She couldn't smell from where she was, but Melanie knew the food in the kitchen was smelling great by now. Too bad the servants never got to taste any of it...unless they stole. The last and only time she got something from the kitchen was when a servant snuck some chocolate into the basement and shared it with other servants, including her. Two months later, the same servant that stole the chocolate was immediately killed. Either someone snitched on them or they were caught by a guard. Someone snitched. Melanie said to herself. Just so they could get a small plate of food as a reward.

 

Taro made his way towards his house, when he arrived he used a minute to look at what was left of it. His mind wandered and for a second the color in his eyes changed. But his thoughts was quickly interrupted by a little puppy peeing on his leg.

"Bad doggy. My leg is for walking not for peeing" The dog ignored him and finished peeing and then walked away. Taro who was beginning to become bored decided to follow the puppy. He went down on all four and began crawling after it

 

The scientist watched as everyone seem to be getting used to their bodies. He felt himself continue to become filled with joy even though deep down, he felt nervous. He knew he had to give them time until they were able to fully control their bodies. He also knew they didn't know they had powers. He had to let them find them on their own. He placed his hand over his mouth and closed his eyes, thinking. He slowly nodded his head and took another step forward, opening his eyes and lowering his hand down to his side.

"I'm positive all of you are wondering where you all are. And I'm positive all of you can understand what I'm saying." he said, placing his hands behind his back, looking at each of them. "If you haven't spoken yet, you'll eventually speak. All of you have been created for a certain reason. Although, I won't go any further for what that reason is until I know all of you understand what I have just said."

Alex narrowed her eyes, watching and listening to the scientist. They had a purpose on why they were here? It surprised her she understood what he just said and it surprised her even more that she felt another emotion. Curiosity. She crossed her arms, looking down at the ground, nodding her head a little. By doing this, it caught the scientist's attention. Alex raised her head and looked at the scientist. She then looked at the others, wondering if they understood everything just like her.

 

Angel didn't like this at all. She gripped the wall, slowly making her way to the front, feeling faint. She wanted to see this person who was talking. Her head pounded, her vision blurred, her stomach rumbled, but she kept moving. She wanted to see.

 

Emmy dragged herself to sit on the edge of the bed, so that her legs below the knees were hanging over the end. She looked over to the man in the white coat again. His delight of this situation seemed to almost anger her. She opened her mouth to speak, but closed it again, not quite sure which one of the infinite questions swirling around in her mind. "P-please..." she managed to stumble out her first words, "who are you?"

 

The middle-aged man looked at both Rho and Emmy, glad to hear two others speak. "You do have names, which I will give you in a few moments." he said, answering Rho's question first before turning away and taking a few steps away from the group.

"My name is Al. Right now all of you are in a city known as Pulse. We are currently in the palace that is located in the center of the city." the scientist said, turning around, facing the young group once more. "I am a scientist who works under the orders of the ruler. But, he isn't one that is doing the right thing to this city. Pulse was once a high-tech, beautiful city, but he changed it. Everyone is poor and we're all slaves."

Al clenched his hand into a fist, sighing deeply. "All of you were created for one special reason. You were born to have powers, mind and body much greater than the average human being. Within you, you have powers that are either known or unknown to man. Those powers can awaken any moment so pay attention when it comes to your body."

Al took a step back, smiling at the group. "This group right here has been given the name Omacron." he said before walking over to Rho. "But each of you do have separate names that I have given to you after you were made." Al looked at Rho who was slightly taller than him. "You have been given the name Rho. Remember it." he said, lightly tapping his index finger against his temple turning away from Rho and walking over towards Emmy.

 

As Al walked towards Emmy she started to shuffle the opposite way on the bed, until her feet landed on the floor. As her legs took on her weight for the first time, her knees gave out for a fraction of a second. But she regained control. She took a few steps back from the approaching scientist. She didn't know whether she was doing this out of fear or what else. She suddenly stood her ground, and stood as tall as she could, despite the scientist being a couple of inches or so taller than her. She could feel strength almost pouring into her veins.

 

Set watched the scientist converse with those who spoke. His mind had figured out how to use speech but for some reason Set felt unwilling to use his new found function. Looking once again at his hands pondering on the fact that powers will appear he felt his intellegence boost. Now being able to understand fully what was being said and how to act like the average human based on simply viewing the scientists movements. Set waited with his eyes fixed on the scientist, soon he would have a name.

 

Angel almost laughed. Names, hm? She clenched her hand. So cute. He was now giving them names, like he owned them. Biting down on her lip, she ignored this thought, for following it would bring her to violence, and she didn't need that, not yet. Watching, she leaned against the wall. If he touched her, he would regret it.

BIC: Al chuckled, hearing Rho repeat his name several times as he walked towards Emmy. He stopped walking just a few inches away from her. "Now you." he said, smiling at her. "Your name is Emmy." He probably expected a different reaction than to when he had told Rho his name but still expected a bit of excitement. He turned his back around on Emmy and looked at Serin and Alex. He walked over to Alex first, seeing her slightly jump up and down. She seemed more excited than everyone else. "Alex, that's your name."

He then turned towards Serin and the last two who had yet to be given their names. He pointed at Serin, then at Set and lastly at Angel. "Serin, Set and Angel. In that order." He lowered his hand down to his side and took a few steps away from the group. "Now, I have something else to let you guys have." Al walked over a different switch, turning it and making a table appear to the right of the group. On that table laid weapons he had created.

"I am letting you take your own weapons if you wish. Since you were all recently born, your powers aren't really awoken yet. So, I'm letting you choose your own weapons to defend yourselves while your powers slowly show themselves."

At the sound of her name, Alex showed a large smile, lowering her head and mouthing it out before saying it quietly to herself. Knowing she had a name of her own made her happy. It was different and sounded different from everyone else's names. She then raised her head, turning her attention towards the table. She listened to Al while he was speaking but she already had something she wanted. She kept her eyes on it, while Al finished speaking.

 

Angel ignored the scientist, pushing past him roughly to get to the table. She scanned the weapons...did she really want one? Her eyes caught on one in the corner, a long whip made of leather. That was....interesting. She gently ran her hands over it, picking it up, letting it unfurl. Maybe.....maybe not.

 

Angel didn't bother looking up as she stuck the whip in her belt loop, running her fingers over it. "That's what you get. Next time you'll end up with a knife in your back for not noticing." Satisfied, she looked up, studying him, then the others. Not enough to be a threat.

 

OOC: well seeing as I only just joined after this started... I'm going to try fit myself into this group. Might be a long post haha

BIC:

Alice knew she was conscience, but her eyes were really heavy. It took a while for her to open, but when she did, a bright light attacked her. Trying to block the light with her arm, it took a moment until she learnt that the light wouldn't hurt, so she tried to adjust her eyes as she lowered her arm. She looked around seeing a number of people, all on beds identical to hers, and the expressions the same, confusion. She noticed she was one of the last to wake up, but the thought ended when she heard a man's voice boom. It came as a surprise to know what he was talking about. 'Surprise... what a wierd feeling' she thought as she listened to what the man said, explaining what they are, and the history of where they were, it wa so much information to take in at once, but it was like she understood it already.

The professor name Al had explained what the new ruler had done and how everybody was living now. He also explained that they had powers, a thought that Alice didn't seem to like straight away. She had to get used to so much that figuring out her powers might be too much. He also explained that they were omicron and they their own names, Alice did like the sound of this however, but when he started to name all the others, he hadn't passed her. He went straight to the weapons. She felt sad, was she a failure? Maybe it was because she hadn't said anything yet, or maybe she was to be experimented on more.....​

OOC: sorry. I'm only trying to make sure i've kept up with everything so yeeaahh no little posts about expanding and contracting stomachs and names being mentioned a million times...

Yeah, she hasn't be named either ^^

 

"Emmy..." she muttered almost silently to herself. The name felt smooth on her lips, and she grew fond of it almost immediately. Her gaze followed the scientist as he spoke the names of the others in the room. She watched, memorizing and matching the faces to their names.

Emmy's eyes widened when Al revealed the table of weapons. She didn't move at first, she watched as some of the others made their way to the weapons. The others all had different mindsets, she noted. Different... personalities. She approached the table of weapons, smirking as Rho had taken the majority of the waapons for himself. "You're not gonna get very far with all that," she chuckled in agreement with Serin.

She looked over the table, marvelling at all the weapons. They all looked powerful, but none really caught her eye. Until she saw a knife... no... two knives together, gleaming at her. She picked them up, one in each hand; they were so light. She swished them through the air a couple of times.


OOC: Figures the longest post I've made yet I would make on my Wii. This took forever. ><

 

OOC: It's fine. I was hoping you'd post today so I'd make the scientist do everything he did to everyone else. XD

BIC: Al had watched as Rho grabbed his load of weapons. They were a lot but he guessed he was just being careful. Al shook his head before he spotted Alice. Odd that she was the last to wake up. Al walked away from the switch, heading towards Alice. He'd let the others choose the weapons they wished while he took care of Alice.

"Hello." he said in a gentle tone, hoping not to startle her. "A little late than the others." Al stood back for a moment, carefully examining Alice. Everything seemed fine. She looked like an ordinary human being. Al nodded his head, looking back up at Alice.

"Well, I'm sure you heard everything I told the others. And by the looks of it, you did. Everyone has names they were given after they were made. You have your own name and it's Alice. That's your name." Al turned to the side, look at everyone else. "Right now, they're getting weapons of their own before their powers awaken. You can get a weapon too if you like."

Alex giggled, seeing Rho grab almost everything off the table. She slightly tilted her head, seeing one more bow on the table. Happy Rho, or anyone else, didn't get it, she quickly walked over to the table, picking up the bow and arrows, strapping them to her back. She made sure she'd be able to take the bow off her back at any given moment, and be able to take an arrow as well. As soon as she was done, she stepped away from the table and let the others take what they wanted.

 

OOC: theres a glitch, Alice explodes, the end, gah i forgot about weapon, i kinda don't want her to have one... oh well ^^

"Alice", she murmured to herself. It sounded like Al's name, but with 'is' at the end of it. For a second she wondered if he was asking her a question, but he stated it was her name and she accepted it. "Thank you", she said as she walked to the others, losing her balance a little one the first few steps.

When she got to the weapons table*, she noticed that a lot of them had gone, learning a second later that it was the one named Rho who had taken them all. One of the knives that were left had caught her eye, it looked sharp, but small enough to keep in her pocket**. She took the knife and stood back with Alex, letting others choose from the rest of them.​
