Musical Plot Voting!

Hey guys. So as you all (should) know by now, we're currently finishing up the first phase of the musical. Yay. The next step is to start writing the screenplay. In order to do that, it's time to vote on the plot that will be used for the musical! Please read through all of the plots throughout and keep everything in mind before making your decision. ​

Please remember that the time spent further developing the plots was meant to wrap up the plots, so all plots presented are as they are with minor adjustments, so...also keep that mind. This is the plot we'll be working on for the rest of the year. This is important stuff! Vote responsibly! ​

First of all: these were all lovely lovely lovely and I enjoyed reading them (or, well, skimming yours Ashwin ;~; I tried and I got the major points I swear).

In the end I settled on Jayn's. It was a tough choice but I thought about it this way: both Jiku's and Janson's could easily be incorporated into Jayn's plot. The real life experiences of Aaliyah and the unbanned member can tie into their struggles on KH-Vids (a major theme of Jiku's), and struggling with depression (Janson) was also a sub-plot of Jayn's larger idea. Ashwin's was... a bit more unique, but I think definite elements can be pulled from it to flesh out and make the KH-Vids... place, in Jayn's idea, more unique. That was how I justified choosing one, to myself, though, hah. Borrowing elements from everyone and fitting it into the groundwork that Jayn has laid out. Because it's such a big project, so many people will work on it, and I think we can get everyone's ideas in there.

 

I've got to say I think I'd go with Jayn's. I just think that it's cool being able to make KH-vids a physical place as well as an internet site, and that in this scene there's so much stuff that could actually happen in real life, and I think it'd be something that'd be really neat to make real.

Yeah I know, not that great at pointing out why I like stuff, but it's not like I've been great at saying "why" anyways.

 

Even I'm gonna go with Jayn's, it was so much more developed from the get go (plus I can always develope my plot idea independently), and it's got a nice way of making it uniquely KH-vidian.
Sorry if I'm not making any sense, work is killing me X_X
