OOC: hey everyone. ^^ My computer at home is fixed now, but I've got A LOT of school work. I'll be on as often as I can (which includes my lunch periods like right now XD)

BIC: "I don't want to talk about my birthday, okay?" Angel said bitterly. "Go ask my mom if you want to know more." She opened the door to her room and left it open in case Advent wanted to follow. Seeing the small box on her bed, she went over and picked it up. A wave of nervousness passed over her as she lifted the lid and wondered what he dad could have left for her. It's not like he was planning to die. Why would he have picked out a present for my eighteenth birthday so early?

 

Angel shrugged her shoulders. "I'm not sure." She placed teh box on her night table and then unhooked her dagger belt and laid it on the bed. She sighed. "Our family isn't really that structured, in case you didn't notice. Claire is only my half-sister. Her father is my step-father."

 

"I'm not that curious. In fact, I don't really want to know what he left me." Angel answered. "It kinda makes it seem like he knew he was going to die. Besides, knowing my dad, it's probably a pair of sunglasses." She laughed bitterly at her own joke.

Angel took the box back. "You're so pushy," She muttered. She hesitated for a moment and then delicately ripped the wrapping off and removed the lid. Her mouth fell open as she stared at the necklace inside. Gingerly, she lifted the necklace out of its place and held it in her palm. The chain was silver with a standard clasp. The charm was a Sagittarius figure, the tip of its arrow connected to a small gem of turquoise sapphire. Angel carefully ran her index finger along the charm.

 

Angel slowly shook her head. "It's not that," She murmured. She stared at the necklace a moment longer, reaching back into her memory for the memories she'd blocked out. "My dad...," She hesitated. "I think he knew. I think he was like me. But I don't think he wanted to be. I think that's why he... did what he did. Maybe he knew what was going to happen and that's why he set this aside for me...."

 

"It's no trouble for you to be here, really." Angel assured Advent. "I'd like you to stay." She added quietly. Avoiding looking at Advent, she distracted herself by putting on the necklace.

"Hey, Angel," Claire called, coming towards Angel's room.

Angel stood and went to her mirror to look at the necklace. She was about to call back to Claire when she noticed the turquoise sapphire at the tip of the charm's arrow gleam in the sunlight. A sudden pain swept through her head.

"Mom wants to know if you want-" Claire came in the room just in time to see Angel faint and fall to the floor. "Angel?!" Claire looked at Advent, her blond hair whipping into her face due to the speed she turned her head. "What happened?" She rushed to Angel's side, not waiting for an answer. Angel's never fainted before. What if... No. She can't be having a vision. She's not sleeping.

 

Claire looked back at Advent. He can't have done anything. He's over there. She carefully rolled Angel onto her back. "Angel..." She muttered. "Wake up." Claire glared over at Advent. "If you're not going to help, leave."

 

Claire eyed Advent. Is he special too? Angel can't be the only one. She shook off the morbid feeling and tried to answer Advent, "I don't know. She probably didn't eat anything today. And she didn't really sleep well last night." Claire avoided saying too much, not knowing if Advent knew about Angel's premonitions or not, and knowing that Angel hated talking about them.

 

OOC: im back from hiatus! ready to catch up some long-lost rping!

A strong, loud knock was heard on the door of Angel's home. A small girl about ten years old was banging on her door.

 

Claire stared wide-eyed at Advent. "Y-Yeah, I think so...." She jumped at the sound of the knocking. Who could that be?

Angel's mother answered the door. "Hello. Can I help you?"
