The Orphanage

Aly stood up, then cast an entire image around the protection Kaylee was drawing. The image was of guards instead of children walking down the hallway. She took a deep breath, struggling to hold the image. "Alright, let's go."

 

"They were impressed with my skill. I managed to hide away from them for a long time and their guards were having too much trouble with me so they decided to hire me instead of capture me" Ren said and looked down at her "why do you ask is it because you want to be a guard as well" Ren said

 

Elevir paused for a moment, remembering the harm the guards had caused to her... and her life. However, with a sickly feeling in her stomach, she gave a nod, and a half-hearted smile.

 

"You shouldn't want to be one. Being a guard is something you won''t be able to handle" Ren said

Seth managed to awake after a while still a bit dazed though.

 

"I really think I could, if I was given the chance," she responded.

 

"You could physically but I don't think you can mentally" Ren replied calmly as they walked down the halls

 

"Everything else that's happened to me in the past week; I've been able to withstand that..." she spoke.

 

"when being a guard you can't gain any forgivness for what you are ordered to do" Ren said

 

"You think I wouldn't know that?" she hissed, angrily. Then, she paused for a moment, looking in a different direction. "Sorry," she finished.

 

Rek walked over to Famous and rested a hand on his shoulder. "You, go. Stay with your friend, i've got a more destructive gift anyhow." He said to him, smiling.

 

Kaylee stood up and slowly made her way towards Aly, tilting her head a bit and yawning slightly. Using her gift to such an extent made her feel tired, but at least it worked. She nodded slightly towards the girl.

 

Aly smiled, then watched the other girl, concerned. "Are you sure you're alright?" she asked, waiting for the key man to try and open the door.

 

Ren looked at Elevir and put his hand on her shoulder and looked at her "Lets go meet the director. I have a new recruit that I want to enlist" Ren said

Seth looked around the area and at everybody else "where am I?" Seth said

 

Kaylee gaze towards the girl before nodding. "Tired." She stated plainly before glancing at Scott and tilting her head a little. "Are you going to open the door...?" She blinked a bit.

 

OOC:// If Legend froze time around them, they wouldn't need to hide themselves xD. Everyone else is frozen in time around them. And try not to do much outside of the people frozen in time, otherwise there'll be a huge time paradox. Lol.

Oh btw, Famous is a guy.

IC:// "Let it be enough to reach the truth that lies across this new divide....

across this new divide..." Legend finished.
"Hey... I would have told you earlier, but I could have created a time paradox or something if I interrupted the song.... Well, anyway, when I freeze time, I can do anything I want and no one can do anything about it. It's the same for you right now. No one can see us or hear us. You'll notice... it's kinda creepy at first, but everyone's almost like... a statue," the young girl explained, "but at least we won't have to worry about the guards."

Famous laughed briefly.
"Ah, it's too late to follow her. Maybe we can work together; Legend said there was someone coming." He paused to shoot a stray glance at the
entrance. "You'd be surprised how destructive lightning can be."

The sick feeling still present in her stomach, Elevir nodded, smiling softly.

 

Aly watched the two, Famous and.....Legen? Legend? That was it. She smiled, then turned to glare at the key guy. "Open. The. Damn. Door."

 

Rek grinned, removing his orb from his pocket. "We should find out what they want first. Don't want to go blowing walls apart if they're just coming to give us some rude remarks.

"Sure," Famous agreed. He still wasn't going to let his guard down.
Legend wouldn't have predicted it, he thought, unless it was something important....

 

Aly was going to say something else, then stopped. "Does anyone else hear that?" she whispered, clenching her fists. Suddenly a bird was on her shoulder, twittering.

"I hear it too, Aly." Eva whispered in her ear. "Don't worry, we aren't crazy."
