Sam looked up at the Director with a small smirk.

"Oh, really?"​

 

"Well that and you also get a bigger gun."

 

Eva whimpered, coughing. She rolled off of him, shaking her head. Slowly shifting to human form, she pointed to the wall behind. "Death trap." she choked out.

 

Reiji smiled at the animation, the wrote: 'I can't wait to see you outside this hell hole'

Sam didn't know what to say to that. A bigger gun? Would that be better? His eyes turned to the floor again and he set the gun down on the table hesitantly.

"Y-yeah...A bigger gun..." He sighed and looked towards the wall silently before glancing back at the Director with a slight nod. He understood. He straightened up in his chair and took a deep breath.


Kaylee smiled back, though feeling broken. She shook her head slowly and looked down, placing a hand on the cold cell down and pressing her forehead against it as her eyes closed. She felt cold; so cold...She just wanted to help...She was overwhelmed by all of this.

Her eyes darted nervously behind her. She heard footsteps. And not the timid ones of the prisioners, no. Guards. She lifted her eyes to the cell again. No! This wasn't the time for them! They had gotten so close! So close!

She felt herself shaking, clenching her fists against the cell door and dropping to her knees in front of it as tears began to form in her eyes. Though these weren't the sweet tears of silent wondering she often shed. No, she was angry. She hit the cell door with her closed fists and continued to cry there. They had to get him out! She promised! Kaylee let out a whimper and limply collapsed to the side, sobbing. She curled up, holding her knees close.

"N-no..." There had to be something they could do. She laid there. "No."

Christina leaned back against the wall coldly, her arms folding across her chest. Guards moved in quickly, searching for any prisioners. There had to be something done. The prisioners were losing their fear. The Guards quickly searched for anyone out of place. They would be taken back to their cell's and dealt with one by one.

She peered down the Hall. The only one the guards hadn't reached yet. The one with that boy, Reiji's cell. There was a group there. She giggled, sickly. How sad. The guards began to close in.

 

takeshi froze looking at the wall then grabbed his stick turning to her
"come on lets get outta here" he said grabbing her arm

 

Eva nodded, stumbling after him. "Why can't you see what's already there?"

 

"How bout we go on a little trip Sam? we have some things we have to get done before the paper work."

 

Seth looked at Kaylee and kneeled down next to her "come on we still have time" Seth said as he put his hand on her shoulder

"no there is no more time left for your time is up" said a cold and dark voice. Walking up to Seth and Kaylee was the elite guard known as Ren

 

Sam nodded and stood up from his chair. "Alright."


Kaylee glanced up at Scott, a worried look on her face as he vanished. A strange coldness engulfed her as he left, and she wondered why. She straightened up against the cell wall and stared blankly at the floor as she listened to Rek. What was really the use? Scott had bought them time though. She stood, shakily with a slight nod. And then she heard Ren. She froze.

 

Seth was surprised at the sound of Ren's voice. He slowly turned his head to look at Ren "please run" Seth said to Kaylee and Rek as he got up and faced Ren

 

Kaylee groaned and stayed foolishly where she was. She was so tired of running. So tired of it! She started shaking again.

"..."

 

Rek pulled his orb from his pocket and readied his power. If there was a fight, he would make sure to give Ren a few good burns to go home with.

 

Seth stood where he was and ran straight towards where Ren was and sent a punch staight at Ren.

Ren immediatly caught the punch and then pulled Seth towards himself and sent his knee into Seth's stomach knocking him down "you thought you can read my moves but you were wrong. Your gift need alot more work" Ren said as he looked down at Seth who was on the ground.

 

Kaylee flinched and stepped forward hesitantly, kneeling beside Seth quietly and keeping an eye on Ren.
"Please...Don't try to fight him...P-please..."

 

Rek kept his eyes on Ren, a small fireball growing in his hand. Once the ball of fire grew to about the size of two baseballs, he threw it at Ren, aiming for the center of the chest. He continued to throw two more baseball sized fireballs at his stomach and face.

 

Ren walked up to them "You cannot escape this place not now with those skills" Ren said looking down at Seth "you can't even read my mind" Ren said taking out his sword and slashed the fireballs away "pathetic" Ren said
