Save the Heroes

Gin walked back into the biggest room where Lightning was standing. He nodded to the chair behind her and went into the kitchen to get some water anyway. When he walked back in he sat down in a chair and pulled it closer to Lightning's chair.

"So what's your name, anyway?"

 

"Lightning." she simply responded turning her attention towards Gin. "Yours?"

Sarah stopped walking in the middle of the street, turning around and looking up at the rooftops of the buildings. Something didn't feel right to her. It felt as if she was being followed. She narrowed her eyes and continued to walk. Great...

OOC: By the way, congrats on making mod, Fayt.

 

Annaly slashed her sword at the Skull's back and swung him towards Leon, letting him give the final blow that would kill the Skull.

 

Leon punched the Skull with the force from his speed making the Skull's rib cage shatter on impact. The attack finished off the Skull and Leon dropped down out of the sky gently landing on his feet following the Skull's dead body. Straight away he walked over to where his coat and hat blew over to and put them back on gradually making his wind effect form disappear and return him to his otherwise human appearance.

"Gin." He answered, looking at her. Interesting name. "So where's it hurt, Lightning?"

 

"My whole left arm." Lightning responded, looking at her arm. "Then again, it's slightly gone numb."

 

Gin nods, putting on a pair of latex gloves and pulling out the equipment he needs. He started to look over her left arm and disinfecting where it needed and patching her up.

"So, how exactly did you get this?" He asked.

 

"I don't know if you've heard of them but I was attacked by something known as a Skull." Lightning answered. "Dangerous creatures that lurk around Manor searching for something to eat. Heard of them?"

 

With a grim look on his face, Gin nods. "Yeah, 'heard of 'em." He finishes cleaning and patching up Lightning's wounds and sits back. He looks at her questionably.

"How'd you kill it?" He asked.

 

Lightning pulled her arm back, looking at her patched arm. She put her glove back on, turning her attention back at Gin. "I have the ability to paralyze anybody with contact. I technically wasn't the one that killed it but...I did help." She lowered her head, standing up, looking towards the door.

 

Gin nods, standing as well. "If you'd like, you can stay. I'm not expecting anyone." He offered kindly.

 

"No. It's fine. I have my own things to do. Thanks anyway." Lightning walked past Gin, leaving his house. She looked around before taking off running.

 

Gin yawned and put everything back to where it was supposed to be. Another boring day, then. Though, he met a Hero today. Lightning... interesting. He stood in the doorway and watched the direction she took off in.

"See you later, Lightning. I bet we'll meet again."

 

Annaly landed back on the ground softly. She cleaned the blood off her blade and hitched it back on her back. "I forgot to introduce myself before. I'm Annaly." said Annaly. She went over to a nearby building and got her bow and quiver of arrows. She strapped the quiver on her hip an the bow back in its cloth sheath.

Sarah stopped walking, seeing someone leaning against a wall. She knew that person was the one that was following her. She lowered her head and began to walk past him. Could this get any better?

Void grinned, knowing Sarah already knew she was in danger. More fun for me. He got off the wall and kept a slow pace a few feet behind her.

 

Leon began walking away, "I'll remember your name for the next time", he said. With each step his form faded more until he was fully human looking again. He was lucky that his power worked out, someti,es he would get a form that was useless.

 

"Sure thing." Annaly grinned. She turned to walk away again, hopefully to regain a bit of her energy back before her next fight. "Well I'm going to rest up for a few somewhere before my next Skull encounter. Seeya." Annaly started to jog, when she was sure she was out of Leon's sight range she quickly darted into a dark alley and collapsed to the ground. It took a lot of energy to keep up the facade that she was alright but she was actually in mental pain. She kept getting sharp pains behind her eyes and at the back of her head.

 

Leon headed home. As soon as he entered the appartment he was renting for a while he dropped onto the couch, asleep. He was tired, he extended patrols today and with the added fight it made him tired since he broke routine.

 

Annaly curled up into a ball on the cold stone ground, she was starting to feel nauseated from the pain now and it was beginning to be mind-numbing. It was that moment that she realized what was going on, a dream catcher was in her thoughts.
