There's no need to apologize. I don't know exactly what happened or what's going on with you, but there's definitely no need to apologize.
Like my previous post said, I put a plan in action to deal with your departure, but the plan was made to work whether or not you came back.
So I'm glad you're back and that's no problem at all! I just hope you're okay.

Name: Caitlyn Reed (goes by Cat for short)

Power(s):

• Mind Control ~ She's been able to control people fairly well with one exception: she can't command anything that forces the victim to directly take their own life (if they were to accidentally get hit by a bus, that's fine, but a direct suicide order is a no go). However, once she's had enough demon blood she can control them fully and she can even communicate through telepathy if the target is close enough.
• Premonitions ~ It's been a while since she went through the "headache phase;" she now knows it's coming when her vision starts to blur. Depending on how much adrenaline she's got pumping, she can still discern most things in sight (the more adrenaline, the less her vision is affected which is very handy if she's in the middle of a fight).
• Audiokinesis ~ To some extent, she is able to control sound waves. She can make people hear anything, from music to a scream. There are a few catches, however. She has to be at least a certain distance from them, there can't be a soundproof wall between her and her target, and she can only keep it up for a limited period of time (for up to four minutes non-stop), as this is the most draining of her abilities. With some demon blood, she can keep it up for double the time and her range is extended.

Background: After her mother's death, something in her father snapped. When she was young, he would always make sure to be there. Despite the lack of stability left in his life, he made sure his daughter would turn out differently. One day when she was six or seven, he took her on a trip to her aunt's house and he said he would be back after taking care of a few things. But he never came home, and her life crumbled without his support. Around the age of ten, she started to get splitting headaches and she'd even start seeing things. At one point she'd gotten into an argument with her uncle over school and she'd yelled at him to just leave her alone. He did just that, and it was a week before she was able to "convince" him to cut it out. They were kind enough to her, but they'd always seemed... afraid. She never knew why, but she'd always known that she was different.
And then, years later, Lenny came. He spoke of demons and ghouls in the night, and as much as she wanted to deny it, she knew that she'd never been normal, and that her only hope for acceptance was with him. When they arrived at the Roadhouse, for the first time since her father had "left," she felt safe. Even through the migraines and madness, she was accepted. And she swore that no matter what might happen, she'd avenge her family and help put an end to Azazel's cycle of suffering.

Personality: She enjoys the company of friends, but there are times where she likes to be alone. That said, she's kind-hearted, but hardly gullible; she likes to gauge people before she'll start to really open up to them, so at first she'll seem cold. She also likes to overanalyze things, both to make sure she doesn't miss any important details and so she doesn't have to worry about pushing things onto anyone else.

Background: Johnny's just a southern gentleman from Kentucky. His father was a hunter who was working a case when he blew into town and met his mother. His father and mother stayed in contact and he knew his father fairly well. Both his parents never wanted him to become a hunter, but knowing what was out there they taught him enough to protect himself. His father got ripped to shreds by a werewolf when he was 13. With his father dead his mother became paranoid, and learned a whole lot more about what goes bump in the night. She then was all 'Sarah Conner' when raising him, making sure he was prepared for anything. But she died when Johnny was 18, yeah smoking does kill kids. With nothing left for him and knowing how to kill about anything with anything, he left his home for a life of cheap Motel rooms, internet porn, and violence.
Personality: Johnny enjoys being a hunter. The fighting, the women, the traveling, and most of all the one liners, he loves it all. He's a big softie, willing to help anyone if they ask nicely. When it comes to the unnatural, he has a motto, 'Don't kill, then won't get killed'.

Favorite weapon: Smith & Wesson Model 460 he calls 'Sally', Sawed off Over and Under Shotgun, and a machete.

Name: Tenebris Etriosis Miller​

Power(s):​

• Trauma Illusions (Active)- Can turn anyone's most traumatic experiences into monsters. These monsters, can hurt others, but can be killed in a few strikes. The monsters size, strength, and fear that they induce vary to how bad the memory. Can also recall previously used monsters, either in battle, or recreation from a creepy story or an image. Uses an exceptional amount of Demon blood. Very effective against people who can't except the death of a loved one.
• Dead Ringer (Active)- Uses an overly amount of Demon blood. Any attack done towards Tenebris causes him to feign death by dropping a real-life corpse of himself, while he turns cloaked for a max of 15 seconds. This ability is useful for denying mortal and fatal wounds.
• Superhuman Strength (Passive)- Like other Acolytes
• Premonitions (Passive)- Like other Acolytes

Background: Tenebris's father died in a run-in with a Demon-possessed human. Thankfully, armed with urban horror stories and growling bloody murder from the death of his father, he created a monster that was created from the human host's memories, causing the host to fight against the demon and take off for his life. Since then, Tenebris had been getting by, inducing fear in others for either food or for work, or even for money. Lenny found him, in a local abandoned bar, asking for him to come along. Tenebris refused at first, but Lenny persisted. Tenebris even got far enough to nearly begin fighting with him, but as soon as he realized that Lenny was like him, he reluctantly agreed to go with him.​

Personality: A very cold, if not stubborn individual. He is also apathetic, only caring for his goals and not the goal of others. However, his attitude is entirely different towards his friends (If he has any). Is not afraid to kill anyone.​

Appearance: Tenebris​

Favorite Weapon(s):​

• Lever-action Scattergun(Smaller version of a shotgun, with a more, in-your-face perspective), with detachable, 65 silver-salt bullet, 20-gauge round cartridge. Can hold up to 6 shells in the barrel before the need to reload. Lightweight, and very easy handle.
• A reddish-magenta butterfly knife, with a rose on one of the handles, picked up by a local thug before Tenebris was found by Lenny. Uses it whenever he doesn't have his Scattergun.

Other: Utilizing a fake license, he drives a modded Mazda RX-8. Loves the night over day, especially nights with a full moon.​

 

@Cat: That's a...strange power (the audiokinesis). However, I like it. You're in~ Mind control and audiokinesis are very flexible powers so make sure to use them fairly against others.


@lord-insan-E-O: a)OMG, AN ACTUAL NON-ACOLYTE HUNTER? You're in. b)We're going to say that you're a friend of Lenny's. Just like in Sanction, I'll post an intro for you to come in. Let's say that Johnny doesn't really know about the Acolytes being part Demon, but he's heard rumors. Whatever he thinks of it (especially when he finds out) will be completely up to you; as will the details of his friendship with Lenny's (occasional hunters together? Lenny knew his parents? Saved his ass? Good friends? Regular of the Roadhouse's bar? Whatever). He shouldn't know anything about Azazel, though. c)I'm going to nickname you...Lord because I have to keep doublechecking exactly how to type your username.

@mindstorm: a)Dead Ringer and Trauma Illusions don't work. For one, they both actually create something which is too huge of a power with Trauma Illusions making a semi-living creature out of thin air. You can make illusions in general (both the corpse and monsters can be illusions, but not actual hard-matter things). b) The other Acolytes don't have super strength (enhanced strength is a stretch) except for Luce (stronger than others), Eliza (super strong), and Scott (his primary power is super strength). It's not a default power like premonitions and telekinesis. c) Invisibility works as its own power. d) So besides telekinesis and premonitions, try to keep only two other powers (Illusion and invisibility?), but your current two don't work.
Oh, also: This is my fault, but Tenebris can't have a car. The rule states that only one other Acolyte can have a car and Twilight_Nobody13 had claimed it for Luce. I just forgot to fix that in the rules. But...Luce's car was torched so there may be an opening for a new car...just not at the moment. And why does Tenebris need a fake license at his age?

Once mindstorm fixes his OC, I'll post adding all three of you in. We'll say..Tenebris and Cat joined with the other new Acolytes (Sophie, Eliza, and Zeke), but stayed behind with Lenny for whatever reasons because there wasn't enough room in the two cars. I hate doing it like that, but we're not going through introductions and "WHY DIDN'T WE KNOW ABOUT THEM BEFORE" again. On top of that, I'm capping Acolytes now~ At least for a while. So no more Special Children.

How much do you three know about the show? Just so I know how much information to give y'all throughout the RP.

I'm caught up on the show, and HOW DID I FORGET CELINE DEMON I THOUGHT I MADE A POINT OF POSTING IT DAMN.

But yeah, I won't go too crazy with the powers.

 

Metatron's "Tell me your story" speech was so...bonechilling. But Lieo it is (too lazy to capitalize everything).
Quick recap of the entire story besides what's in the first post:
Lenny leads the original Acolytes (Luce, Adam "Mulligan," and Scott). Alexis has been with them for a short time and has already settled into the life, but the others have been with Lenny for a few years now. Eliza, Sophie, and Zeke were recently found and while the other Acolytes are distrustful of the fact that they've not been noticed for so long, they have no choice to accept them. We are going to add Tenebris and Cat into that group for the sake of not going over introductions again. Anyway, Lenny heard about a certain artifact and sent the Acolytes there to pick it up, but Cat and Tenebris would have stayed behind because there wasn't enough room. On the drive, a red-headed boy appeared in Luce's car (all of the girls were driving together) and disappeared with Luce causing the car to crash without the driver. The boys found them, saved the other girls, and torched the car before escaping before the police could show up. Meanwhile, the red-headed boy turns out to be a Demon called Gaara from Luce's past that is obsessed with her and forces her to drink his blood. Due to a previous conversation with Luce, Scott guessed where Gaara was keeping her and the Acolytes tracked her down while Lenny did research (while watching over Tenebris and Cat). After the other Acolytes showed up to the abandoned cabin where Luce was being kept, Gaara disappeared. And....I'm about to post an intro for the new characters.

I knew that xD I almost didn't ask you to post how caught up you are because it's obvious, but yeah.

Everything here in this post is true. Especially the Sam part.

Ouch. Sounds hectic. At that point, if you return to this particular RP, your character may need a revised origin depending on where the story is, but we can work that out.
Curious, though: are you still going to be in any other RPs, specifically Heroic Sanction, or are just not joining new ones?

Unfortunately, Chrome Dokuro has withdrawn from the RP. For now, we're going to play it as her character (Sophie) was never with the Acolytes; just Zeke (Master of Keyblade's character) and Eliza (Midnight Star's character) were. However, whether or not Sophie existed in any way, I will address in my next post.

Background: Born in 1918 Germany, he had a simple farmers childhood nothing really note worthy. But when he turned 21 was the start of World War II, he and his two sisters fled Germany and traveled across Europe hoping to find some way to America. They finally did, but little did they know that the boat they got passage on was mostly filed with Vampires who were taking advantaged of the chaos at the time as a free buffet of blood. But instead of feeding on Erhard like they planned they instead turned him, and in the insuring uncontrollable bloodlust he ripped his sisters apart. When the Vampires finally decided to go to America, Erhard was already too far gone. When they arrived and after Erhard got a hold of himself and fought the bloodlust he took it upon himself to get revenge on the ones who turned him, he ripped their heads off with his bare hands. Unsure what to do, decided to go off by himself and maybe help some poor unfortunate souls that bare the same curse as him. But not before he took souvenirs from his former nest, their largest fangs and made a necklace of them, to remind him of what happens when you give into the bloodlust. In recent years he's been branded a traitor among the vampires and is constantly hunted by them, and the occasionally hunter. But he's learned how to out smart them over the years. There is only one person he trusts and that is Johnny.​

Personality: He is a surprising chill guy for a vampire that is. He doesn't like to kill humans unlike most of his kind. He mostly try's to make the best of his bad situation and tends to look on the bright side of things. He is a fairly honorable man. He hides his German accent well but will sometimes curse in his native tongue. ​

Appearance: Ignore the sword.​

Other: He feeds off of stolen blood transfusions or cattle blood.​

I've been wondering if anybody would take a monster. Last time I made the thread, someone made a wolf-like Demon in a similar role, coincidentally enough! But accepted!
