Kingdom Hearts; The Peter Pan Edition.

"Who are you?" Kairi asked the man, not daring to give her name yet.

 

Xenmas went with the gentleman routine further. "Me?" He asked astonished, fakeing a light gasp. "Why, I am the Captain of this ship of sailors who wish to escape the shackles of cruel humanity." Xenmas said politely, toneing down the fact he was actually the Captain of a crew of Pirates. "I am very trustworthy, and I only wish to make amends with the Lad Sora." Xenmas went on convingly. "Oh, how I've wept through nights without sleep, thinking about the poor Lad and how he despises us so; if only I knew someone who could tell him I bear him no ill will." He turned about and put his face in his hands, keeping one eye peering over his shoulder at Kairi.

Leon walked through the door to a hut made of odd-looking pieces of material called gummiblocks. "Cid? You there?" He called out. It was like a mini-garage in here, all bits of scraps and craft building materials lying about on benches, and the gastly stench of exhast fumes filled the air faintly.

"Eh?" Came a gruff southern voice from behind a smokeing, unfinished craft. A head popped up from behind it, looking displeased, until he saw who it was. "Oh, it's just you." Cid muttered as he came out from behind the machine, covered with grime and carrying a wrench. He sat down on a bench after clearing off some clutter. "What can I do ya for?" He asked gruffly, swipeing at his face with a hand, wipeing a bit of grime off his nose, and chewing on a toothpick.

"What happened here? It looks like we were attacked." Leon stated matter-of-factly.

Cid half-chuckled. "Sure were. You musta been concked out before the real action started." Said Cid. "The Pirates attacked."

"Then shouldn't we fight back?" Leon asked sternly, crossing his arms.

Cid swiped at his nose again with one hand. "I'm workin' on it." He noted gruffly. "Now leave alone. I'm busy." And just like that, Leon was pushed out of the hut and the door slammed behind him, the familiar sounds of bolts locking from within.

 

Kairi wanted to roll her eyes, but she saw that the man was still watching her. Of course she didn't believe anything; Sora said that the pirates were bad and she believed him. Something about this man didn't feel right.

 

Demyx kept digging what seemed like hours until he finally hit something. Happidly he danced about and pulled the chest up. Drawing out his sword, he slashed the lock to reveal the glorious treasure that Xemnas had hidden long ago. "I'm rich!" He screamed at the top of his lungs and began dancing for he felt he was floating on air. He didn't know that the chest was the captain's and it didn't faze at him all that he was stealing. He looked at the golden coins and placed a bunch of them on his hand watching them glimmer from the light.

Digging deeper in the chest, he snatched up a crumbled piece of paper and unrolled it which read Captain's Xemnas adventure with Sora and how he lost his finger. The treasure had once belonged to Ansem the Wise who was betrayed by Xemnas, and out of rage Xemnas had formed his own legion of followers, but now it belonged to the one who found it. "Axel will be so pleased with me, but the question is how do I get it back to the ship unnoticed?" A thought finally struck him as he summoned his sitar and began playing a tune. Water clones appeared and lifted the tresure chest off the ground and into the ocean. Using the dephs of the ocean as his cover, the treasure chest went unnoticed carried by the ocean's current back to the ship.

 

Riku drifted into a deep slumber, filled with darkness. Why was I born if I serve no purpose? he asked in his deep thoughts.

OOC: I kinda got in trouble with my 'rents, so I'll only be on every few days by sneaking on.

 

Xenmas felt a sharp ping inside his left temple. His mental ties to his treasure chest had been broken. Somebody had dug it up! And whoever did, would be gutted like a fish for sure, but first, he had to find out who did it. He returned to his calm demenour, and looked down at Kairi smileing with a warmth that did not reach his eyes.

"My dear, I am afraid I must end this discussion with you forwith." Xenmas said politely with a mock bow. "Mr. Saix will take you to your new quarters." And so he clapped his hands together, and Saix came dashing in through the door.

"You called?" Saix asked in his usual tone.

"Take the young madame to the barred cabin she will be staying in." Xenmas started out politely, but switched to his usual contempted voice towards the finish.

"Of course." Saix obeyed, grabbing Kairi once again by the wrist, and summoning his claymore just in case.

Saix left, and shortly after Xenmas grabbed a few devices, he left his cabin as well, locking the door and putting the key in his coat pocket.

 

The chest washed just underneath the ship where it was docked as Demyx had followed the current that led him back to the ship. Climbing up on the starboard side with a rope, he rolled over the ledge and onto the deck. "Axel! Axel I got to talk to ya now!" He yelled for his friend's name not aware that Xemnas was on the ship some where.

 

At that very moment, Xenmas was walking barely a yard away from where Demyx was running, watching Number IX ever so cautiously. Why is he in such a rush? Xenmas thought to himself. The question as to why Demyx appeared on deck just moments after Xenmas had felt the barrier around his treasure chest break was brough to mind as well. "Mr. Demyx. My quarters. Now." Xenmas commanded.

Below deck, Saix released his hold on Kairi's wrist inside a brig cell and shut and locked the door behind him. He was not stupid enough to leave the key within reach, so he put it inside his own pocket. He then turned around gracefully to face the prisoner. "A man with brown hair, bangs, and a mullet will be down here shortly to give you your first meal while in capture." Saix said calmly. He made it slightly clear Kairi would not be starved at least while in her cell, since they still needed her.

 

Demyx gulped for he had a feeling he was in trouble. Looking for Axel he tried to stall Xemnas until Axel showed up to hopefully save him from his unknown fate. "Uh... I will... but I just remembered something I had to do," he slowly backed away, his back hit a cabin of the ship. "Come on Axel. Show up already," he wished in his mind.

 

"Now! Mr. Demyx!" Growled Xenmas. Demyx was obviously hiding something, he could tell. "I have a job for you to do, immediatly, and you need to get to my cabin to get what you need to do it!" Xenmas activated an aerial-blade out of his left sleeve for intimidation.

OOC: I'm not trying to Godmod, just trying to cause a problem. You know, conflict.

 

(OOC: No not a problem. I love how Xemnas scares his men.)

Demyx was now scared when he saw the aerial blade and began to cower. "Ok right away," he ran to the Captain's cabin and hit the door for it had been locked. "Ow!" He moaned rubbing his head.

 

"Moron.." Xenmas muttered darkly as he approached the door, deactivated his aeiral blade, and unlocked the door useing the key. He opened the door with a creak. "In." He commaned.

Elsewhere, Leon was starting to ponder what Cid was actually doing in his house/workshop. Cid was an Adult after all, and could be trusted just as much as the pirates, as far as Leon was concerned. After walking in the opposite direction for a little while, Leon made his way back to Cid's workshop.

Inside Cid's workshop, Cid continued working on a large, smoking machine hidden under a large sheet. No matter how much he worked though, he couldn't this feeling some one was watching him. Was he hallucentaing? After all, this new machine was to be kept a secret, even from the lost boys, so that would be enough to cause the man's anexity.

"What a curious device." Came a cold, casual voice from behind him.

Cid wheeled about in a panic, waving his wrench in front of him. "Who's there?!" He called out. He couldn't see anyone in the darkness that loomed in the back.

A black-booted foot stepped out of the darkness, and followed by it a man of smallish stature, long turqoise hair, and an "X" scar on his face, his yellow eyes glistening. "We have needs for your services." Saix said plainly.

"I'd sooner crash in innerspace!" Cid hissed, attempting to strike the strange man, no doubt a pirate, in the face with his make-shift weapon.

Saix caught the blow with his claymore, and as the wrench clanged against the much larger weapon, the latter's spike's turned out, makeing the device ever so more deadly. "Before I get mad.-" Saix said matter-of-factly, lifting the claymore slightly and quickly to knock the wrench flying through the air to bang against the door on the other side. "-Come with me." Saix finished, his weapon aimed at the now helpless Cid, who was cowering on the floor.

Demyx quickly scrambled inside and sat in the chair that was in front of Xemnas's quarters. He told himself to remain calm, but he felt so nervous and begin playing with his fingers in his lap. "I wonder what he is going to do to me?" he thought sadly.

 

Kairi sat on the floor, shivering. Whatever this room was, it was freezing cold. Or maybe she was shaking because she was scared? It was probably both. The girl forced herself to her feet and looked around. There was no way to escape this room, no windows big enough to crawl out of, no weapons, no nothing. Only a bunch of boxes.

Suddenly, Kairi had an idea. She stacked up the boxes, trying to make it look casual. Then if she hid behind them, maybe the pirates would panic and think that she had escaped. Then she could run! It was a crazy plan, but it was her only hope.

 

OOC: Personally, I am liking the idea above me. Fresh. And logical, because Demyx is the one going to be ordered to go down there. Except it will probably take a while for you plan to go through, Saix is capturing Cid and there's no extra key.

BIC:

Xenmas grabbed a dingy brown bowl full of ham trimmings, bread, and biscuits, and handed it to Demyx forcefully. "We have a new prisoner. Be sure she don't die afore we can use her as a baragining chip or change her mind." Xenmas ordered, shooeing Demyx away. "To her, this'll probably look like some kind of......treasure." Xenmas finished, putting heavy emphasis on "treasure."

At that moment, in the Captain's cabin, a gateway to darkness opened and out walked Saix, a person unconcious in his arms.

Xenmas turned his head curiously. "You got the engineer?"

"As ordered." Saix grinned darkly, and left the room for the brig. When he came back up, he was stuffing yet another key into his pocket.

Xenmas gave a deep laugh. "It must of taken you awhile to dig that up." Xenmas said directly at Saix, who was standing in the doorframe.

Saix did not know why the Captain put emphasis on "dig that up", but nodded in agreement, and left the room entirely.

Xenmas then turned his attention back to Demyx. "ARE YOU STILL HERE??" He bellowed at the pirate. "By Kingdom hearts, you don't need a bloody map to find the brig." Xenmas went on. "If you stay much longer, I'll tell ye how Saix got the X Mark spotted on his face." Xenmas finished, glareing Demyx down.

OOC:
So many freakin' emphasises. When I read it back to myself, I began to wonder if I left anything out! 0.o

Also, Kairi, keep in mind Cid is now in the brig with you. If you can somehow wait for him to get up from K.O, he'd be RP conversation to you. I'm trying to not leave you totally kept away from the RP from now until you and Cid can be rescued, which is probably going to happen sometime soon, hopefully.

Kairi stopped stacking the boxes and went to sit against the wall, looking casual (as casual as she could, anyway). The door quickly opened and closed. A new man was in the room with Kairi. He didn't look evil, so Kairi went of to him and lightly tapped him on the cheek. "Hey, wake up."

 

Cid twitched at contact, slightly out of it at the moment. But luckily enough, only moments latter, his eyelids began to flitter just a bit, until they opened. He was still too tired to move anywhere though, as he couldn't even lift his own head to see who had just touched him. "Who...who's there?" Cid grumbled miserably in pain.

Leon finally reached the door to Cid's workshop to find it locked, so he knocked a couple of times periodically on the door. A couple more times, and Leon began to shou through the door. "Cid, you in there?" He called casually. No answer. Having no choice, Leon unclipped his gunblade from his side and swung at the door, causing it to blow to bits before his eyes.

Inside, it was totally dark...and eeirly quite. "C-Cid...?" Leon called out almost nervously. He was more concerned that something had had happened to Cid than afraid of what might happen to him. No answer. Leon turned-tail and ran to go get help. Something had had happened right under leon's nose, and he wasn't just going to stand by.

 

"I'm Kairi." The girl lift up Cid's head slightly so he could see her. "Who are you?"

 

"Name's Cid." Cid grumbled. The girl's name seemed familiar, then it clicked. "You're that new girl brought here, aren't ya?" Cid asked curiously, though in his usual gruff voice. "I'm on your side, 'cept you probably didn't see me much since I'm always working in my workshop in the Lost Boy's treehouse." Cid reassured.
