Okay, show of hands: who's Post Here thread spawned the idea of a KHV story based off it? OH THAT'S RIGHT, MINE DID!

No we're not, we are discussing which were the superior trends. It's kinda like debated which was better: Coke or Pepsi. The answer is obviously Coke as is the obvious answer that Post Here threads were the best trend.

We went to this restaurant in the heart of downtown Richmond that's supposed to be like an English pub or something, I don't know. Apparently it was made with some degree with authenticity and owned and managed by an English family, and it was one of the best dining experiences of my life. It was really cozy. It had this beautiful open-air lobby with a fountain and-- you know what, I'll just post pictures.

    I didn't take these

I was really impressed. So much so that I took to posting about it on the internet.

I can't not hate anything new fob puts out. Immortals is up on tpb and it's so... ugh.
People will like it and I certainly like it more than Centuries, but with this I'm giving up on liking fob post-2008. My reaction to SR&R was that it wasn't what I wanted, but depending on the direction fob went after, I could overlook it and they could be redeemed. I now see that the direction SR&R went is the new direction for the band period, and I don't want any part of it.

This weekend or next I'm locking myself in a room and learning fighting games. Finally.

    -Street Fighter III: Third Strike
-The King of Fighters '98: Ultimate Match
-The King of Fighters '02: Ultimate Match
-Marvel vs Capcom: Clash of the Super Heroes
    -Marvel Super Heroes
    -Marvel vs Capcom 2
    -Mortal Kombat
    -Mortal Kombat II
    -Ultimate Mortal Kombat III
    -Darkstalkers' Revenge
    -Dark Stalkers 3
    -Garou: Mark of the Wolves
    -Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown

Debating adding Samurai Shodown II and NeoGeo Battle Coliseum

The goal is NOT to master all of these games. That'd be dumb. And impossible. The goal is to recognize patterns between games so I can enter other games in the genre easier, find a playstyle, learn to read combo lists, learn to perform combos with a pad reliably, and learn just how to... behave in the genre from things like movement and approaching a new game.

    PEOPLE GONNA GET BEAT DOWN

    FAQS:

    WHERE'S SMASH?

It's... not the same as the type of games I'm trying to learn.

    SKULLGIRLS?

    Shut up

    Guilty Gear?

NOVA YOU'RE NOT ALLOWED IN HERE

WHY ARE THEY OUT OF DATE

UHHH EXCUSE ME? OUT OF DATE? Beeeetch, these games are from the glory days of Dreamcast and NeoGeo. It was a time where you were first to get dessert by walking over a trail of defeated siblings. Plus, SNK and Capcom always made really interesting stuff back then and SEGA's VF5U is really interesting to play as it takes the idea of getting into your opponents head and applies it to 3D space.
