    Thomas looked over at Advent. "I'd call the police if you did."

    "Thomas," Angel began. "He's not joking."

    Thomas looked back at Angel. "You sure have a knack at picking guys." He roughly kissed Angel and then let her go. "Call me." He said as he got in his car and pulled out of the driveway.

    Angel hung her head and pursed her lips together. After a moment, she looked up at Advent. "Thank you."
