There's No Sympathy For The Dead.

Bliss made it to the highway in the opposite way, and no one was on it. At all. There were a few parked cars in the middle of the road, but that was all. She pressed the gas more, and it roared more. They were going about 100 now, and if she braked, her face would be on the window. Her tears rolled down face, and she sniffled. She held it in for too long.

 

"Bliss?" Tessa's whisper was soft. "What's wro-" she cut herself off. She'd tell us if she wanted. She thought.

 

Bliss shook her head, and stepped off the gas pedal. She wasn't supposed to act like this... She dried her tears, and began to drive again.
"What, girl?" She said, as she remembered her saying her name.

 

Tessa shook her head. "Forget it. By the way, I'm Tessa." She oh-so-helpfully informed her.

Kazuki waited by a road, "I guess i'll hitch hike", He joked not knowing that a jeep was around.

 

Tessa saw a man up ahead. "He needs a ride." She assumed out loud, not really expecting anyone to listen.

 

Bliss saw a man on the road, and he didn't look infected. She stopped, and rolled down the window.
"Need some help?" She said, looking uninterested.

 

"Oh hey, can I get a lift?", Kazuki asked, he was obviously Japanese even by his accent.

 

Bliss looked him over, and heard his Japanese Accent. She sighed, and nodded towards the back.
"It's getting full in there," She said, but put the Jeep in park.
"Get in." She said, looking ahead.

 

"There's room by me." Tessa said scooting over.

 

"Thanks", Kazuki said hopping in the jeep next to Tessa.

 

"Tessa. You?" She said to the newcomer, inquiring his name.

 

"Kazuki", he said looking at the others faces and finishing on Tessa's.

 

Bliss put the car into Drive again, and began to drive. She stepped on it some, when she saw dead bodies on the other side of the high-way.

 

Tessa grimaced at the dead bodies.

 

Kazuki looked at the bodies not showing what he was thinking.
