Yuki got away from Alaric, "Thank you" she said to Sky and ran off.

 

Vash picked up the scared kid and rushed a few meters away, placing them down under a tree hidden in some bushed he looked back. "stay here kid, don't make a sound"

Running back Vash grabbed Reiji and tried to keep him in one place. "You'll have to kill me to get to that kid, and I won't allow that"

 

Reiji smirks, then jumps into the trees, quickly picking a target. He spots a small animal and goes in for the kill.

 

"Damn it, I guess I couldn't stop you afterall....a least it's better that way..." Vash leans against a tree, keeping watch on Reiji, trying to ignore the small of blood all over.

 

Yuki hid behind a tree and shape shifted into part of the tree to disguise herself.

 

Reiji tears into the defense-less animal, feasting on its blood. His eyes slowly begin to turn back to its normal blue color.

Vash waited for Reiji to finish, then slowly walked a little closer "Are you back now?" he asked quietly

 

Reiji looks up, wiping the blood from his face " I'm sorry you saw that.."

 

"No, it's alright" Vash tried to think of something more to say, but his mind was a blank.

 

Yuki quit breathing when Alaric walked by the tree she was at I can't let him find me.

 

Reiji looks at Vash " You havn't left yet..are you staying with us?"

 

Yuki let out of breaths after realizing that she hadn't been breathing. She had to make a break for it, she turned into a squirrel and ran as fast as she could away from Alaric.

 

"...I'm not sure, after meeting you, I don't exactly want to leave. There's some things I want to ask you, as well as some of the others. Then again, I only happened to find you people by chance, This doesn't really have much to do with me, does it?"

 

Yuki helplessly flew in the air toward Alaric.

 

Reiji looks at Vash " Everthing happens for a reason....and you're a great fighter.." Reiji slowly starts to walk back. "So, what did you want to ask me.."

 

"Kinda have to be, with people after me every other night." Vash follows beside "I guess the first thing to ask is why was that guy trying to kill the rest of you?"
