OOC: Crud.... >< Quick recap? *feels lazy*

 

basically every one is looking at the magnificient hourglass. That's about it.

 

As the sands touched Ivan he felt a rush go through him much like fear but it seemed heavier. He noticed that those who where mutating had become violent looking. For some reason the dagger in his hand had fully let go from the handle and the wire connected to segments of the blade dropped to the ground into the sand. The wire, blade and handle seemed to glow a golden yellow as it touched the sands until the tip of the blade flew back in an instant and smashed into its dagger form before it lauched back and ripped into Ivan's left arms ripping apart his coat sleave as well. For some reason this didn't hurt once it settled.
Ivan reached for his grandfathers gun and pulled it out holding it at the oncomming sand infected crew, the one his gun aimed at was his friend who had brought him along. The adrenaline pumping through his body had him rush all his thoughts into a sweep, My arm... the others... my gun, His friend dived at him in a fearsome rush. Ivan broke from his trance of thought paniced as he pulled the trigger and shot his now sand monster friend through the head.

 

OOC: And how come I can't write a freakin paragraph???

BIC: Eva shivered, and began backing away from the dig site. Something was wrong, she shouldn't be here. She turned to run, tripping over herself.

 

Morgan quickly back up, careful not to step close to the sand. Something... didn't seem right. Something caught her eye, she looked to her chest. The madallion underneath was glowing. She blinked for a second and then looked back up quickly. She and the others that weren't transforming had to get out of here... and fast.

 

Ryan's legs and arms felt like pudding. He quickly fell to the ground. "W-what's going on!" He exclaimed. He tried to grab his bow 'n arrows. "No use." He said to himself. He looked towards Morgan. He dragged his body next to her and looked up. "Do you know what's going on?" He asked, worried. "I feel... weird." He said to the girl, curiosity gleaming in his sky, blue eyes.

 

Sam skid to a stop, staring up at the giant Hourglass. "Wow..." she said in amazement. She took a few steps forward, not taking her eyes of the object. I wonder how this got here anyway. She finally lowered her head, seeing Dastan and the professor doing something with the Hourglass. Sam took another few steps forward, wanting to get closer.

OOC: I should already have the staff? @_@

Bic: Johanna, holding on to her now existent staff thanks to Her's mistake and her laziness to fix it creatively, felt the power coursing through her hand around the staff and down her arm. "What the hell is going on?!" she blurted, panicking.

 

OOC: WHAA!!!!!

BIC: Eva stumbled, falling onto her back. She rolled onto her side, looking up. "Damn." she whispered. This was bad.

 

Wolfe stepped back, quickly growing short of breath due to panic. her eyes shifted, attempting to focus on something, anything. she held her staff tightly, her heart racing faster than usual. "oh noes..." she swallowed, forcing the lump back from her throat.

 

Morgan looked at Dastan and everyone else. They were all just standing around gawking at what was happening. They needed to move, now. "Everyone who still has a sane mind, move out to the exit! Unless you want to have your death wish!" She looked around, trying to find an exit in all the chaos. Morgan decided that going back the way they came wasn't a very smart move...

There... There was a crack in the wall. She judged that everyone could fit through it. "Follow me!" She started plowing through the sand, avoiding the people who were still transforming. She looked behind her to see if anyone else is following. I'm surprised I'm this calm. I feel like I could scream and already get out of her. Morgan clentched her fist tightly, not wanting to stand in one place for very long.

OOC: Holy... Moly... D8 *looking at two paragraph* Wooooow... I didn't know they were that big till I posted...

 

Wolfe couldn't move; she was so frightened. although scared, she did feel a building sense of curiosity. she managed to move her eyes to see Morgan stood near a wall. she attempted to move, and, quite badly, she failed. she remained stood on the spot.

 

OOC: I'm going to attempt to post....><

BIC: Eva backed away slowly, trying not to attract anyone's attention. She couldn't tell who was still sane, and who wasn't. She watched, her eyes wide.

Ivan was shocked to discover his shot to the head of his monsterfied friend had done what seemed to be little damage. Instantly he fired more and more shots from the old gun eventually knocking his once friend to the ground with him not moving as more sand monsters approached.
Why don't you use the daggertail? and arrogant voice stuck into Ivan's mind.
Whats a daggertail and who are you?, he asked the fear of the moment shaking his minds voice.
The daggertail in the thing on your left arm, you should know how to use it.
Ivan paniced when he realised the monsters had gotten to close and in that moment he swung his left arm and the bladed wire on his arm spun off and cut clean through a monster to Ivan's surprise.
Good, get through this and i'll tell you who I am, the voice spoke darkly into Ivan's thoughts.

 

Eve stopped, then dropped to her knees, feeling a rush of wind over her head. She looked up to see a guy crouching opposite her. He wasn't normal, she thought, her eyes wide. He came toward her, moving like a wounded animal. She backed up, then grabbed something from behind her as the guy leaped toward her. She held the item in front of her, trying to protect herself. The guy bounced off the item just as she realized it was a shield. She grinned and rolled over, getting to her feet. This is more like it.
