With the group on high damage output, Kaida threw a balloon spell and strike raid to distract Te Ka, moving it's head out of the way, the lava god looked back and barely winced at Baymax's rocket fist. Stratos was up as he provided a powerful bass boost causing the creature to scream out in pain. Kel followed up with a powerful Excalibur attack, with Maui making a powerful chomp onto the monster. With AJ at his max potential, he summoned a maelstrom of wind the powerful gusts of wind. Ta ka's lava was cooled by the intense pressure, causing the lava god to cool down.

Seizing an opportunity, Moana quickly looked at the heart of Te fiti before looking at Te Ka. The lava had cooled down enough for Moana to see a spiraled outline on Te Ka's chest. She held up the heart of Tefiti as a bright green glow emerged, getting Te Ka's attention. "Let her come to me," Moana told the ocean. The ocean parted a path for Te Ka as the lava god looked up in exhaustion. Weakened and withered, Te Ka charged the the baron path towards Moana. Walking with confidence, Moana walked along the same path to reconvene with her in the middle. "I have crossed the horizon to find you, I know your name. They have stolen the heart inside you, but this does not define you. This is not who you are, you know who you are," she sang. "Who you truly are..." The lava monster fully cooled down as it bent down to Moana's level. Moana pressed her face against Te Ka's cooled earthen face. Te Ka closed her eyes at peace, with Moana placing the heart onto the lava monster.

As she did, the rocks around Te Ka began to crumble, as beneath the molten core was a green giant goddess.
    "Te fiti!" Moana cheered happily.

Triton nodded at Luna's sentiment, ordering one of the guards to swim on ahead. "Ensure the palace guard protects the kingdom. No hostiles get past the gorge. The soldier nodded as he swam off ahead. With Triton capable of defending himself for the time being, he looked at the party as they swam off to Ursula's lair. "Please bring her back," he solemnly requested, his guards escorting him to the screams of peril in the kingdom. Sebastian tended to the concerned king as the party swam back towards Ursula's grotto. As they did, Aux thought about what Karina said regarding the Mortimer character. For some reason he just felt it was her ex or something for her to get so riled up about it.

Back at Ursula's grotto, the group swam up tot he sea witch who was looming over her bubbly cauldron.
"Well well... seems my little worms got the bait after all," Ursula grinned. "I always was a woman with an eye for a bargain..."
She snapped her fingers as Flotsam zapped Beuce's back before Jetsam quickly grabbed the trident and gave it to Ursula. "At last... it's mine!" she said, with a crazed look in her eyes.

"You got your prize. Now return the girl."
Ursula looked to the group and chuckled. "A deal's a deal. She snapped her fingers as a swarm of ink enveloped behind her, Ariel appearing back in mermaid form. Her voice has returned to her since the contract was broken. "N-no!" he cried out. "He was just about to kiss me... I was almost human..."
"Sorry princess, but you weren't meant for life on the land," Ursula said, zapping her into a cage.
"Hey! We had a deal!" Aux barked.

"I said I'd bring her back to the water! I never she'd go back with you!" she cackled. "That's the beautiful thing about contracts sweeties. There's always a loophole. And now..."
She used the triton to shoot the exit to her grotto, causing several rocks to close off their escape. "I'm going to be rid of you before taking my revenge on Atlantica! My poopsies have been watching you and I've learned so much about you. Frankly, I don't see why Mizrabel got defeated by you lot! But now that you're in MY ocean, I'm going to take back TWO princesses of heart!"
As this went on, Aux leaned over to Beuce. "Bad time, but... Who's Mizrabel?" he whispered to Beuce.

"Now prepare to meet your maker!" Ursula grinned throwing a potion into her cauldron. The potion bubbled as it switched a different hue of red.

With the winds of the vortex that AJ had conjured both parting the waves of ash and lava that smothered the sky, Stratos let out a sigh of relief as the battle had seemed to end. As Moana made her way to the lava spirit, and the ocean gave way to guide her there, Stratos watched in awe as the spirit was revitalized. From what was once a wrathful volcano came out a green giant, their power being every bit as great as the volcano they had just fought. While Moana seemed happy, Stratos hadn't dismissed his keyblade yet, looking to the others and Maui asking,
"we're not going to have fight her too are we?"

Oh she knew it was a mistake the moment she said it. Luna was going to start blubbering about being friends or some crap like that. Why did they always have to blubber on? Who really cared that much anyways? With a sigh and a bit of a huff Karina chose to ignore the girl. She didn't overly feel like getting into the emotional crap that would come along with slip up of words. "Yeah yeah, whatever." She waved the girl off before dealing more with the task at hand. Beuce had suggested that she leave the king with a sort of parting gift in a way. Some power for him to have. Looking at the trident and then the king, Karina wasn't sure she quite knew how to use it properly, but she supposed it wouldn't hurt to make an effort in order to give the king the upper hand that he would need. Pointing the trident at him, she focused her mind on the magic contained within, doing what she would do with her fire magic when she still had the ability to wield it to it's full extent before she passed it on to Dawn. A beam of light shot out, and she shaped it in the only way she knew how, a boost to his strength. It was a mentality that had become near impossibly hard to break. Though she tried when she could it still seemed like the best way to get ahead.

"We will keep Ariel safe and then come back to help if it is still needed. Good luck." Karina called to the king before turning and bringing the trident to the grotto so that they could finish this contract. The deal was to just bring the trident here, Karina had no intent of handing it over. She even braced herself for whatever attack was to come, there was no way that Ursula would let it slip through the cracks like that, but who needed a keyblade to fight, she was sure she could do just fine with this things. It kept the King of the Sea in power this long, and Ursula wanted it, so it had to be a powerful enough weapon. What Karina had not expected however was that Ursula and her minions would ignore her completely and attack Beuce instead, who was floating not far from her not doing anything. "What th-" Her words were cut short as the trident was snatched from her hand at that moment. Damn it, for a moment her mind crossed into the territory of reminding her that friends were a weakness, but she didn't let it. No if it wasn't for these people she would have never made it this far. They were not a weakness, it wasn't a bad thing that she cared.

Ursula then started to keep her deal, bringing Ariel back, but she then caged Ariel, twisting the words of the contract.
"Well with the contract broken, there really isn't anything stopping us from killing you. And don't hide behind that Trident. Turns out the weapon is only as good as those who wield it. If you are good enough you shouldn't need it to win, and if you do, then it is a simple matter of finding the weaknesses and exploiting them. See you aren't the only one with a magic weapon, but we, unlike you, don't rely so heavily on it that we think exploiting a king was the only way to win something. So you can sure as hell try to defeat us, but you are not taking Ariel or Luna back, I promise you that." She glared at Ursula, keeping the thoughts of what happened with Mizrabel from her mind. There was no point dwelling, just moving forward and dealing with the situation at hand, which happened to be two eels and a crazed octopus witch. Summoning her keyblade to her, Karina was almost excited it was time to show off her new power now that she was a keyblade master once again.

Sweeping in, she knocked Flotsam away from Beuce before going straight for Ursula, making an attempt to knock the trident from her hands. If they could manage that then there would be one big open weakness for them to exploit. If not they would just have to watch closely, Karina was sure there would be more that she could exploit eventually.

Following Castur lead on this for the time being raising his hands up as well after releasing his hold on his Keyblade as it began to disappear. seeing how the guard didn't just open fire on Castar immediately after seeing them enforced the carefree smile on Faust's face. This guy even if he did attack them was already differentiating form all of the other goons, not too interesting but unique form his compatriots. "Well, I would also like to point out that we didn't start this tussle either if that helps." Faust said weakly scratching that back of his head with his left hand trying to appeal to the guard he continued "I mean clearly even you can see the devastation that would occur these nice natives here if their heart wazzit was stolen."

The lava monster known as Ta ka was cooled from his attack. As he watched as the events unfold he noticed that Ta ka was no more and in its place was a giant green giant goddess. Moana called her Te fiti. He felt exhausted but he had to continued to go forward. He walked up next to Stratos. Stratos then asked, 'we're not going to have fight her too are we?' "I do not think so. I believe this is who Moana wanted to return the heart to." That said he was not sure he could handle another battle even if he wanted to. He was not sure what was next but whatever it was he hoped that it involved finding the others. That said he was not to keen on going on another boat.

"The heart of Atlantis?" Laguna asked, lowering his weapon. "That was one of the things I was looking most forward to researching! Rourke showed us all that missing page, but... I didn't think he was gonna commit genocide for it!" He looked to the group with a newfound inspiration to stop his former employer. "Well what the heck are you guys just standing around here for, we gotta stop him! I saw him taking Milo and the princess bck to her father's palace. That missing page said the heart of Atlantis was in the eyes of it's king... I bet you anything the heart has to be in there somewhere!"

The battle was overwhelming, but they did it. Marx was very impressed with the group being able to hold their own while helping at the same time. When he saw Moana walking to Te Ka at first he almost panicked, why would she do that in the first place? He thought about it and it made sense, so he watched as it played out to the end. While smiling on his face as Te Ka quickly turned to Te Fiti, Marx knew there was more than meets the eye with both the girl and the demon monster. Upon hearing the others, the masked boy spoke out with wisdom, “Your quite right AJ. It would appear that Te Fiti had been Te Ka the entire time, ever since the heart was removed from her.” He then turned to see the large island woman and kneeled down with a bow. “It would be wise of you all to bow, your in the presence of a Goddess, please show her our gratitude.” Bringing attention to the others, he had heard a little bit of the stories of Te Fiti; Goddess of Life in this world.

For starters Kel had been relieved that once the actual fight had ended, all the of the flames were put out meaning that the flames that had been slowly burning him were gone finally. In the next instance, he was awestruck at the change in scenery as well as Te Ka turning into was appaerently the goddess Te Fiti herself. Both unexpected and pleasantly surprising excluding how they were technically trying to kill one another earlier. "Isn't bringing her heart back enough gratitude?" Honestly, that seemed like a bigger deal than just simply bowing. Though if anyone else had chosen to bow, then he would do the same.

Right after the group had finished taking out all of Rourke's goons, Laguna showed up out of nowhere and held them all at gunpoint, not really understanding the situation. Castur and Faust attempted to talk to him, and managed to calm him down enough to get him to even tell them exactly where Rourke was taking Milo and Kida. At least something was easy enough this day.

"Well, since we know where they are, might as well go kick Rourke's butt. Oh, and save the city too, tha's probably important too." Ignis began walking to the throne room and stopped after realizing something. "So, where exactly is the throne room from here?"

Stratos seemed a bit surprised at what Marx had to say on the matter of the goddess, realizing that he was suddenly in the presence of someone quite important to the workings of the world. However, as Kel made his comment about saving her, Stratos simply shrugged to the man, not really sure what the proper conduct around a goddess actually was. It felt awkward to him bowing to someone who they had fought not a minute ago whom had been doing their utmost to kill them, and this being his first time in front of a goddess he wasn't entirely sure what proper protocol was. So, he instead dismissed his keyblade and just sort of stood there awkwardly.

Frowning to herself, Ananta just listened along and didn't bother getting into any stance once Laguna showed back up. Her teammates had informed him they were betrayed by Rourke, so Laguna lowered his weapon. That was good, because she'd hate to have to hurt him. She liked the guy, he was funny and cool. Glancing to Ignis, Ananta tilted her head. "Well, we just retrace our steps. Get out of this place, go back to the city, and get into the center of the city. Or Laguna can lead us." she glanced to the man.

Laguna blinked, scratching his head. "So you guys don't remember? I'll take you there! Don't worry, I never get lost!" he had a bright smile on his face. Turning around, Laguna began to lead the group, taking them back through the greenery. "We're almost there, I think." he muttered, glancing around.

"I've got a bad feeling..." Ananta muttered.

As he stood there a moment and marx said, 'Your quite right AJ. It would appear that Te Fiti had been Te Ka the entire time, ever since the heart was removed from her.' So it appeared that The heart was stolen which inturn turned Te Fiti into Te ka. At this moment he felt like all of this could have been avoided all together if the heart was not taken in the first place. Then marx said, 'It would be wise of you all to bow, your in the presence of a Goddess, please show her our gratitude.' The whole concept of bowing seemed rather silly considering that they were trying to kill each other not moments ago. It just seemed like everything for the most part was not locked into awkwardness. "So what do we do now? As he thought on this something came to mind. "I know what we should be looking for. In fact it seems rather strange that I do not see it. Shouln't the keyhole be appearing or do you think there is something else we have to do here?" he asked everyone.

Castur kept his keyblade in hand to stay ready for any upcoming fights as they group was led by Laguna who appeared have sided with them immediately upon learning Rourke's true plans. "A bad feeling? Well we're definitely going to have to fight Rourke. He doesn't look like the kind of person to just give up on a plan just because he's lost a few men. Still...the guy doesn't have magic. So it shouldn't be a problem. What's the worst that could happen, right?"

While it would have been quick and easy to deal with the eels first, Karina was more worried about the one holding the trident in her hands who wanted to take Luna and Arial. After all it seemed as though the eels were just following her commands, so if they took out the leader then the other two would be no where near as much of a threat, likely would just try and run away. That would certainly be a sight to see, after all the big talk and all that came from Ursula. Karina knew she herself had a habit of being cocky and full of herself, but she had been shown her limits, and she knew how to overcome those limits, now it was time for Ursula to face the same thing. A good beating would do her some good, and if they were able to kill her, well all the better, it would just mean one less threat in the world.

Karina went for a hit on the hand holding the trident, and while she skimmed the hand, Ursula managed to pull away in time to keep herself from dropping the thing. Perhaps going for such a targeted shot off the bat would not be the best idea in the world, for now she should just tire the sea witch out a little before going into specifics. Swinging her keyblade around she then caught Ursula across the stomach, angering the woman. With a smug grin on her face, Karina went for another strike, but was caught by Flotsam in the back. "
Someone, focus on distracting the eels, so I can deal with this mess." She called out behind her to the others. She didn't expect one person to kill both on their own, but if someone could keep them occupied for a little bit, it would leave more of an opening for her to deal with the big threat.

Turning back to Ursula the woman wasn't going to make it easy on Karina. She striked back at her, wielding the trident as a fierce weapon, but it wasn't enough to stop Karina. Blocking the attack with her own keyblade, Karina proceeded to counter the blow and attack back once more, a smile on her face. This is where she shined, battles like this and she was certainly having fun with it. Sure she was starting to be a better person, but it didn't mean she couldn't enjoy the battles, after all, that was what she was good at. The big battle that she had helped her friends with was something, but without her keyblade it was a bit of a sad reminder of the hole that she felt in her heart. Now though, with her keyblade back in hand, she was left to try out the new strength behind her keyblade, revel in all the glory that came with it, and the strength that it had offered her. After all becoming a master was more than just a title and she could feel that truth throughout her body as she swung the keyblade once more, connecting with Ursula again.

Beuce glared at the sea witch from the moment they swam into the cavern she called her lair. "There. Our bargain is done. We brought it back." He spat. He was heavily on guard, knowing full well something was going to go wrong. Witches never played fair. Just as that thought crossed his mind, an electric shock traveled up his back. He staggered forward and looked over to see an eel pry the trident out of Karina's hands. He swore under his breath and summoned Stratos' keyblade. "Sorry, but we can't exactly let you keep that thing. It's a rental, after all." Aux approached and whispered to him, asking who Mizrabel was.

"First, yeah it's kind of a bad time. Second, remember when you threw us all into the realm of darkness while shouting really hammy villain things? She took our keyblades and is the reason we all tried to fistfight you." Beuce rushed forward, Synchronous Gale in hand. The eels barred his path from getting to the witch who was waving her hands over a cauldron and summoning up some kind of magic. Beuce swung it at the two of them, getting a few decent hits in. Despite their flexible and nearly boneless bodies, they were still surprisingly durable. It had to be the work of Ursula's magic. They were at least as strong as a behemoth, though that wasn't much of a benchmark anymore. His regular attacks were certainly doing damage, but that wasn't the main motive behind them. Stratos' keyblade a very particular power to it, and it was one likely even more powerful than his own in a short burst. He just needed to get up the power to be able to pull it off.

The eels however weren't about to just float by and take it. The lashed out with an electrically charged bite, which Beuce managed to parry thanks to his mastery over bladework. They weren't likely to get through his guard in a head on confrontation, so instead one circled around behind him, forcing him to guard from both sides. Realizing this was a disadvantageous position, Beuce created a shield of light around himself and shoulder charged through one of the eels, back toward Karina. "Careful! Get to Ursula and don't let her cast any magic. I don't know what exactly she's doing but it's probably not good for us." The cauldron flared up as the plus sized octapus drew more magic from it, and sent it out into her two henchmen. The electricity around them flared up and arced between the two of them. Turning their attention toward Beuce, one of them opened their mouth and fired out a beam of the stuff toward him. Beuce was a little caught by surprise, but he rolled to the side to avoid it. "Why does everything shoot lasers?" With an annoyed grunt, Beuce brandished Synchronous Gale and rushed forward and continued to bash away at them until he reached the point he needed to be at.

"I will do my best, but unless I can get her to drop the damn trident, I don't think there is too much I can do. It isn't like I have the ability to block magic. But if you keep focusing on those two I will see what I can do about Ursula." Perhaps she could drive her away from the cauldron. After all Karina might not have had the ability to stop Ursula entirely, but she was strong and it was something she could use to her advantage. If the cauldron was indeed feeding her power, then it should be a simple enough task. That being said, Ursula was rather fat and would be heavy to move, on top of that, pushing someone through water was far different than on land, it would take more energy that she wasn't entirely sure passed into her tail when she transformed from human to mermaid. Karina cursed herself for not testing that out more during the calmer points, but they had other things that they were having to deal with at the time.

It was all or nothing she supposed. Putting all her strength into her tail, Karina charged at Ursula, letting her keyblade disappear into the aether as she charged, going shoulder first into Ursula trying to tackle her back. It turned out to be a bad idea however as Ursula laughed barely going back a foot before she took advantage of the opening that Karina left for her, throwing Karina to the side. She might have been strong but as she hit the rock wall of the grotto, her bones groaned in pain. she wasn't good at taking a hit and she knew that, it wasn't advisable to leave herself open like that, at the moment it had seemed like a good idea, but she should have known better. Shaking off the stun and ache of bones, Karina pushed herself back into battle. She wouldn't let pone mistake stop her.

Rushing back into the thick of things, Ursula returned to her spot already and what Karina did didn't seem to make much of a difference. She supposed that it was time to go back to the plan of hitting things until they died. It never steered her wrong before, so there was no reason that she couldn't get away with it now. At least with someone this big and slow, there was plenty of openings for Karina to take advantage of, even if she had to just go after some of the tentacles. Anything would help, and while they weren't the ideal target, Karina knew that if she could damage them, then Ursula may have more problems using them to attack, which would mean that she was a slight bit more safe when being up in the face of Ursula like she was now. That being said, it wasn't the tentacles that were the biggest threat, but the weapon that she wielded and the magic that she was building that Karina didn't know how to stop.

Turning back to the group as they began to follow the guard they were able to turn in their gallant quest to stop Rourke. Resting his hands behind his head as he walked along with the group whistling a light-hearted tune he said "Don't worry guys. I'm sure this will be easy. we will just get to the heart of the matter and stop Rouke and then boom we save the day."

The group continued on their way to the throne room, chatting about what to do. As Faust made his oh-so-terrible joke, Ignis flicked him on the forehead and looked at Castur.

"Haven't you heard of a jinx? Because that's what's going to happen if you keep talking like that. " She put her arms behind her head as she continued. "Everything simple always becomes complicated somehow. "

After hearing Beuce's explanation, Aux thought to himself for a moment and recalled the incident that sent them all spiralling into the relam of darkness. While he wasn't directly responsible for them losing their keyblades, he didn't have much of an excuse for what he dd after that. "That's fair," Aux whispered back before returning to the conversation. Ursula had finished talking and was already on the offensive with her two slithering electric eels. Karina and Beuce had already started the counter offensive with their keyblades, prompting Aux to want to do the same. He was about to summon a keyblade before pausing a brief moment. He still hadn't forgiven himself for everything that happened after the Stormbringer battle. When he used his keyblade, No Heart found him, and when he used darkness, the remnant took over. He knew the dark remnant inside him had fled, but part of him was almost afraid to attempt it again.

He shook his head, trying to focus on the task at hand as he would fight for now, just using his own fists. Karina was pretty on the nose about getting rid of the trident from Ursula's vengeful hands, but the eels were distracting enough, so he would do his best to try and keep them out of the picture. Flotsam and Jetsam slithered around the party, Aux ready to help keep them at bay, so someone could get the trident from Ursula. He took the eel that was shooting lasers at Beuce and gripped it hard by it's tail. He violently swung it against the wall without mercy as he berated it constantly with each violent thrash against the wall. "Try! Shooting! Lasers! Now!" he grunted, spacing his words while the eel was beginning to see stars. Before he could hit him against the wall again, he felt the eel give him a violent electric shock, causing Aux to let go as the eel quickly escaped his grasp. Jetsam swam up via serpentine behind Aux and delivered another powerful shock to Aux on his back. Grunting, Aux turned around and glared at the eel, as he swam up to tower over him. Jetsam opened his mouth to deliver an electrical beam like his similar counterpart did to Beuce before hand. Aux quickly grabbed Jetsam by the snout and looked at his oddly discolored eyes, with a heated expression. "Yeah, no," he said pulling the eel towards him. As Flotsam began swimming back to help his counterpart, Aux threw Jetsam into the other eel, causing the two to collide and hit the wall, dazing them.

He looked back to Ursula and reached for the trident in her hand. He was probably strong enough to grab it away from the middle aged sea witch. As he put both hands on the trident, Ursula, grinned, causing the trident to glow brightly. The intense light was actually heat, causing Aux to burn his as he let go from the searing hot weapon, bubbles floating from his hands from the steaming effect it caused. He quickly swayed his hands rapidly as he tried to cool them in the water surrounding them. Ursula was not making this easy for any of them.

Laguna led the group back to where Sweet the medic, and a couple of the king's men were tending to the king.
Laguna looked around, and was wondering what happened. "Sweet! Where's Rourke?" He stopped for a moment to look at the king who looked like he was slowly dying. "Hey.. is he okay?"
"Rourke took Kida and Milo down to the sublevel. He did a real number on the king here to get the information. I know I wanted the payment, but... not like this..."
"How's he doing?" Laguna asked, kneeling to check on him.
"Internal bleeding. There's nothing more I can do."
Laguna shook his head in disbelief. "This is wrong..."
"I'm with you. I talked with Mole, Audrey and Vinny and they agree. Rourke's on a massive power trip. He's been after that crystal since Iceland."
"Where is my daughter?" the king asked faintly.
"Rourke took her to the basement with Milo," sweet replied.
"She has been chosen... like her mother before her. In times of danger... the crystal will choose a host... one of royal blood... to protect itself... and its people. It will accept no other.
"Wait a minute. Choose? So this thing is alive?" Laguna asked.
"In a way. The crystal thrives... on the collective emotions... of all who came before us. In return, it provides power... longevity, protection. As it grew... it developed a consciousness of its own." He coughed as he held his side before looking to the keybladers. "I believe you sentinals call it by a different name; Kingdom Hearts... In my arrogance... I sought to use it as a weapon of war... but it's power proved too great to control. It overwhelmed us... and led to our destruction. That's why I hid it beneath the city... to keep history from repeating itself. And to prevent Kida from suffering the same fate... as my beloved wife. Rourke violence will cause Kida to be used as a vessel. And If she remains bonded to the crystal... she could be lost to it forever." The king was growing more and more faint in his voice.

"The love of my daughter is all I have left. My burden would have become hers... when the time was right... but now... it falls to you," he said to the wielders. "Return the crystal... Save Atlantis... Save my daughter..." Those were the king's last words as he shut his eyes and grew limp.

Steel shrugged in response to Luna. "It's no big deal really." It was at that point that Karina swam over, and he didn't really have a part in the rest of the conversation. It was good to see Karina being a bit more social, and ultimately their meeting with King Triton went pretty well.

Not that it meant anything once the witch had blindsided them. Sure, they had expected it, but that didn't really seem to have helped them any. Dodging the lasers from the two eels, he locked his sights onto the one who had yet to take as much damage from his friends. Summoning his keyblade, he darted around what he could of the electrical shocks, being quite familiar with the element and lunging his arms forward to get a glancing blow at the creature. Of course it managed to do dodge out of the way itself and avoid most of the damage, but even those glancing blows of electrical force had been painful in this environment, and he wasn't going to let it get away that easily. He reached out with his hand and grabbed, his fingers suddenly glowing red hot from the beginnings of a fire based spell.

"I wonder what grilled eel taste like." He mused aloud to the creature as it struggled within his grip. Unfortunately, his sense of triumph could not last; not when the other eel knocked him from behind. How annoying.
