They were almost there, they could finish him off. It would just take a little more effort. Cerdic glanced back at the others to see if they were ready for the one last stand against the creature. However as he turned back, to his amazement it was already down as a figure took the last blow to kill it. Studying the figure closer, he realized that he recognized it. "Well look who finally decided to show up." Cerdic said with a small chuckle, trying to pretend like he hadn't been worrying over Chrys this entire time. It was Chrono, or rather Aevum that reminded him that they couldn't stand there and catch up. "Right. Mora, get between us, we will get you to safety." Cerdic called to the girl, figuring it was the best way to escort her, the safest way to get her to a safe place. And now with one more person to help, Cerdic certainly hoped they would able to make it to the other side without a problem. He swatted at a few of the closer smaller heartless. Some fled from him, others he killed, but it was enough to make room to walk at least.

Mora stayed between the group protecting her, feeling bad about not being able to at least help out. Then again, the girl was horrified. And when Mora looked back, she saw darkness seem to swirl up and create a human form. Mora took a quick breath and said, "Run faster." and ran into the building. Once everyone was inside, the form took hold and Ria appeared saying, "Aaaand the gangs all here now. Good job on the Darkside."

Ria snapped his fingers and all of the heartless stopped what they were doing and backed away, Ria took a step forward and asked,
"How about you guys come on back out here? The weather's nice, the sun's shining, the birds are singing, and all of my heartless want to consume what is left of your miserable little hearts." Ria's hand went up and he pointed at Cerdic, "Come on, I know you're always looking for a fight. Or how about you?" Ria pointed to a couple before his finger pointed at Daeni, "Or how about you, sweetheart. You look like you're ready to murder. Kindled up energy, and there's something off about you. I can just feel it."

"Don't do it guys. We'd be better off together." Mora spoke up silently and Ria sighed, "Ya know, little Mora. I'm sorry our little deal didn't work out. But maybe we could make a better one-"
"Not a chance." Mora blurted out and Ria rolled his eyes, "Should have put you with your family and done the work myself. You've got some strong darkness inside you that I'm missing out on. Tell me my friends, how does it feel to work with someone so close to the darkness? You guys hated it so much after all, so why are you helping out this girl now when she betrayed you? Sympathy? She doesn't deserve it."

Mora backed away from him and walked further into the house. It was a one-floor house, that much was clear, but it went pretty far back. Far enough where even through the windows one couldn't see someone at the back of the house. Once in the back, Mora got on the floor and seemed to feel around before reaching a piece of wood which loosened up. Mora reached down and tugged up on something and the floor in the center of the room slowly opened up to reveal, well, another hole with a ladder. The whole thing basically acted like a trap door. Mora looked up and whispered low,
"One minute before it autocloses." the put down the plank and slotted it in place and shifted over and climbed down first, "Talk to him or ignore him but we'll be safer down here." and the girl disappeared into the dark below.

Thankfully they were able to make it into the house with very little other problems. Mora was now safe, and they could figure out how to handle things from here. If Mora was right they would be able sit here and plan a bit on the next point of action, really have time to go over what Mora had told them before. Now that Chrys was also here, Cerdic didn't worry about anything that was happening outside. Everyone that had survived and he cared about was there, that was all that mattered anyways. Now the dog or something to figure out a better plan, though Cerdic didn't know if he could trust that anyway. Not after the last plan Alder came up with.

Cerdic was about to calm down a little bit when he heard a voice that put him on edge. Turning around and looking at Ria. Holding his ground in front of the doorway, Cerdic listened to everything that Ria was saying. His hand tightened around the handle of his keyblade. He so badly wanted to run out there and end Ria once and for all. However his eyes scanned the heartless behind them, then he heard Mora speaking. She spoke logically but still Ria's words rung in his mind. Ria went as far as to question them helping Mora. Cerdic ground his teeth as he stared at Mora.
"Perhaps it is because she is a child and unlike you, the light makes us good people, wanting to help those who can't defend themselves." Cerdic stated.

Mora retreated inside the house, good. She would be safe there. Cerdic tried to focus on the problem at hand. He didn't trust that Ria would try and get through. He felt that they were still in great danger no matter what. If he could at least watch their movements then maybe Mora could escape if Ria did try to close in on them. However he did not have to stand his ground long before he heard Mora say something inside and looked back. There seemed to be a passage inside of some sort. That was the point that he decided to peace out and get to safety. He really just wanted a break to breath and think things through.

Once inside the building, Chrono thought that they would be able to get some form of a breather. A fleeting idea that was quickly swept away when Chrono heard the additional voice outside. It belonged to the last person that he wanted to deal with right now. The frustration that still lingered was shown with the clenching of his fist and yet Chrono endured this frustration. Soon enough he would have his payback.

Having made that decision Chrono ignored the rest of what Ria said and put most of his attention towards watching Mora open up a trap door before them. He briefly wondered just how many trapdoors there were here, but that wasn't what was important right now. Whatever it was that was down there and how he could find out something new. Anything that was down there, he would be sure he was the first one to read it. Didn't help that Cerdic was the first one to head down, prompting Chrono to follow shortly behind him.

Daeni sighed in relief upon the death of the Darkside. She returned to her comrade's side and rushed with them to the house. Upon entering the 'bubble' of the house, Daeni looked at Chrys. Relief shone in her eyes as she approached him with a smile. "You're safe." she muttered, her voice barely audible in the current commotion. She was happy that Chrys was safe, after all, since she thought he was dead. She was glad to still have another companion, after all that had happened, they only had about 6 people of their original group left. That was literally half of their original numbers, or so Daeni figured. Things were still fuzzy here and there, but in the end, she was remembering and collecting her thoughts.

That is, until she heard Ria's stupid voice behind her. Groaning, Daeni turned to see the unamusing face of Ria, pointing at each of them. But when he stopped on her, Daeni's eyes opened a little wider. Her breath caught in her throat. She couldn't believe he could tell that about her. Too bad her answer wasn't as dramatic as he had probably hoped. "I only intend to murder you." she said in a spiteful voice, turning and walking away from Ria. She followed Mora to the back of the house, looking down the trap door that Mora uncovered. Shrugging, Daeni descended, not caring for what awaited her below.

Alder shook his head as Ria spoke, at a loss for words. There was no point in giving a response and going out to fight Ria was a suicide mission. There wasn't any other option left but to descend and come up with a better plan. Preferably one that didn't involve becoming a permanent underground resident. "After you." He spoke towards Cerdic, somewhat feeling as if Ria would find a way to break in the instant he attempted to descend and attack again. Maybe it was an unreasonable feeling but he just felt better if he was the last to go down.

"If everyone with darkness turned out like Ria then I'd see why we would have hated darkness but I just don't believe that's the case..." With time running short, his thoughts on the subject would have to come at a later time. Whenever the last person made their descent, Alder followed right after.

Overall, his reappearance seemed to be well received. He supposed for them it was enough that he just wasn't dead. He could relate to an extent; he was glad they were all still alive too.

Of course, Ria just had to walk in and kill the mood.

"You already know how I feel about all this." He said as the rest of L.I.G.H.T. dropped into Mora's getaway route one by one. "Beep, Boop, I'm not a robot. CPU 2's turn, and all that." He emphasized his numeral pin on the last line before jumping down after the others.

He was not afraid of a possible trap this time. While he was a bit upset about last time he had been overly cautious, but that wasn't really why. It was more just that there was a lack of options. It was either stay in the house and do nothing, leave through the front door and die, or take a possible trap with the chance to live. Not much of a choice really. Besides; the chances of Mora trapping them at this point seemed... low.

As the final people were pulled into the house, Ria stared silently and walked as close as he could, trying to figure out where they were cowering. He accidentally hit the force field and let out a pained yell before backing up and holding his face. He moved his hands and his face looked seriously deformed for a minute, like Chrono's face if it was becoming misshapen and less human, then he took a breather to heal himself before he began staring at the house once more.

    ---
The bottom of the ladder was quite a length, but not as insanely long as the one that led to the underground village. Their climb led down to a rather large room, stacked with emergency supplies like food, water, and a large amount of weaponry and healing equipment. As people piled in, Mora reached into the supply area and grabbed a couple of mega-potions and a mega-ether. She used them once everyone was down the ladder and in the room.
The room had four different doors branching out in different directions, but Mora walked over towards one in particular and looked out of it before she turned to the rest of the group and said,
“This is the safeway, and this is one of the sanctuaries. Darkness can’t get in here, they’re designed that way. I’m, not entirely sure why? My grandmother used to tell me it was to keep hordes of heartless out, so I guess it’s always been a problem. Ria can’t get down here, so we’ll be safe if we stay in these tunnels. A problem is there’s no way to teleport out of these though, and I don’t know why that is.”
Mora looked around to find a lantern and said, “I don’t need this, but you guys probably will.”

Once Chrono had gotten to the ground floor, the various amount of supplies that were place down here it was clear that whoever intended to stay down here was prepared to be here for quite some time. A heartless horde sounded reasonable, but to be this prepared. How often did this place have to deal with heartless hordes? Knowing that Ria couldn't get down here was some something that Chrono could enjoy. The longer he was away from him, the easier it would be to calm down first of all and the less he would have to deal with any memories being taken from him. The last portion was more of a hope than definite fact unfortunately. "Have you been down here often?" Taking the lantern that Mora had handed him, he figured that if she didn't need it it would would be because that she already knew her way down here.

Daeni took the Potion and Ether gratefully, finally relaxing a little bit. She looked upon her comrades and frowned. Once Mora handed the lantern to Chrono, Daeni took a step over to him. "If she didn't, she wouldn't know about this." she said, her voice very hushed. It wasn't that she didn't appreciate this place, she just wasn't so sure right now about leaving. "Can we...rest a minute?" she asked, glancing at the food. Her stomach finally growled in the silence and she put a hand over it, frowning at herself.

Alder rolled his shoulders, feeling back to full strength when Mora used the healing items on the group, and looked down at a container filled with potions to appreciate how prepared the people who lived here must have been to have all of this ready. It was a shame that the world was in such a state that it was now due to their actions. "Keeping out Heartless is one thing. Keeping out something that can think and plan its actions is another." He walked over towards one of the corners of the sanctuary and noticed that some of the supplies were covered in a thick layer of dust. Alder raised an eyebrow and watched as a lone spider crawled across a strand of web and onto a large box that looked to contain...he couldn't tell. The dust was too thick to tell what was marked underneath.

The potions and food on the other hand seemed to be relatively clean and fresh. Someone had to have been restocking the perishables but other than that it looked like this place hadn't been used in years.
"I can see passageways out of here. Where do they lead?"

“No, not often… but, all the kids like to sneak down here because… well our parents aren’t fond of us using this as a playground… uh.” Mora looked over at Daeni and nodded, “Sure, you can sit down if you need to…” she pointed across to a chair and watched Kara unenthusiastically flop herself into one of the said chairs. Mora heard Alder ask the question about the tunnels and she stretched a bit and walked towards one and said, “This is east, this heads towards the eastern chain of mountains, where we do all the mining.” She walked over towards another one and placed her hand on it, “This is south, this heads towards… well, uh, it heads towards a dead end now, but it’s another several bunkers. I don’t know where it led, but it’s so caved in that they are worried about what’s uncovering behind there.”

Mora slid behind the chairs gently to not bother those sitting and walked towards the next one,
“This one leads to the western mountains and is the way we’re told to run if the village ever has something seriously wrong happen. It’s very long, I’ve never made it down to the end… aaaand.” Mora skipped slightly to the last door and placed her hand on it, “This one leads to the coast, it’s low enough where we’ll actually be just around beach level. It’s an open spot and leads close to the graveyard. I was thinking we would head this way. Since the height of the cliffs should give us a good chance to get a head start where we need… and…” Mora looked over at Kara and Daeni and then looked at the rest, “I… know they aren’t the best… and… if you all need to escape to get out of here… that’s going to be the best way to leave… I mean.” Mora looked at the group and said, “You guys have keyblade gliders still… right?”

At what was possibly a push from mention of the subject, you all remember that you do in fact have keyblade gliders. Convenient? Eh.

Down in the tunnels Mora started to explain what they were and how the darkness couldn't get into them. That was a certainly interesting little bit of knowledge that he could see in action as Ria hasn't been able to follow him, but he still wondered how it worked. What exactly was it preventing Ria from getting down here? How did this thing stop the darkness. He supposed that it wasn't worth the questions though and he should just be grateful that it existed. Mora also mentioned how she didn't need the lamp but they might. He looked at her quizzically as he took a seat. "So... you can see in the dark then? That is interesting." He mused taking in the details, studying her eyes in particular rather closely. He wondered how long the people had been living in that underground city for them to have evolved to the point that they could see in the darkness well. He thought that would take a very long time and hadn't expected that to actually happen, but apparently it did.

Mora then started to explain about the different paths that were down there and he glanced at them as they spoke. Two of the passages didn't seem to matter much, but the other two. One seemed like an easy escape, while the other they weren't sure where it lead, but if they were told to go there in case anything happened to the town... well maybe there was something there to help.
"Mora I know you said that you never made it to the end of the western mountains tunnel. But do you know if there is anything on the other side. If you were supposed to head there if there was trouble, maybe something was anticipated and maybe someone prepared for it." Cerdic suggested sounding somewhat hopeful. Maybe they had an easy out, or a place of safety to work with. He could only hope that was the case.

Mora's reason made sense and there wasn't anything else that he felt the need to question on that topic. While she went around explaining the various different directions that the area they were in connected too, his attention was split between that and the fact that Daeni had taken a step closer to him once he'd gotten the lantern. For the longest time she had been focused on Cerdic as such this was a bit odd to him. Had she gotten over him recently?

At the mentioning of the words keyblade glider another memory flashed, this time without any pain. That was a relief for he was getting tired of that pain. So he did have one after all.
"I think we do." Chrono said, unable to vouch for anyone other than himself.

"Yes, I believe I still have mine as well." Chrys' response followed Chrono's, and fell just before Cerdic's suggestion. He raised his hand to his chin in thought.

"I'm not so sure X. It's a good thought to be sure, but how far of a detour from Mora's intended destination will it be? How might the decision affect our goals?" He was quiet for a moment as he looked at the two paths in thought. It will be a tough decision for sure, but it's one we're all going to have make together; carefully. I'm loathe to let the group split up again, what with what happened last time. Though I know I'm not in charge here, I'm fairly certain everyone is of the same mind on that front."

He folded his arms as he leaned against a nearby wall.

"We can only make one choice this time."

Mora looked over at Cerdic and smiled a little, "Yeah, I see in the dark. Everyone does here, it's kind of weird but it's also super convenient. Especially, well, if you don't have a light source." the girl watched the others get comfortable before sighing and saying, "I... don't think there's an exit that way, Cerdic. It's just the furthest point away from the village on this world... it's the best place to run for safety but... it's not the best plan of escape. If anything, I think he'd think we'd go the farthest, personally. Maybe not but... I don't think that's a good idea. This whole safeway is odd honestly, it's looks like it had a different design for the longest time before it... changed. Like, remodeled because it had to be." Mora realized she may have sounded odd and she played with her hands, "My grandmother told me this world used to have a lot of problems, specifically wars... my grandfather said that wasn't true and that this world was once in the realm of darkness but... I think I believe my grandmother might have it more correct since there seems to be evidence of war. I think the tunnels were designed for... well, the group that won."

"They seemed to be designed for people trying to escape." Daeni stated bluntly. "For people to move between cities and places. Maybe even slaves of war." She shrugged and leaned back in the chair she pulled up next to Kara in. She'd rather go to the beach, in all honesty. It sounds a lot nicer to Daeni, that's for sure. But the fact that the memory of keyglider's coming back so conveniently...was odd. While the others discussed things, Daeni closed her eyes and tried to imagine what her keyglider looked like. What it rode like. What she enjoyed about it and what made it hers.

That just made her head hurt and, honestly, Daeni aws done with having headaches, so she stood up and walked over to a shelf and grabbed some bread and cheese. She devoured it in about 3 seconds and started on a second loaf of bread.

"Where there's war there's weapons. Do you know if there could be anything lying around that would help us fight Ria? Or is there something else you have in mind?" Alder asked, turning over a mega-ether he now held in his hand. Had he seen one of these before? He wasn't sure. He almost felt guilty for pocketing it and another mega-potion but these supplies were meant for emergencies and if he could not call this situation an emergency then he didn't know what to think.

Keyblade Gliders though? That was a memory he still had. How long was that there though? It probably just came back into memory and it only frustrated him to wonder how much more of his memories were still gone. Now he imagined how much worse it was for Aev--Chrono.
"Are you expecting us to just head to the beach and escape on the gliders? Not happening. We screwed up your world and we're going to find a way to set things right regardless of what it takes. We just need to stick together and come up with a way to fight back against Ria."

Cerdic listened to Mora's theories about where the tunnels lead. He supposed that made enough sense, just a far place to run. And while getting away from the area was good if there was a quicker way out using their keyblade gliders, then there was no reason to go that way. Cerdic shrugged off his suggestion while the others talked, Daeni theorizing about slaves and Alder talked about possible weapons. "We have weapons and magic we knew how to use, weapons that are not in our comfort zone won't help." Cerdic pointed out. Weapons were only as good as the people who were using them.

Alder also didn't want to escape but stay and fight.
"Stop being so stupid. We aren't going to win this one, not now. This place has gone to hell, lets take the one person who survived somewhere safe and then maybe we can find a place where we have the advantage and fight there." Cerdic suggested looking at the exit that Mora pointed out that they should use. Perhaps he was being a coward again, but he would rather live than go into something with only hopes that he could win. Cerdic didn't have high hopes for them here, they had to do something or get out if they can.

"We don't even know if any of the weapons other than our owns will work on Ria." Chrono said, looking around the area. His attention flicked between the various different points that Mora had mentioned when, taking a better mental note of what lied in each direction than he had before. Escaping did sound like a viable option, but there was still unfinished business to attend to. Getting the rest of his memories. It annoyed him to know end to think that Ria had some form of hold on his memories On top of everything else that has happened to him.
