The Cursed Ones

"That narrows it down to almost every book. It would take you years to find anything partially important." Alaric said angry that Ex did not truely know what he was doing.

 

"The history you read has been changed to be more believable...anyone can put what they want in a book. I would suggest you looking at books that date back from 7000 years ago to 7500 years ago." He said.

 

"The thing is...you won't really find anything important. Other than a few pointless battle between the angels who stayed and the cursed ones...I think most of the uninfected mortals died anyways." Alaric said as he stretched his wings. "So many dead..."

 

"Cut what off?" Alaric asked still keeping his back to him.

 

"If there were any survivors they wouldn't know anything. Humans don't know much about the curse other than the fact a demon spirit resides in the cursed ones. Maybe it's about time I leave. I won't find anything important in a library full of useless books." Alaric said. The only thing I want to do right now is kill off Death and Lucifer...maybe by fighting them I might learn something useful.

 

"Tempted by what?" Alaric asked.

 

"I don't follow? Do you mean tempted to kill or tempted to go fight them?" Alaric said. "If you meant tempted to kill because of them then no." He answered.

 

"Being a hero? In case you haven't noticed I'm far from being a hero and I never want to be one. I'm no hero." Alaric answered.

 

"Maybe...it's just that this curse is just a mess I need to clean up that's all. After that I just want to kill Lucifer and Death and be done with it." Alaric replied. "Heroes are weak. They care too much." Alaric said getting slightly angry.

 

"Call it whatever you want. I don't care. I'm just here to clean up a mess that was mostly my fault." Alaric looked at the sky quickly. "I should go already..."
