The Cursed Ones

Alaric kept walking focusing the fire at the tip of his finger. He then quickly made it vanish.

 

"What's with the song?" Alaric asked, interested.

 

"Ok then..." Alaric looked at the sky. "Well...do you know any of the names of the stars?" He asked not knowing what to say anymore.

 

Alaric started looking around in all directions. I keep feeling that Death is near...he must be messing with me.

 

Alaric walked slower looking at the ground. He started summoning his flaming blade back. "Be on your guard. Death is coming."

 

Alaric stopped and started looking around. "Where are you?" Alaric lit his other hand and held it up to give the others more light to see. Something doesn't feel right... "No...he's not alone this time." Alaric could feel more than just Death coming. There were more angels with him. Alaric felt them starting to cross over and fell to his knees in pain.

 

"What's wrong with demon boy over there?" He asked trying to hide his pain. It probably didn't work because he started shaking uncontrollably. "Too...many...you need to...run." He said barely being able to speak. This pain was worse than any other time before. How many angels is he taking? Alaric yelled in pain. They would be here in a matter of seconds.

 

Alaric's power actually increased a hundred fold for a few seconds. It was the most painful thing he had experienced. Alaric screamed in pain then fell to the ground exhausted and with no strength left. "Did you like that power overload Alaric?" Death asked. Death had brought about 30 angels with him. "I can't believe that you survived us coming here. Even for you that is amazing." Death summoned his scythe. "But now it is time for you to die." Death looked at Tegoshi and smiled evily. "Wow...another victim is here. Who is this new face?"

 

"Not like I care. He will soon be another addition of my list of people I have killed." Death said still smiling. "With Alaric almost unconscious I can stay and play with you much longer." Alaric tried standing. "I can still fight you know." He said as he almost fell back down. Too bad I won't be able to use my powers...I wish Death hadn't destroyed that other weapon I had.

 

Death opened his hand and absorbed it. "Don't think that pathetic magic like that can hurt me. You must be stupid. I am millions of years old! I know every trick in the book! Come on...try me." Alaric looked at Death. "That may be true...but you were never much of a fighter. Tegoshi...I think that you should handle fighting the other angels. They aren't as annoying." Alaric knew the other angels...he was angry that they would betray him like that. They are supposed to be helping me not trying to kill us all!! Alaric ran towards Death trying to punch him but with almost no strength left Death could easily dodge it. "Sharix maybe you should run." He said after attacking Death.
