The Cursed Ones

"Good." Alaric said getting a little annoyed. "What are we going to do after this? Should we split up for now? I go after Lucifer and you go after that group of idiots?"

 

"Maybe...but Lucifer will find me sooner or later. I guess I'll take him out when I get the chance, but first...I need to learn to use my new powers if I'm going to actually want to survive a fight with him." Alaric said. Hopefully I can actually control it.

 

Alaric looked back at Sharix for a moment and took a few steps back. I guess now is a good time to try and transform back. Alaric started reaching for his power again. I just need to focus...it should come to me.

 

Alaric felt it still there. When he tried reaching for it the power slipped out of his grasp. Come on! Maybe I need to remember what made me transform last time... Alaric just closed his eyes and tried again, feeling the power slowly come back.

 

Alaric blinked and his eyes were already yellow...he blinked again and they turned a silvery color. His hair started changing from it's usual black color to white. My vision is going blurry again...why can't I control it? Alaric fell to his knees feeling his strength being used up quickly in his transformed state.

 

Alaric slowly got back up noticing Ex was holding on to a sword. "What? Do you think I am going to hurt you? Or is someone else here?" Alaric asked with his vision becoming less blurry.

 

"Not like it would help you if I attacked." Alaric said his vision finally clearing up. "At least I can see again...I wonder what I can do in this form."

 

Alaric soon got over the feeling of his draining strength. "Maybe this isn't so bad after all." He quickly summoned a sword to examine it. The sword wasn't on fire. It was just pulsing with white energy. "Weird...not even burning. I wonder..." He tried summoning a flame in his hand but instead it just glowed with the same white energy as before. Very interesting...

 

Alaric continued to look at his hand. "I know...nothing like this has ever happened to an angel before, this power isn't even all mine. I can't stay like this for much longer though. It drains too much strength from my body." Alaric's vision was still getting better, better than before. His senses seemed to have expanded and increased. Now if only it didn't take so much strength to stay this way.

 

"Well...I guess I should see how long I last in this form. Maybe I can check to see if I can fly faster..." Alaric spread his six wings. They didn't look any different, they just glowed a little. "I'll be back soon." Alaric jumped up and flew into the sky.
