Tomb raider: The Next Gen

OOC: Eh, my characters are basically dead... >< *posts anyways*

BIC:

Misaki stayed in the hotel room. She didn't dare to go outside for any reason what so ever. She brushed her long, silky hair one stroke at a time, letting it fall through her fingers with her free hand. The world seemed so different ever since Josh told her the news of their people... She sighed, lowering the brush slowly and setting it on her lap. She turned her head to look over her shoulders out the window. Something... was coming.

Corey was back on the streets again. Nothing kept him in one place for very long, and he didn't sleep that much anyways. He kept the map case close to him at all times, watching the streets ahead of him carefully. At this time of night... thugs were out. Tomb Raiders were usually their main targets.

 

OOC: Yay, posty!
Josh let the wind hit his face. Something was wrong. He turned to the side, seeing Misaki's room. She was fine, he knew. Just as he turned back, something smacked into him, shoving him to the side. Josh tucked into a ball as he flew through the air, smashing into a tree. He just had time to activate the distress call in his bracelet,right before the someone or something picked him up and threw him again. Hopefully Misaki had her necklace nearby, she would hear him.

 

Misaki looked down at her necklace around her neck. She was right... She quickly jumped from her bed and headed to the fire escape out her window. She slid down the metal bars, landed on the side walk, and begain to sprint as fast as she could. She was a pretty fast runner.

A short time later, Misaki turned a corner, seeing Josh being beat up by somebody. Her eyes opened wide in fear. "JOSH!" She quickly started to advance to him, to give him aid. Suddenly, a loud bang sounded out the streets, echoing around the area. Misaki felt a sudden pain in her chest, more to the right side by her shoulder. She lost her balance, falling to the ground, sliding on the rocks on the ground. She was shot, she knew it. Misaki tried to keep her mind calm as she took in shakey breaths. She wasn't going to die, the bullet didn't hit any vital organs. It just caused a lot of pain. She winced and closed her eyes tightly, curling up into a ball and trying to force herself back up. Josh needed her help, and she couldn't be laying around now. It was just so hard...

OOC: *looks at post* Wooooow... D8

 

OOC: O.O

BIC: Josh heard the bang, and shoved the thing away, kicking it where the stomach should have been. It fell back, and he pulled out his sword, stabbing it through. The being turned blue and vanished. Josh ran over to Misaki. "Are you okay?!" he touched her shoulder gently, then cursed.

 

Misaki quickly nodded her head, not wanting Josh to worry too much. She managed to force herself to sit up. She held her shoulder tightly. "I'll... ephmm... Be alright." She shut her eyes tightly as she put more pressure on it, trying to force herself to stand back up.

Somebody was in the shadows... getting ready to strike again. He did get the girl, which was one of his goals... Just didn't kill her. He needed to kill both of them to get the bounty.

 

Josh forced her to sit back down. "Don't move, I'm going to look at it, kay?" He gently pulled her hand off her shoulder, moving his bracelet closer to the wound. It started glowing, shedding enough light for him to see. "The bullet went right through." he murmured, ripping the sleeve of his shirt to make a bandage.

 

Dev laughed, looking up at Aiden. "Have you ever felt girly?" she asked.

OOC: Writer's block has struck again DX

 

Dev slowly wobbled, trying to stand on her own. "I hav a motorcycle...." she thought outloud. "There's a Porsche in the garage. Black. You wanna drive it?" she asked, smiling.

OOC: Not only do I have writer'sblock, I don't know any car talk at all XDX

 

Misaki clutched the gravel tightly, trying to not move her hand back over the wound. It hurt a lot to her. She never felt this kind of pain before. She knew something was still there though. Misaki shut her eyes tightly and turned her head to the side. "Josh... he's...still..." A cry was caught in her throat. She wasn't going to cry out in pain.

A sound of a gun clicking echoed. The assasign was getting ready to pull the trigger again.

 

Josh lifted his head, searching the darkness. "Damn it!" he shoved Misaki down to the ground.

 

Misaki winced and prayed that they would get out of this. This was so scary and new.

The gun fired a few rounds, but someone completly missed the two of them. The guy realized that he probably wouldn't be able to take these two down, since they were on alert now. He lowered the gun, and then slinked back into the shadows. Until next time.

 

Josh, sighed, pulling Misaki back up gently. "You okay?" he asked, looking for the assailant. Whoever it was, he thought it was gone.

 

Misaki nodded her head a little bit. She looked at her hand. It was covered in blood. She lowerd it, trying to scrape the blood off. She breathed heavily through her teeth when she moved her arm. Maybe she wasn't okay... "It... hurts... a lot..." She felt her head spinning for a short bit and brought a hand up gently to her head.

 

Josh nodded, supporting Misaki. "I know." He gently prodded her shoulder, then finished bandaging it. "You've lost a lot of blood." He picked her up gently, carrying her toward the hotel. "You need to stay awake, okay?"

 

Misaki nodded her head slowly, her head leaning against Josh's chest. "I'll...try...." She felt a suddenly shot in the area where the bullet was. It was like feeling the bullet come in again... But it was just her imagination. She clentched her fists tightly, wishing for the pain to go away.

 

Josh sighed as he looked up at the window where Misaki's room was. Second floor...and there was no way he was going to carry her through the hotel like this. "Hold on." he said, looking around one last time. He couldn't sense anyone....he crouched down, then jumped up, landing on the sill gently, then climbing in the room.

 

Misaki was trying to stay awake, like Josh said to. It was getting harder though. She snapped her eyes open, realizing that she closed them. Stay awake... she thought in her mind. Why didn't she see the shot coming? Why didn't she sense it until it happened?

 

Josh set Misaki on the bed, then went through the fridge in the room. "Hang in there, Misaki." he muttered, combing through the contents. He pulled out a bottle of apple juice and went back over to her, handing the open bottle to her. "Drink." he ordered.
