Old People Thread

when are we playing League again or WoW ;c

 

I was 12 when I joined this forum.

I'm turning 20 next month.

I know I'm not "old" considering most people on here but coming to terms with the fact this forum has existed in my life for more than a quarter of my lifetime thus far is scary.

 

♛ Oh man, nostalgia thread, I love nostalgia threads. I decided to peek in at the right time. Remember when everyone used to think I was a guy? Like constantly no matter how many times I informed the masses, someone always thought I was a guy... I joined when I was 16, but didn't become an active member until a couple years later. Now it's hard for me to believe that I'm one of those people that ended up in the 'Most Missed' category. Jesus. I'm 23 now, married, finally have my life together, but no time for art or writing or crafts. #SadFace But we go to a lot of conventions now and we never did that before we moved out of state so whoop, I guess..

 

I've had so many names, but this was my first one... Anyone remember when my grammar was so bad, it caused another member to be banned because they made a call out post about it, as well as calling out other members? I like to think I've improved a lot since when.

Some of us tried and got walled hard, but I'm sure those who haven't tried don't even know they owe someone an apology. Things kinda flow like that around here- water just goes under that bridge and we're back to laughing.

I'm not old, but how much I've changed in a lot of people's eyes makes me feel like I am.

I mean @DigitalAtlas and I used to loathe each other- then we both discovered we dislike Twilight Princess's badly-written and rushed plot and from then on we've been civil

 

Site history huh...?
Well, as of two years ago today, I left the site for what I thought could be forever (people told me it wouldn't be).
But I was wrong (and they were right)...
I'm back guys. Hi! (First post in two years go!)

And well... I joined the site like 8 years ago or something like that? I was about 15-16 back then and I'm now 24. I graduated from University, and uh... got more jobs and stuff. I don't think I can say much else really. I'm much the same I guess, just my circumstances are different. I grew up I guess, as we all do.


Okay, some site stuffs:

I remember when Misty was/always is and forever will be 12.
I remember spdude (and his famous lack of activity), and him, Misty and RvR were the only admins. Heck, I remember the vbulletin days like I'm sure many of us do before the move to xenforo.
I remember when posts didn't count in the RP section. And it was a lot bigger.
Is sig of the week still a thing? I remember that. And it was totally cool.
I think there was something going on like KHV the Musical at one point? But I dunno what ever came of it.

And... Eh. I can't be bothered to keep going with this list. lol
To be honest, a lot of things have changed. And I mean not just since I joined, but within the two years I've been gone I notice a lot has changed. However, at the same time. It's still the same good old KHV. It's home.
KHV was always and has always been special to me. It's grown over the years, and I feel I have with it, even if I was gone these last two years.
I met many amazing people here, and I'm glad to see there are still a great bunch of said people still here. Others sadly are gone now from what I can see, but yeah. Maybe they'll return one day. I have after all.

Missed a lot of you guys. Hope you're okay with this old Bush returning.

...I also remember when we had rep, and how that changed to likes, and how we used to be able to like posts because you could see a 'like' button.
