The war of Humans and Elves.

She shook her head, seeing he was an elf. She took a slight breath and stood up.
"I need to go," she said, quivering.

 

"You need to rest." he said. "I just rescued you from a wolf attack."

OOC: I'm trying to get on msn.

 

"I'd rather take my chances with the wolves than an elf," she said, worrisome in her tone.

 

"Why are you afraid of me? I've done nothing but help you." he said.

 

She shut her eyes, memories grazing through her head.
"Long story," she simply answered.

 

"Well, I won't do anything to harm you." he said. "If I was going to, I wouldn't have waited for you to wake up."

 

She shrugged with a scoff.
"You could always wait for me to wake up and hear my screams," she frowned.

 

"I'm not like that." he said. "I'm a peaceful elf. I only fight to protect the peace."

 

Eva watched, surprised. "You don't have to do that!" she protested. "I lost your money, I'm sorry. I just...you were making more, and I had nothing and I needed some way to get food and..."

 

"Don't worry about it Eva." he said. "Think of it as helping you for helping me."

 

Eva smiled shyly, then nodded. "Okay....then thank you."

 

"No problem." he said. "Now lets get out of here."

 

Eva nodded, picking up her bow and slinging it over her shoulder. "Can we avoid cities?"

 

"I have a question for you..." Ireth said quietly. "Why are you helping me? You could've just left me to fend for myself against that one guy... am I right?" Her eyes glanced over at Grey to see his reaction to the question.

 

"If that is what you wish. From now on, I will serve you." he said.

 

Eva shook her head. "I would rather we just be friends?"

 

"Whatever you wish." he said.

 

Eva smiled slightly, then hugged him. "Friends." She stretched, then looked around. "We probably can't run very far, we'll need horses."
