I know it's pretty standard procedure for comics to kill off a character and bring them back a few issues down the road. Marvel's so ridiculous about this because they have a literal embodiment of the Phoenix. And even the 'yep, no questioning it, these guys are dead' characters have been coming back.

Also I tried watching S.H.E.I.L.D but I don't know if it's because all the characters blended together or the plotline was weak but I didn't stick with it. I also don't like the possibility of Ward being Taskmaster because that makes Zero sense given Taskmaster's unique skill set.

It was more Whedon's general attitude of the whole thing that irked me more than anything else.

And still irked of the lack of Black Widow merchandise compared to the male Avengers. And Scarlet Witch is probably not going to have any merchandise. Meanwhile there's Captain America, Iron Man, and the rest in droves.

I mean I sympathize with people who want their female characters to be represented better outside of the films, but from a purely marketing standpoint, you have to realize that whoever holds the licensing to produce the toys is going to make more of what will sell, so of course Iron Mans and Captain Americas are going to be more prominent on the shelves when you consider that the primary demographic they're appealing to is little boys. If there's zero Black Widow stuff, then yeah that's a real problem, but I haven't been down a toy aisle in a long time so I wouldn't know.

Scarlet Witch should get merchandise, even if it's not much I'll totally but all of it.

This sounds a whole lot like a repeat of a rant I did when TRON:Uprising and Young Justice were cancelled. So I will politely decline for a repeat performance.

But I will say that when a show marketed toward young girls is pretty much taken over by young adult to middle age men, it's praised. Yet when a show marketed toward young boys is enjoyed by young adult to middle age women, then it's cancelled.

i doubt they cancelled a show because "girls were watching"
and mlp isn't exactly held in high regard by anybody outside the fanbase

green lantern was literally cancelled because the toys weren't selling.

ive not seen any of it

it breaks my heart to see Bruce Timm work in 3d, so i've avoided it. which is not to say that it's a bad show, just not something I've warmed up to.

    I.
    LOVE.
    AGE OF ULTRON

I mean, I can easily see and understand everyone's complaints, but I didn't feel any of them personally. It was exactly what I wanted out of a superhero movie

Can I also just say WOW to how well James Spader did as Ultron's voice actor? Like damn. I want to see what else he's in now.

I think everyone in this movie did really well as their characters! Elizabeth Olsen killed it as Scarlet Witch. They had such good casting choices for this film. Ultron was silly enough that he wasn't annoying, and the whole time he screamed "daddy issues" with Tony but I think that made it funnier.

A new Pokémon game will be announced soon.

I can feel it in my bones.

I am pumped for sure, and as much as they DON'T need to make something that is stupidly more impressive than usual....I really hope it is. I mean, it sounds stupid greedy to ask for such a thing, but in all honesty I want to be "wow'd" really hard by them again.

just gimme Z. do it. do it.
of each generation that's had a third installment named after some arbitrary color or gem, this is the only one where there is an inherent triad that should be capitalized on. X,Y,Z. make it happen.

    what do you mean specifically
