This War Is Ours: Light and Dark

"Good to hear that you've quit the sherade" Ita muttered. "You know though, if you were going to pick a town to be in then you could've chosen one much more upper class" he said to her, irratation in his voice

 

Katheline looked at him still, not really listening to the Guard. She was surprised about how he didn't catch on to the similar names. "Well, I am Katheline Vandazan. I escaped the day my Father was going to kill me." She continued, wondering what he was going to say.

 

Rik was seated on the other side of the fountain, he could hear everything going on behind him.

Katheline looked at Grey in a frantic way. "I did not! I told you my real name, you didn't ask for my past, heritage, or my last name; for that matter." She said, trying to reason with his main conclusion. She saw a man sit down in the corner of her eye, not really noticing until now. She didn't really want to say more, unless he was a friend. Katheline turned some, looking him over. "Will you open your mouth? Or shall I silence it forever?" She hissed at him, not wanting to be mean, but was just being precautious.

 

Rik looked over his shoulder moving slowly, "If you must", Rik said sounding just as gloomy as he did the last time he spoke. He was so depressing, just his presence was.

 

Katheline sighed, putting her head down. She picked her feet up, where her knees were to her face. She then put her arms around her knees, and put her head down. Ferocious meowed worriedly as she jumped onto the Fountain walls, rubbing against Katheline's sides.

 

Melissa ran the rest of the way through the village, with the toddler in her hand. She was in need of a good hunt, but the toddler would have to do. The forest was in view, and she ran to the edge, holding the screaming little girl. her instincts told her to kill her, and feed off her, but in her mind, she was trying to put her down. She didn't move an inch.

 

Blade had followed Mellissa and was right behind her. He held a katana and pointed it at her "drop the girl right now" Blade said

 

"But why should you have if she originally said that she wasn't the princess...." Ita said, thinking back to her cry for help when she ran to Grey just so that way Ita would be distracted. "As a matter a fact, she said that she wasn't a princess"

 

Melissa turned around, her instincts instantly made her hiss at him.
"Go away!" she shrieked.

 

Seth griped his katana tighter his face showing no fear. "I will go if you leave the child alone" Seth said calmly

 

She took off into the forest, ignoring the little girl's cries.

 

Blade began to chase her getting his sword ready to attack her. Being an elf he was very fast

 

She looked back, seeing him running behind her. She cackled. Being a vampire, strength and speed were her greatest abilities. She made a jump into a tree, biting into the little girl's neck.

 

Blade jumped straight at her and then took out the broadsword on his back and raised it up "damn you" Blade yelled and then swung his sword downwards

 

She jumped to the side, her teeth still sunk in the little girl's neck. She finished up and broke her neck, putting her out of her pain. She tossed her dead body aside, and her eyes changed. She felt normal now. She shook her head, seeing Blade.
"Who the hell are you?" she asked.

 

Blade simply pointed his huge sword at her and with the other hand pointed at the girls body "that was your doing" Seth said calmly
