Well, this was quite a commotion, wasn't it? It seemed that several among their number had been caught in rather undesirable situations. X still didn't give much care to it though: As close as he was to the egocentric man, he got a front seat to his latest insult. He repressed the urge to roll his eyes: they could all very well lose their lives, and the process would only be sped along if even a single one of them were to fall. This was not a laughing matter... Though VII's comment about cabbage's was odd enough and sudden enough that he had almost let out a few chuckles himself.

He would have gladly have continued to fight on his own, but...

"Cerdic, please don't talk like that. This is a dangerous situation, and Alder, Marley and Relli are all in the thick of it. We need to get them out, not distract them"

That was right; they could probably use some help. Other than just splitting the heartless numbers and attention that was. So he gave the situation some thought, and it seemed to him... that their self important friend could actually be of a great friend here. Idea formed, he jumped into action.

"Hey X! You like the spotlight, right?" He ran towards the two, readying his weapon. "So if I clear you a path real quick, you won't mind taking the important job? You seem like the type who could handle it." Swiftly he jumped into the wall of heartless before casting a Zero Gravity spell, causing the many heartless to float aimlessly into the air. Slashing away a few, he had successfully created a small opening; the heartless' that he wasn't fighting off were too busy drifting in mid air to cause trouble.

Whether or not X would go for it was another matter: he could only hope that he had managed to say something that would spur the other into action. Given X's brash nature and desire to prove himself, there was high chance he had, and for someone leap fearlessly in to help would be particularly desirable right now. If he hadn't though, it was still possible that the others might join in; so he could really only hope he had read the situation right. Ultimately, it all came down to how the rest of the group chose to respond to the event.

Chrys leaped above a heartless and cut it into two. He realized that whether or not they took the opportunity, it did not change the fact that they had all drastically decreased the heartless count since the fight had begun. It was all a matter of time.

Again, Ria attempted their best at parrying the attacks but failed miserably and their keyblade flew back and disappeared. Ria refused to stand back, being too stubborn, and got up to attack again. However, this time, their keyblade would not summon back, and Ria looked panicked saying, "What? Come back! Damn!"

They looked to the two and clenched their fists and said, "Fine, I guess I don't need a keyblade to take you both down." and they reached their hand out. A pretty major glitch happened with the horde. Allowing Relli a chance at escape. The heartless kept flickering out of existence as Ria whispered a countdown to themselves, "Five..."

There are a total of 93 shadow heartless.
Each shadow heartless takes 5BP to hit.
Each BP is worth 20 words.

Ria's health is currently at 90/200.

You have a total of 20 BP.
Round 7 starts now. Round 8 begins in 2 days or until all players have taken their turns.

    No damage taken.

    Kara: 15/20 HP
    Chrys: 20/20 HP
    Chloe: 10/20 HP
    Chrono: 15/20 HP
    Xen: 10/20 HP
    Daeni: 15/20 HP
    Alder: 14/20 HP
    Relli: 10/20 HP
    Marley: 9/20 HP
    Cerdic: 9/20 HP

The heartless are flickering and will do no damage. Everyone has a chance of getting into the inner circle with Ria before the countdown ends. The rush to the inner circle does not take up a turn, you will still have your turn even after a rush to the inner circle. Better hurry.

COMPANY CHARGE!!! Chrono wasted no time charging towards Ria once the massive gltich happened. There would be nothing to keep them from attacking Ria now. Once on the other side of the glitching swarm, he attacked Ria

    (More coming soon)

The Heartless suddenly flickered and vanished, to Chloe's surprise. And that could mean only one thing.

A wave crashed against the jagged cliff. Hoisting Glimpse of Darkness, Chloe charged through the seafoam mist towards Ria along with the rest of her comrades, ready to strike.

It seemed that VII and IX were making a considerably larger amount of progress than they had realized. Lifting Light Seeker up behind him, Chrys took the opportunity to rush in and attack Ria with the others.

Relli saw the opening, and saw the others rushing for it. They couldn't pass up this chance.

They wrenched themselves to their feet, ignoring the twinge, and ran forward with the others to attack the source directly.

As the countdown finished, the heartless solidified and darkness appeared in Ria's hand as he shot a blast towards the group of Seven now present in the circle with him. And they were knocked back pretty decently, but not enough to knock them into the horde. Ria smirked a bit and said, "That worked out well, huh?"

Meanwhile, the three still in the other horde could find that it was fairly easy to keep away from the heartless swarm around them. The problem was more that since the numbers were lessened, the heartless had less targets to hit. Fortunately, everyone was missed.

A small light appeared in front of Daeni, Xen, and Kara, yearning for someone to take it.

Alder landed with a loud thud as he crashed into the ground on his back, his keyblade slipping out of his grip and vanishing into shards of light as it hit the earth beside him. Being on guard did nothing to protect him from the blast even though he knew something like this would happen. Of course Ria would have access to powerful magic and must have been waiting for them to all converge in an attempt to take out the entire group in one shot. The majority of them were struck and four of them looked to be on the verge of unconsciousness. The Prince included. Seeing Relli hurt like that sparked another surge of anger within Alder causing him to roll to his stomach and push himself back to his feet. "Gah..." He felt the ache down to his bones finding it difficult to force his body to respond to his mind's commands. Everything stung and getting around was not going to be easy but he didn't care. He was going to make Ria pay for this.

Alder looked around him seeing even Marley, the same person who had just fought by his side and further healed his previous injuries had fallen once more. His hand began to tremble while it started to ball into a fist, his keyblade rematerializing back in his grip.
"Have a taste of your own medicine!" Alder aimed the tip of his keyblade ready summon forth a Fire spell. The spell launched from his blade and rushed towards Ria leaving a trail of black smoke in its wake. Alder then turned to look at both Relli and his comrade, Marley, knowing it would be better if they were in fighting condition. Mustering up the strength to lift his keyblade once more in spite of the attrition they were faced with he called upon whatever reserves of magic he had left to heal the two. Don't make this a habit. He thought to himself, glancing at Marley as the Cure spell glowed over the fellow keyblader.

"Wake up, Prince. It's not nap time yet..." He spoke through his heavy breaths hunching over slightly while he gathered strength to rejoin the battle in a more physical manner. Maybe...if Ria was showing this much power they were getting desperate because they knew the tides were turning. If they could just keep the assault up for a little longer they could win this...just a little longer...

Running forward had definitely not been a good idea. In fact, it was probably the worst idea they'd had today, but Relli never really had been one for thinking things through before going for them. Upon making it into the inner circle, Ria's ominous countdown finished, and the darkness became again a solid wave that rose up and headed straight for the group. Bracing themself did nothing, and Relli was knocked back to the ground, just like the others, by the sheer strength of the mass of solid darkness that Ria had thrown at them.

This time, when Relli hit the ground, they didn't know that they'd be getting up again anytime soon. That last attack had hurt, and it certainly hadn't done any favors for their previous injuries. They'd be surprised if their entire back wasn't black and blue from this mess. Relli's vision began going white again, and they closed their eyes. Guess they'd lost after all.

Suddenly, a wave of warmth washed over Relli, pulling them back towards wakefulness just in time to hear Alder speak. "Wake up, Prince. It's not nap time yet..." he called, keyblade in the air. Had... Alder healed them? Relli opened their eyes and blinked in the light of the spell, glancing around to see others getting to their feet. The pain from the last attack began to melt away, and at the very least, the prince thought they might be able to get up and keep going.

Well, if no one else was giving up, then they certainly weren't going to either. Still wobbly, Relli pulled themself to their feet once again and took a moment to asses their situation. Daeni and three others were still stuck in the slowly dwindling hoard of heartless, seemingly unharmed by the blast. On this side, most people were looking a little more worse for wear from the attack, and in fact, three people were still down for the count. Including Cerdic. Ew.

Relli didn't think they'd be doing much fighting in their situation, but they could still help. The prince held their keyblade in the air as well, and cast a healing spell over anyone they thought they could reach. They felt the warmth going over them again, and then also directed it at Alder, Marley, and the unconscious teammate who wasn't Cerdic. Relli looked at that jerk, still lying on the ground, and rolled their eyes. He'd be fine there for now. Probably.

Everything happened so fast, Daeni had no time to react. So she was left to watch several comrades get struck down or get injured badly enough. She herself was lucky to not be harmed, but that didn't make her feel any better. "Dammit, this sucks." she said out loud, glancing to see Alder and Relli busying themselves with healing everyone....but Cerdic.

Okay, Cerdic was a jerk and didn't treat anyone with an ounce of respect but himself. Daeni knew she probably shouldn't have healed him first, but she didn't want to be down another fighter in case something happened. So, she shambled over to Cerdic and knelt down. She used both her hands and held them over Cerdic's chest. "Cure!" she called out, feeling the warmth come forth and flow into Cerdic. She got up and looked at him, watching him to see if he was alright enough. She didn't get much time to watch, since a heartless was annoying her.

It didn't hurt her, it just annoyed her. So she decided to end it's pitiful existence before it had any other chances to annoy her. Besides, she was a little upset with their kind right now considering she wasn't able to protect Relli earlier. That made her feel terrible, since she felt like she could have done so much more. Speaking of that, she turned and looked at Cerdic once more and gave him one last heal. "You're welcome." she said. She got up and blinked.

A strange little light had appeared in front of her. "What?" she said, standing up and reaching forward. She was curious what this light was. Though she pulled her hand back quickly. "It....might be bad though..." she told herself. "....Well, I haven't been knocked out yet." she took a deep breath. "Here goes nothing." Daeni then reached forward and touched the light, curious where it would lead her.

The light glows brighter and everyone remembers a combination attack. Guiding Light

Once activated (by one person), each player must point their keyblades in the direction of the target within the time limit, creating with a maximum of 100 BP combined with one another [if everyone joins the combination attack]. This only counts as the activated player's turn. And it consumes their full BP. There is no word count. Only active coordination.

    Guiding Light coordination rules:
Once activated, players have a total of 3 hours to coordinate.
Each player must point their keyblades towards the target. A light will be glowing from their keyblade once they do.
The 3 hours will be cut short if the round deadline comes before the end of the combination attack.
There are no negative effects for this combination attack, as there is no minimum or maximum amount of players needed to coordinate.
Each player added to the combination attack adds 10BP, not counting against their turn. Activation only adds a start of 10BP despite consuming 20BP.
Guiding Light cannot be activated when the boss is in a charging attack. If activated, it will consume your BP, but no effect will be had.
If exploit was discovered, Guiding Light can do double the damage.

This can only be used once per battle.

If guiding light is activated while cstar is not present go about things as if she is.

As Chrys came over, Kara breathed a sigh of relief. She wouldn't have to deal with Cerdic alone, maybe this other guy could talk some sense into him. Well, he didn't. He did, however, offer Cerdic 'some time in the spotlight', which he would likely take. Maybe that was the key to getting him to do things, only time would tell. It was then that Rhia seemed to be losing the fight rather badly inside, and the heartless began to glitch as Rhia said one simple word. "Five"

She'd seen before that the heartless' materialization seemed to be linked to Rhia's magical ability and concentration, so at the mention of 'five' Kara had started wondering why he had suddenly stopped fighting. Maybe he was trying to figure out how much longer he could last? But that wouldn't explain the glitching, unless he really was on his last legs. They could definitely win this! "Keep going, he's-" she called out, but was cut off by another of Rhia's words.

    "Four"

Why was he still counting? Maybe he was counting seconds? Or....what if he wasn't counting how long he was going to be able to hold out for, but for something else? She frowned a little, trying to piece it all together. She didn't know much about Rhia, but if he were able to summon the creatures of darkness as well as remove their memories then he had to have at least a decent level of magical power...

    "Three"

So if he were still counting, as well as the heartless glitching out a bit...

    "Two"

Then that could only mean that...he was putting too much effort into something else, and not concentrating enough to manage the heartless effectively....oh god...

    "One"

"Get out of there, it's a trap!" she yelled.

    "Zero"

At Rhia stated the word zero, the heartless stopped glitching and became entirely solid once more. At the same time, their attacker released the attack that he had been charging up as a blast of dark energy came from Rhia's hand and engulfed the people on the inner circle with the radius of the blast.

As the blast ended, Kara looked frantically for her allies, and saw that while some were down, some were also still standing up. She needed a way to help from where she was, but even with the heartless having their numbers thinned she still didn't think she'd be able to break through. What to do? What to do?

She saw it then. A small amount of light, but even a small spark of light could help defeat the darkness, she was sure of it. Her confidence only improved as Daeni touched the light, bringing back a flood of memories within Kara of when she, too, had used the light to fight against the darkness. She wanted to know where they came from, think about it a little more, but there was time for that later. As she ran towards the small amount of light that was there, she cast another thunder spell and took down four of the heartless in her way, before arriving at the light and preparing to utilise what she had just remembered.

There was a shout from the other side of the heartless... cabbage, that was a new one. At least it was better than being a dog. He actually liked cabbage, it was what made him so handsome after all. Cabbage was good for you, why would that be an insult? And then there was the pretty girl, but she was young. "Don't worry my dear. If the dog is smart then he will work his way through this... Unless you are saying he is too stupid too, which I wouldn't blame you if you were." He threw her comment back at her before turning to notice something odd happening with the Heartless. There was an opening and he could see Ria. No longer would the dog and the he-she get the glory. It was his turn now. Glory to the Militesi Empire!

"Right, now it is my turn to be the hero! Watch out you creepy dude becau- oh.... oh... on no... NOT THE FACEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" A flash of darkness came at them and Cerdic through his hands up to protect his face, but it was not enough. Suddenly a sharp pain went through him and he was knocked back. There was pain, then something hard connecting with his back, then more darkness. What had happened? Was he dead? No it wasn't possible he was far too young and beautiful to die. Something obviously happened though, and he had to get up. It was like swimming through the darkness and he couldn't find the surface. Where was the surface. It had to come soon, somewhere.... Finally there was light.

Cerdic gasped for air as he came to. Standing up he brushed himself off.
"Once more I was able to save myself from death!" He announced like he somehow did the work himself. He wouldn't even consider the fact that someone else saved him, obvious he had done all the work himself, and it was all thanks to him that he got himself up. Great now his coat was all dirty. That was just great. Dry cleaning was expensive and he didn't think that he would have time or money to do it in the near future. Someone was going to be paying for his coat to be cleaned at the end of this. For now however, there was a clear opening. It was time to be a hero.

Summoning his keyblade to his hand, Cerdic got ready to charge.
"You will pay for wrecking my jacket! Literally! After I kick your butt however. I will not let you let you get away with this!" He shouted as he ran forward full speed, keyblade swinging. A sly smile crossed his face as his feet left the ground and he swung down, slashing at Ria before jumping back. "You will pay." He growled at her as he prepared himself for a counter just in case.

Grinning as the barrage of attacks went through successfully, Marley saw that the heartless were starting to glitch out again and were practically no longer even there. Because of this, the rest of the group was able to close the distance and get ready to strike the broken keyblade wielder. However, as things seemed to started to look they were nearing their conclusion for the group, they took a sharp turn southward. As the group was knocked back by a large pulse of darkness, Marley felt their consciousness fade once again, as they slammed against the ground. However, this was short lived (or short dead?) as they felt a cure spell wash over them once again. Shaking their head to get their senses back, Marley looked at Ria with a fury in their eyes. Marley then felt a familiar saying going through their head, something to the like of, 'knock me out once, shame on you. Knock me out twice, and I'll get pound your face into oblivion.' Well, something like that. As they got up, ready to attack the broken keyblade wielder, Marley then felt a flash of memories go through their head, looking somewhat confused before saying, "again?" However, this time, as they focused on the memory, they realized something. It was of them doing some kind of attack. A really awesome one at that. And so, nodding to themselves, Marley looked back to Ria saying, "I'll show you a trick of my own as thanks for that."

With that, Marley pointed their keyblade towards the hooded figure, a light starting to shine from the keyblade as Marley ACTIVATED GUIDING LIGHT. It was only after they started this that they remembered that this wasn't actually something they did by themselves. So, they just kind of hoped everyone else would pitch in as well, otherwise that would be really awkward.
