The Orphanage

Sam's eyes widened before it registered to him what he was doing. He quickly leaped out of his chair, dropping his notebook and shattering his glasses.

"Oof!"




"Everything...?" Kaylee repeated, ripping out a piece of paper from her sketchbook and sliding it into his cell along with her pencil. Her eyes showed sympathy, a frown on her face. "Reiji..."

 

"Impressive, you were able to dodge that. Again I'm sorry for all of this. If I didn't do this you'd never be ready for what is ahead. Now pick a gun out of the closet."

 

takeshi grunted
"then ill just cut my way out" he said raising his blade again

 

He stood behind Kaylee, examining the door. "Hm......I wonder how we could open this....." He glanced up at Kaylee. "I'm sorry, Kaylee, but if we can't blow this door off or animate a key, then I think we may not be able to get him out at the moment. However, if those two methods, or any other ones we think of, don't work...I heard of this kid who can manipulate aura into anything, which means he may be able to unlock it. I only say these things as an alternative to taking a guard's keys. Even if Scott could stop time so we can pluck them off his belt, he can't keep it up forever and the guard would probably notice."

 

Eva quickly shifted to wolf and snarled, her golden eyes glowing. Her hackles raised, she backed up a step, ready to attack.

 

takeshi looked at her
"not you the walls baka" he said looking around to make sure that the guards werent coming

 

'Damn it, they really need to keep better watch of that excuse for a Dinner Hall,'

Elevir heard the frustrated voice in her head. A guard. Not far from where they were. She could tell from the clarity of the voice. He'd probably called more.
"There's a guard coming... maybe more." she stated. She closed her eyes and held her knife in her sweater pocket, awaiting the guards.

OOC:// Hey guys, I don't want to boss you around or anything, but I don't think it'd be as simple to kill a guard as some of you've been making it.

Also, NeoJecht, you might want to add a little more detail to your posts so that mistakes like that don't happen as much. I misunderstood that as well until I read your last post xD.

 

Reiji scribbled on the page:

'I'm extremly tired, I might be able to do one animation. Did you bring more people?. Guards are coming around my cell more often, so if you're gunna do something please hurry.'

He forced the paper and pencil through the slot

 

Larz stared at elevir. Why did she seem so distant? she seemed so close, so near. In an act of getting her attention, the manic poked the girl with his nose.

 

Eva shook her head, still growling, then launched herself at him, snarling. She could see what he couldn't.

 

Seth crossed his arms and looked at the cell thinking of a way to get Reiji out of it. Seth continued to think until something strange happened. Suddenly Seth began to hold his head in pain

 

"Larz, we need to go, the guards are coming." she spoke almost silently, only hoping that he understood.

 

Larz did't understand why they had to leave, but followed none the less. She made something like a bad sound and more would come if he didn't do what he was told.

 

Kaylee shook her head frantically, her eyes wide as she looked up towards Scott. "No, I promised!" She took the paper out and read it quietly, pressing it against the cell door and scribbling back.

'We'll figure something out.' She slid it back in after drawing a small animation of Reiji and her walking out of the cell happily. She smiled towards him before turning back towards the others.

"What...What do we do?" She asked breathlessly.


Sam stood up and walked towards the closet. He pulled out a small pistol, holding it with disdain and walking back to his seat.

"Yes, sir?"

 

Seth immediatly dropped to his knees "wh-whats with all the screams of pain. Make it stop" Seth said as he held his head with his eyes shut tightly. Despite what he said there was nobody screaming

 

takeshi felt his stick fall out of his hand as she landed on him the blade retracting
"what the heck?" he asked struggling to push her off him

 

"Do you think that will protect you Sam?"

 

Sam looks down with a sigh at the pistol, his eyes fixed on the small weapon quietly.

"Has it ever...?" He spoke softly.

 

Seth got back up to his feet and looked up at Kaylee and Scott "we have to get away from here" Seth said still holding his head. he was using the wall for support
