bed she was on, frowning when she saw how her blood had already stained the sheets. She looked at Advent. "I shouldn't be doing this..."

    Advent walked up to Angel and smiled. "This might sting...a lot." He warned since the cloth was damp not because of water but because he had poured some alcohol on it. Advent then proceeded to clean the wound carefully.
