The Orphanage

Christina hesitantly gave him a short nod, making sure that Sam was close behind before she began walking down the hall. It felt awkward and foreign being so close to Kendrith. No, being close to anyone at all. Normally it wouldn't have bothered her, but she couldn't ignore the strange knot in her stomach as they walked.

"Hmph."

 

Aly looked over at the woman and man walked away from her. They looked important....she grinned, projecting the image of a girl with red eyes following them.

 

Ren began to run to the side as the fireballs hit the walls. Ren immediatly began to throw knives not at Rek himself but at his crystal ball

 

"So what is the body count christina? how many have we lost today?"

 

Christina thought about it, counting in her head. "All in all, including both facilities...About 50." She finally said.

 

"And how many of them have we taken down? we have to have killed at least a few by now."

Kendrith stroked the handle of his gun delicately.

 

"Only ten." She said, continuing to walk.

 

Kendrith looked at his pager

"Make make that eleven. Just killed an enticer called wolfe."

 

Christina grinned.

"Oh? Well, very good then. Eleven. "

 

Kendrith looked at the guards in their squad

"What are they armed with? I don't want to see the elites using nightsticks on these beasts."

Christina walked.

"Guns, of course. Nightsticks as well, though."

 

Kaylee turned to him, her eyes wide. She nodded and quickly moved back, propping Reiji up momentarily against the wall.

"I don't know what to do...Will you help me, Scott? Help me get him somewhere safe..." She murmured softly.

 

"O-oh...Uhm..." Kaylee looked down and thought to herself quietly, brushing some hair back behind her ear. She thought for a minute. "What do...you want?" She asked.

 

Kaylee resisted the shy urge to move back a bit, staring up at the man quietly. For some reason she could feel herself tense up, getting nervous. She looked down quietly before looking back up again.

"S-Scott...?" She tilted her head.

 

OOC:// Dayum, I missed a lot. I don't want to create a time paradox or anything x.x. Should I just continue from where you guys left off and hope it's not too awkward? Or should I wait for Legion? xD

 

"Thats good. I don't want us to be throwing marshmellows at dragons."

Peering down the corridor, Kendrith saw the escapees.

"There they are! decimate them!"

 

OOC:It's an orb that fits in my pocket .-. It's quite small and my hand is closed around it, maybe say you're aiming for the hand that's holding it instead?

Rek quickly tucked the hand holding his orb behind his back, the knives grazing his forearm and shoulder instead. "Damn, that hurt!" He said as he launched another volley of five fireballs at Ren.
