Tai hurriedly scooped Alexis up and held her in his hands."..Unless you want to be carried by someone you like better,I'll hold on to you..''he told her.

 

She whimpered. " Okay," and rested on his hand, She couldn't move. Her powers took a lot out of her.

 

Tai looked at Rik. Go get him.. he thought,then ran after Alaric while carefully holding Alexis in his hands."..Why did you do that?"he asked Alexis,after catching up with Alaric.

 

"what do you mean?" She asked, talking slow.

 

"...Grant that wish..that's the one thing we're trying to prevent here''Tai gently patted her head with his pinky.

 

"I had to. It's not a choice for us, when someone askes for a wish, we have to grant it," She said slowly getting up.

 

"..I see..''Tai said silently,peering down at Alexis."..You've got the spirit of a fighter..why doesn't Jessica?"he asked

 

"I'm more of the backbone, she doesn't believe in fighting. That's what happened when we were little pixies. She was getting bullied and she did nothing. I had to jump in to help her," She said looking up at Tai. "I just protect her, I guess you can say it's my job"

 

"..So your like her big sister,always looking out for her..I think that's cool..''Tai told Alexis,admiring her spirit to defend others.He wondered if he could do the same,but as Jessica said,he was only 'ok'..so he shouldn't try and do anything special with them... at least until they accepted him as a friend..

 

"I try the best I can, " She smiled at him, "I have to be anyway. Stay positive and be strong. Take out the enemy before it takes you out" She said it like it was her destiny to do so.

 

Tai laughed silently."Excellent motto..or saying....so now that you granted a wish,what are you going to do now?..you don't need to grant anyone else's,right?"he asked

 

"I'm not sure, I have to ask Jessica...but... I think I'm supposed to follow that creepy guy now" She shuddered at the thought.

 

"..Who would you want to follow then?"Tai asked.To him,everyone else was either weird or silly.

 

"I wouldn't want to follow anyone, " She said quietly lying back on Tai's hand.

 

"....you just want to be your own fairy,and not follow some potential jerk around..is that it?"Tai asked her.

 

"Yeahh." Lexi said turning her body to the side. "I wish I wasn't able to be forced to follow a master, but I can't wish for anything for myself,"

 

"..That stinks..''Tai admitted,frowning.But that just gave him more questions to ask."..If you could wish for anything..what would you wish for?"he asked.

 

"I wouldn't know, but probably for Jessica to be free and never harmed by anyone or anything," She said the truth," I don't think I'm really worth a wish,"
