The war of Humans and Elves.

Eva shook her head, then grinned, running deeper into the woods. "Catch me if you can." her voice floated behind her.

 

"Don't give me that," Nox yelled.

 

A laugh could be heard from the forest. "Well you can't have me!" Eva ran faster, laughing. She loved this.

 

He floated beside her. "If he catches you, you're dead."

 

Eva nodded, weaving through the trees. "Too lazy to run?" she commented, ducking a low branch.

 

Nox casted a spell at Eva's leg her boats increassed in weight.

 

"No. I just prefer flying." he said.

 

Eva laughed, then tripped, tumbling to the ground. "Damn magic." she cursed, reaching into her bag.

 

He landed next to her. "I can still take him out." he said.

 

"I can fend for myself." Eva murmured, grabbing another potion.

 

"Whatever you say." he said.

 

Nox ran up to her and Grabed her potion, "No. Now give me my money."

 

He put his hand on his katana. "Just say the word." he said.

 

Ireth felt like she was in a corner now. Two of the three guys that had followed her earlier were in the shop now. She adjusted her fingers on her staff, eyeing each of them carefully. I know what one of them wants, but what does the other one want....? She let them do the talking, waiting for them to get on with their dicussion.

 

Eva winced as the potion's fluid burned through the magic, also burning away some of the skin on her ankles. She stood up, trying to tune out the pain.

 

\"Just say the word.\" Merlock said, ready to strike anyone down.

Arwin frowned a little. \"It\'s very rude to whisper things when someone else is talking to you.\" he said.

 

Eva winced, leaning against a tree. "Why do you care so much?"

 

\"Because you remind me of myself when I was young.\" he replied.

 

"Oh..." Eva slowly took a step, and winced. "Damn all magic to hell." she muttered.
