.... Aren't you forgeting something? There is this guy (in Platinum in Pastoria city, in G/S & HG/SS in Cianwood and most likely in every other Pokemon game) who can make your Pokemon remember their forgotten moves. So the whole HM thingy is not a big deal actually.

Not only in the American culture. The whole western civilization considers black as the colour of evil and death and white as the colour of purity and good (although black and white are not colours but whatever...),though in Japan it goes vice versa (another reason i'm not sure if the good vs evil theory is accurate at all). Not everything has to do with racism people!

Actually, ethnicity and nationality play no part in race; we are all of the species homo sapiens, thus there is no fundamental difference. Everything else is just a superficial term superimposed on people who look different in times before we were able to make these crucial distinctions.

And besides, white people are pink and black people are brown, so we're pretty stupid about that to begin with
