"...." Melanie was going to make a comment about her getting ignored, but she decided it didn't matter. The girl saved her life so she really didn't owe any answers. "Okay then, how about you ask me something?"

 

Alice started to think, she didn't know what to ask. "I dunno", she mumbled, "I don't know what to ask".​

OOC: lul at my epic fail of replying time. :lolface: And since when is this in America? o.O

BIC: Emmy darted out after Angel, arms out wide, hands holding knives directed at the guards. One lunged forward for her, she jumped and landed with one foot on the guard's back. She jumped again, sending the guard careening face-first into the ground. She looked over at Angel. Her gaze was locked with one of the guards. But there was still another. She looked frantically at the last guard, and in that moment he seemed to see his opportunity. Emmy put one of her knives back on her belt, grabbed the guard and threw him to the ground.

BIC: Angel slowly walked toward the one guard left, her gaze on him. Uncurling her whip, she snaked it around his neck and jerked, breaking it. Panting, she shook her head, then opened her eyes, looking around for Emmy.

 

Emmy stood there, looking at the guards on the ground, catching her breath. "I kind of enjoyed that," she said with a smile. She turned to Angel. "We should probably get out of here. Your 'home' isn't sage anymore," she told her sombrely.

BIC: Angel smiled. "Any place in mind?" She asked, tilting her head. Her hair spilled down her shoulder, blowing in the gentle wind. "Because I have nothing else." She coiled up her whip and put it back, then tying her hair back, biting her lip. "Let's get up somewhere high."

 

While Alex was busy looking for something she could use to look at her appearance, she heard the foot steps of Serin leaving. She quickly turned around and ran after him, not wanting to end up lost due to her wound and what just happened. When she caught up with him, she stood behind him, removing her hood before taking a few steps forward until she stood beside him. "Looking for something?" she asked, looking around the area, seeing no one in sight.

Rosette heard in the distance an explosion. Deciding to leave the alleyway, she looked up at the sky, wondering what was happening. Earlier she heard a bunch of other things and a very faint gun shot as well. She stood in one spot for a moment, crossing her arms and lowering her head. She began to hear all of this after seeing those people, unless she's suddenly losing her mind. Rose shook her head, wrapping her arms around her stomach, keeping her head down and began to walk slowly.

OOC: I don't know how active I'll be now due to personal issues at home and stuffs. >> Buuuut...it doesn't mean to stop posting. B| I'll reply when I can and whenever I'm not distracted or "busy". So...yeah. <<;
And, lol, Arch. Living fabric. That was the first thing to make me laugh today.

 

Ooc: Sorry for replying late, but I counldn't think of anything to say....like now.

"Really? You can't think of a thing to ask me?....Well, I can mention a few other things then my name. I'm fourteen years and I used to have a father and a little brother a few years ago. They both died." Melanie watched the sky turn another darker shade. The moon was getting more visible.

 

OOC: :B|: You know what I meant.

BIC: Emmy looked around a bit. "The only real 'up high' would probably be the rooftops," she concluded. "They'll have to do." She looked at one of the near buildings, trying to locate a way up. She and the rest of the Omacron were strong, but were they strong enough to scale a building single-handedly?
"I don't know how we're going to get up th-"

Emmy's head suddenly started pounding. She closed her eyes tight and cradled her head in her hands as she doubled over. She whimpered softly, trying so hard not to scream from the blinding pain.

 

The change in the girl was astonishingly quick. Angel knelt by the girl, gently taking her shoulder, speaking in her ear. She couldn't remember what she said, but it was something comfortingly. Looking over her shoulder, she swore. Two guards were watching them. It could easily turn from suspicion to something more dangerous. "Sorry, Emmy." She muttered, grabbing the girl and running, carrying her in her arms. Since they were about the same weight, this kind of sucked. Something had to go right.

 

Emmy didn't want to be caried, but she couldn't manage doing anything else. All she could think was It will pass, it will pass, over and over until each sentence ran into the other. When this pain happened to Alex it didn't seem to last more than a minute, but so much can happen in a minute.
Emmy could feel the intense pain start to fade. "Put me down!" She was starting to panic. She could feel some strange new power in her, that was almost trying to get out.

 

Angel tilted her head, still running, then chose to ignore her. She ran into the alley, panting lightly, then jumped to one wall. She pushed with her leg muscles, then almost smacked into the other wall, reacting just in time to put her legs against it and push off. She continued in this fashion up to the roof, then tossed the girl, hoping she would land okay before falling over the edge, gripping it.

 

Emmy miraculously held back a scream as she saw the roof getting nearer. It was too late to do anything, she was going to land face first. She gasped, bracing for impact. Suddenly, she was sucked into wisps of silver, only to find herself half a second later laying on her front on the rooftop.
Uninjured.
She gasped for air. Whatever just happened had made her body feel like it was imploding and exploding at the same time. The air had been forced from her lungs. She turned over and propped herself up on her elbows, coughing and gasping.

 

Angel pulled herself up, catching her breath as she rolled to her feet, her hair in the way. She impatiently brushed it back, then looked around for Emmy. "You okay?" she asked, her voice only slightly sarcastic. The girl did look a little paler, and her eyes were wide. Oh boy....

 

Alex turned her body as Serin walked past her. She looked at her shoulder, feeling less pain than before but it still did hurt. "Yeah..." she muttered, taking a few steps forward. She raised her head to look at Serin before looking up at the sky; it was changing. Is this normal too? Alex shook her head, figuring she might as well ignore it and deal with everything that happens around her that doesn't involve what she needs to do.

Rosette raised her head, looking around the area. She saw nobody around her; she was alone in that area. It kind of creeped her out. She brought one hand over her mouth, suddenly getting a chill go down her spin. Rosette shook her head, slowing down her pace until she came to a stop. "I need to find somewhere to stay. I can't go back to the palace or where I actually stay." she murmured. As she thought of a place she can sleep for the night, she heard footsteps somewhere near her. She quickly looked around the area, wondering in which direction it had come from. From the corner of her eye, she saw someone in a cloak a few feet away from her. Odd, I didn't see that person.

 

"I don't even know," Emmy wheezed. She didn't seem to be injured, just dizzy and nauseas. Was that my... "power"? "Did you see that?" she asked partially to Angel and partially to herself. "That was incredible." She looked up, and noticed the sky was turning a hue of orange.

Angel followed her gaze. "Two words. Sunset." She sat next to the girl, still staring up at the sky. "Guess you figuring out your powers still?" she smiled a little, lying on her back. "This is the life we get. You up for it yet?"

"Don't have much of a choice, do I?" Emmy chuckled. "But I'm up for anything... within reasonable limits, of course. I think I'll just go with the flow for now, and work out what I'm supposed to do as I go along."
Emmy closed her eyes, willing the dizziness to go away. I'm gonna have to practice that.
