Take was tossed back in pain at the hit, as he did not have his keyblade to defend him so he took the brunt of the damage. He looked towards where it had gone and he held his hand out to re-summon his keyblade back over to him. He did his best to try and firm his grip up so he could hold onto it despite the weight. He was doing his best to hide his stress, but he was going through a bit of a panic over the fact he couldn't keep a decent grip on the keyblade after nearly a month of training. He was raised on a world where he was a warrior since he was at least ten. He had five years under his belt using a sword and shield, but he was not at all trained in two handed weapons. And there were some people holding it with one hand but there was no way, it was so heavy. At least to him. Or perhaps it was just more cumbersome to him?

Take looked over at Mika when he was addressed and made sure to keep a straight face as he responded,
"Yeah. I'm alright. You alright?" he was not alright but he had no reason to admit otherwise. He took a deep breath, homeworld training came back to him. Under fire, remain calm. Show no fear. Strike in with force but do not over-swing or it opens one up for attack with no defense. He got himself into a stance before he took a quick breath and charged at the next set of enemies.

This time, he had no problems. He handled the keyblade almost as if the last round was just a fluke, he went after two soldiers this time and suffered from very little recoil upon hitting them, after having a bit of a toss up for a while, both of the heartless faded. His back to the group, for no one to see his face, made him appear as though he was composed and had it together. But his face was distressed and sweating just the slightest bit. He took another breath to calm himself down and recomposed before he moved back towards Mika and said,
"I've got your back if anything jumps at you, alright?"

Mika held her breath as more heartless surged forward. While she did a decent job at fighting them off (weather it be luck or the gods of the world protecting her, Mika was grateful), her eyes went wide when she saw Take get thrown away from her. "Hey!" the redhead shouted, destroying larger one of the heartless that had went after the young man, with a few powerful strikes of her blade. Take that! The young woman thought as the monster was defeated. And get away from him!

Mika attempted to move closer to Take to help him out but was visibility impressed when he quickly recovered and took out two more of the larger heartless that she'd just taken down. Although she didn't really believe him when he said he was fine, she couldn't help but smile. It felt familiar-- not Take of course, she didn't really know him from a one of the holes in the ground (no offense to him, of course. And she hoped she'd be able to get to know him better in the future.), but his determination felt familiar. Home-y even.

As Mika heard Take offer his assistance if she needed it, she spotted one of the smaller heartless appear behind him. But before it could attack, the young redhead threw her keyblade at it, destroying the heartless and catching her keyblade as it came back at her, sort of like a boomerang would*.
"How about we have each other's backs?" Mika suggested, smiling kindly at her partner, noticing he was tiring--even if he didn't feel comfortable admitting it.

Riding the wave of his first victory against a Heartless, Glyde moved closer to the battle. While several of the Shadows fanned out and made passes against him, he manged to evade them without harm... for the time being. By instinctual preference, he sought a safer distance, circling the scene awaiting another pass from one of the Heartless.

The Keyblade, however, desired more. By the force of a will that didn't seem quite his own, the weapon lurched froward, carrying his arm along with it. Like a dog leading a blind person, it guided a half-willing Glyde closer to the heart of the action, where the Shadows and Soldiers swarmed closer together. His initial reaction was to resist this motion, attempting in near futility to reign in his own weapon's (or was it his own?) strength. With one forced movement, Glyde swung down, slamming onto one Shadow from the top. Coming into greater control of himself, he made a second, upward motion, hitting a second that had leaped towards him. With a third and final sweep, this time on a downward diagonal slash followed by a thrust, he put down a Soldier.

Feeling slightly exposed in the wake of this bout, he pulled the Keyblade closer to himself for a more defensive stance. Knowing the Keyblade would want to continue the fight up close, he backed away only enough to put himself out of the immediate striking range of the other Heartless in front of him.

*(OOC: Unless I'm mistaken and missed something like new Heartless arriving, 30 should be the correct number after the posts made thus far this round; just adjusting from some mathematical errors that I noticed, if that's OK).

With the number of Heartless reduced, the Keyblade Wielders were capable of catching the movements of the Heartless and avoid most of the attacks coming their way. However, the battle had not been won yet. A Shadow leapt a Glyde and swiped at him. A Soldier Heartless zoomed across the battlefield with a whirling kick striking Mika from the side.

Glyde was hit for 4 Damage (16/20 HP)
Mika was hit for 9 Damage (11/20 HP)

Lightning began strike at the ground below, blasting apart several trees in the park as the winds only continued to grow in strength making it difficult for anyone, even the Heartless to stay upright. Two sparks of light came from the sky like shooting stars before crashing into the ground in the center of the battlefield.

Atmos was hit for 139 Damage (31/170 HP)
Choma was hit for 165 Damage (50/215 HP)

From what one could see, pieces of armor were breaking off of both of them. Choma had caught Atmos mid-descent and had taken the brunt of the impact but as the last pieces of their armor faded away it was apparent that neither were in fighting shape any longer. The vortex above began to widen as more Heartless began to craw out from the now widening fissures in hordes.

    530 Heartless remain. (427 Shadows, 83 Soldiers.)

A massive fist of darkness emerged from the vortex above, the body it belonged to still remaining beyond the portal, and smashed into the ground sending a shock wave outwards further damaging those in the area. Windows shattered, the light coming from streetlamps disappeared as their bulbs broke. Screams from the area could be heard as the Heartless began spread beyond the park.

Atmos was hit for 1 Damage (30/170 HP)
Choma was hit for 1 Damage (49/215 HP)
Illiana was hit for 1 Damage (15/20 HP)
Tinarah was hit for 3 Damage (17/20 HP)
Chrono was hit for 2 Damage (16/20 HP)
Mika was hit for 2 Damage (9/20 HP)
Take was hit for 1 Damage (15/20 HP)
Glyde was hit for 1 Damage (15/20 HP)
Torrin was hit for 1 Damage (21/155 HP)

Choma watched in horror as the numbers turned against them. Even at their best, both he and Atmos had failed to stop the beast from beyond. He had never seen a creature so strong and to continue fighting it with what little strength remained in their bodies would have been a certain death. He looked down at Atmos who was clearly unable to walk in her current condition and fought against the pain in his body to pick her up off the ground. "Relax, we will make it out of this in one piece." But what of the people of this world? Choma's eyes gazed at the massive arm lingering above unable to comprehend how such darkness could manifest into a single entity.

The Keyblade Master diverted his attention towards the townspeople he could see making an attempt to flee in the dark of the night then looked on towards his students who were now fighting a losing battle. "Forgive me. But the fate of worlds is at stake. If we perish now, there may be nothing left stopping the spread of this darkness." Even as he tried to rationalize his choice the guilt weighed heavy on his heart. Over his years he had lost many friends to the darkness as they each had given their all protecting the denizens of light but to allow these children to meet that fate for nothing to sate some sense of self-righteousness or pride would be a tragedy that would be meaningless. But one thing remained certain. He would save these children.

Torrin did his best to keep out of harm's way as he waited to recover enough strength to fight back and aid the others but his focus was broken when, out of the corner of his eye a redheaded girl was struck by a powerful blow from a Soldier. His eyes widened as shock overtook him. "Mika!" He called out to her ignoring the pain to make his way over, using his keyblade as a crutch until the ground shook violently. Both of the Masters had fallen and with them came the fist of an immense dark being. If it wasn't for the fact that he was already using his keyblade to balance himself, he would have fallen to the ground from the force of the shock wave. He looked at the young girl who had helped him earlier and her companion, not wishing to see either of them harmed as the tide of battle turned against them. There was nowhere to flee and, as it was, he wasn't certain if he had the power in him to portal them to safety. "You two!" He shouted towards Chrono and Tinarah. "Don't waste your time fighting! There's too many of them!" He hated the idea of facing yet another loss in a countless string of them but staying alive was what mattered.

Torrin kept moving, morbidly thanking his luck that the Heartless were now focused on other prey. He made his way over towards Mika, regret over another failure now coming to mind. "Come on, girl. I know it hurts but there's no time to stand around and lick your wounds." He spoke with a faint sense of humor in his tone.

A portal of light, created by Master Choma lit the dark and torn up park. The Master shouted at the others for them to come to him and escape.

Take was not particularly fond of the idea of giving up on this fight. He knew he was weak, he completely understood he had no chance, but there were people here. What was going to happen to them if he left them all here? Besides, there seemed to be a beatable amount of heartless. There had to be a way, there just had to. He had watched Mika get flung back over to the rest of the group, and the heartless were getting ready to surround him. But Take was resolved to try and fight. He wasn't exactly ordered to leave, and he could still stand. He had a type of tunnel vision at this point, and instead of beginning to run towards the portal, Take took a few more swings at some of the shadows leaping at him, and getting on the defensive when more came to strike. He was doing his best to calm down but it was not exactly happening.

A series of curses came out of Mika's mouth as she basically got her ass handed her. "Mother fuc-"the young redhead yelled, continuing to curse the gods(Arch)under her breath. She'd landed on her side as she was attacked by the heartless and felt a sharp pain in her side. The young woman winced in pain, closing her eyes to block out (and focus) her senses for a second. It was in that moment she heard angry hisses coming from her bag. ****. Nini was still in the bag that'd been on her back.

Wincing in pain (and against her better judgement), Mika took the bag off her back, letting the tiny black cat rush out. The small cat hissed at her and Mika just glared
. "This is not my fault" the young keyblade bearer snarked at the cat before grabbing onto her side in pain. "This is so not my fault, Nini. I swear".Before either the cat or the girl could do anything else, Mika saw the black fist appear and grabbed Nini off the ground, pulling her close. As the shock wave hit her, Mika blacked out for a few moments.

When she actually came too, she saw a man standing over her. Mika was shocked that this person seemed to know her--she never excepted that she'd find someone who could have known her past. Especially not during a time like this. It was to her complete surprise when Nini stopped nipping at her fingers and jumped out of Mika's arms, circling around the man, seeming almost excited to see him.
"Who--" Mika struggled to get to her feet, swaying back and forth. "Who are you?"

The battle raged on and Tinarah did her best to keep up with it. However as she did she glanced up only to notice Choma and Atmos falling from the sky, the portal like thing still not closed. "Master!" She called out taking a step away from Torrin, but knowing that there was nothing that she could do to help. Fear crossed her face as a hopelessness settled in. Among all these people she had felt somewhat safe, it was okay with her brother there and with the other students. Tears stung her eyes as she stopped, her keyblade now loose at her side, staring at the chaos as more heartless poured out of the rip in the sky and down towards them.

A large fist appeared from the hole and Tinarah was frozen in fear as it came down, impacting the earth. The sudden shock wave caught Tinarah slightly off guard. Unable to keep her balance she fell back on her but, stunned for a moment. However as she looked back at the heartless swarm she forced herself onto her feet, cringing slightly at the bruises she had got from falling. It was nothing bad, but just the fact she had gotten hurt again bothered her. When Tinarah was back on her feet she summoned her keyblade back to her hand, trying to steady it, though she was shaking bad enough that it wasn't working as well as she had hoped. The fear was written all over her face. Torrin had told them to run, and at first Tinarah didn't know where to. She couldn't imagine anywhere being all that safe, and this time she didn't have anyone to save her. Both her brother and Master Choma were hurt, they wouldn't be able to protect her this time.

Seeing a portal appear not too far from her Tinarah knew that was where they needed to go, before Choma even spoke. She glanced to Chrono, then to Torrin who had gone off to help Mika. Tinarah started towards the portal but stopped when she was right in front of it, looking behind it at the people who were in running in the chaos. She didn't want to leave them and looked upset as she looked at all the innocent people. However as another heartless lunged at her, Tinarah knew that she couldn't stay, knew that she was too weak to save these people. All she would get by staying was more pain. She couldn't do that, not again. Instead of sticking around she knew that she would have to run. Tinarah ran through the portal, but barely made it to the other side before she found a spot to sit down, crying soon after, out of both fear and guilt for leaving those people.

The sight of both the masters being knocked out of the sky was not a promising one, nor was the giant hand that had struck from the sky. Despite bracing himself against the shockwave, he still felt the force of it as he was pushed back as a result. In a matter of moments things had gone from bad to worse for them with any chance at victory they had quickly dropping.

"Just don't get yourself killed!" Chrono shouted towards Torrin. He may not have doubted this abilities to be able to handle himself, but an injured man could only do so much in this kind of situation. He was grateful to see that Tinrah had gone ahead to the portal, giving him one less thing to worry about. Chrono was next to head towards the portal. There was a faint pain in his heart over the fact that everyone else on this world was basically condemned to vanish along with it, but there was nothing he could do. No matter how much that he wanted to and this wasn't the first time that he's experienced this feeling. The sound of crying brought Chrono to his sister who was sitting off by herself. "Here, you forgot this." He held out their mom's violin to her. For the most part it was in the same condition that it was when she had first given it too him, there was a few small scratches on the case but it wasn't anything that would damage the violin inside. Chrono waited a bit for her to take it from his possession before speaking once more. "Just how did you get those scars on your wrist and I want the truth."

Illiana stopped in her tracks as she saw the vortex open within the sky. Her eyes widened as she saw the countless heartless pour out of the vortex. Fear and panic, chaos and mayhem, destruction and obliteration being left in the heartless' wake causing the residents of Eventide running in fear. "Artemis, Apollo, adiuva nos in periculis..." Illiana slowly stepped back before hearing Choma and the stranger named Torrin call for retreat. Looking back at the vortex, Illiana had begun to feel conflicted. Would she continue to fight the heartless and try her best to protect the people? Or would she follow orders and retreat to fight another day? Questions and doubts grew and grew with every passing second she contemplated. She looked to her blade for a mere moment. Her lips pressed into a fine line. What would her brother do in this situation? He would've stayed and done his best to protect the people over his own well-being. She looked up and begun to strike once more. She ran toward four shadows and begun to attack them, striking through the center of their being. Watching them disappear like ashes, Illiana continued to look at the vortex.

"Argh." Glyde reeled back in pain as a Shadow scratched and clawed, tearing through cloth and cutting skin before retracting into the ground. Bleeding from the cuts, he crumpled his shirt against the wound. At the same time, he followed the Shadow as it circled around, attempting to make a second pass against him. "Not again," Glyde spat. As the Shadow rose from the earth in preparation for a new attack, Glyde lashed out, striking the creature down before it complete its movement.

"Gotta get away." Getting injured a second time wasn't on Glyde's to-do list. With the battle seeming poised to draw to a close, he made a beeline away from the center of combat.

He would only come to an abrupt halt when shockwave pulsed across the area. From being knocked to the ground by the force of the shock, he rolled over onto his back to behold the emergence of a massive fist from a growing vortex. "God, not again."

Retreat. The call came almost as soon as the fist had begun tearing through into the world. "Don't have to tell me twice," Glyde chided. Clenching more tightly to his wound, he dragged himself to his feet and continued moving, now making his way towards the portal to supposed safety. Across the distance, Heartless continued to swarm into the world from the depths of Darkness. Not going out of his way for anything, Glyde simply defeated what few Heartless emerged along his path; three in total would arise to impede him, and all three would be felled by impatient swipes of the Keyblade.

Once near the shining portal, he leaped, headfirst, through to whatever fate lay beyond.

On the other side of the portal was a massive cavern with a ceiling at least one hundred feet above and the walls hundreds of feet apart. There seemed to be no end to the cavern. Tracks left behind by tires and some kind of large treaded vehicle could be seen on the ground. The cavern was lit by a dim blue glow coming from the rocks in the area. If one looked to the distance they would see ruins of buildings half buried under dirt. A faint scent of salt lingered in the air.

Torrin ignored the girl's question as there was no time to answer and he wouldn't want to make that kind of explanation. "We need to get out out of here. Now." Torrin reached down to scoop up Nini and place the cat back into Mika's bag and out of harm's way. Others had already made it out to the other side of the portal but two students had remained either out of a foolish sense of heroism or...no, that was probably it. He glanced up at the massive shadowy hand overhead cursing over his lack of power to do anything to stop it. Had he been at full power perhaps with the other Masters they could have pushed the darkness back, even if it would have been temporary. But now was not the time for what if's. "That other girl," Torrin pointed towards Illiana. "Drag her to the portal if you have to but get her out of here. This world is lost to the darkness but it can be stopped if we make it out of here in one piece."

He left Mika's side and began to make his way towards Take intent on stopping the boy from continuing in his struggle so that he could live to fight another day. When Torrin caught up to the boy he grabbed Take by the arm. "It's time to stop. We've lost the battle." His voiced raised over the sound of the storm. "If you don't leave now you'll only have succeeded in getting yourself killed. No one will be saved because you destroyed a few more Heartless. Go."

Mika glared at the man who'd ignored her questions--and then picked up her cat. Mika was ready to laugh at the man, expecting Nini to try to claw at him or something. It was to her completely surprise when she actually let him put her in the bag. Hell, Nini actually seemed really damn pleased to see him. "What do you know that I don't, little brat..." the young woman murmured, heaving the bag into her shoulder.

Using the her keyblade as a sort of crutch, stood up on her feet, warbling a tad.
"This conversation isn't over." Mika said sternly to the mysterious man. "But I'll go and get her." As she made her way towards the other girl, standing in front of the portal, she remembered that this was the girl who'd went with Aria--who Mika couldn't remember seeing with the others. Illiana, Mika thought her name was. Taking Illiana's hand, Mika turned to her and said, "We can't stay here. C'mon, I have a question for you anyway." Balancing herself between both Illiana's hand and her keyblade, the young woman walked through the portal.

When Torrin had grabbed Take's shoulder, pulled away slightly and looked at him with a look that almost demanded to know what this guy thought gave him the authority to command him. But then the realization of the situation kicked in and Take started to have his tiredness show a little, and his eyes which were almost dilated because of his focus started to go to normal and he took a moment to breathe before he nodded at Torrin and yelled back over the story, "Alright..." he still had no idea who this man was, but knew he was right, and he knew getting killed wasn't the answer, and he almost felt like a bit of a failure as a result. He turned to head towards the portal at that, running through the disaster towards the portal.

Tinarah had found herself a rock to press her back against while she sat there crying, not really looking up or observing the cave. She didn't care, it didn't matter where she was. She was frightened and she was upset that she had to leave all those people. She wanted to help, she wanted to save them, but it had hurt. It had hurt when the tremors knocked her to the ground, and she knew it would hurt a lot more if it had hit her. Tinarah had never really done well with pain, but she had to at least try to be strong if she could, right now though her small amount of strength was failing her.

There was a shadow that covered her and as Tinarah looked up she noticed her brother bending down by her, handing her her violin.
"Thanks." Tinarah said quietly as she reached up and took the violin holding it close to her chest, still crying, but it quieted more. Just having it with her made Tinarah feel a little better, not more safe, but it was something else to think about. Chrono however didn't offer any more comforting words, instead asking about her scars. Tinarah retracted her hands slightly glancing at the scars that marred them.

"I-I don-" Tinarah tried to tell her brother that she didn't want to talk about it, but she knew that Chrono wouldn't leave it, and didn't like lying to her brother. "When I was looking for you... Well I was in a city and I got lost... I wandered out of the main busy area and found myself wandering allies trying to get back. The men... they cornered me. I tried to use my keyblade, but they just kicked it out of my hand with ease. I-I was terrified and froxe. They grabbed my arms and tied them. They tried to hurt me. I tried to get away but I didn't get far, the rope they bound my hands with, they held the other end and when he yanked it, it got tighter. I thought..... I thought..." Tinarah couldn't finish her sentence as she started to cry more at the memory. "Choma found me.... saved me." She added at the end so he wouldn't worry.

When Tinarah had started speaking, Chrono remained silence as he wasn't sure just what to expect. There wasn't much of a noticeable change in his expression that would give off any hints of his being upset unless she looked towards his hands. What were once open palms and quite relaxed were now clenched fists that grew tighter with each passing second he heard more about what had happened to her.

He couldn't completely fault her for going off on her own for in a sense it was similar to what he had done himself and when he had left, one of the last things that he thought she would do was to leave her room, let alone their home and homeworld. Silence had fallen over the two at the end of Tinarah's story and lasted until it was broken by a sigh. The sigh serving as a way for Chrono to slightly calm his nerves cause well...he was quite pissed off at what he had heard and part of him really wanted to get even with them.

"Remind me to thank Master Choma then." After everything that he was just told, that was one of the few things that he could think to say to say. Plus with it being the one main thing that he wanted to ask her that he hadn't either already done so or has been answer in some way, shape or form.

Illiana looked around the sea of chaos and destruction that the heartless had flowed into the town. There were so many heartless and only one of her. There was no way she was going to emerge from this battle victorious. Pulling her away from her thoughts, she felt a hand grab her's. Illiana turned around and saw a girl take a hold of it. "I've seen you before but what-"...."We can't stay here. C'mon, I have a question for you anyway." The girl started to pull on her hand and drag her into the portal. A look of shock had painted her face but what Illiana was shocked over wasn't over the girl pulling her hand, but that she wasn't struggling against the girl. Deep down, Illiana knew the town was doomed but she still wanted to help. Her body couldn't respond to Illiana as it continued to be dragged along. Walking through the portal, she took in the sights that were around her. "What is this place?" Illiana continued to look around this new area, wondering where she was and why she here.

"Oof." A loud, staccato grunt reverberated through the cavern, accompanied by the 'thud' of a human's weight falling upon the hard ground. Diving through the portal as he did had lead Glyde to the mistake of landing himself squarely upon his stomach, producing a pain that pressed uncomfortably against the wound left by the Shadow moments before. In a quickly, automatic response, he rolled over onto his backside, and off to the side of the entrance through the portal; getting stepped on by a frantic retreat wouldn't have done him too many favors. Presumably safe from at least that much danger, he looked up and around into the surrounding cavern, which, for all he could tell, might have spanned forever.

He wasn't sure how long he spent laying upon the tough sediment; the time felt as endless as the cavern he was in. When, at last, the first of the others passed through the rift in space provided, he, with determined effort, managed to prop his back up against a nearby stalagmite. Still clutching his shirt against the wound, he watched a pair of young women, both recognizable as other students of the Keyblade masters, step into the cave.

"What is this place?" he heard one of them question.

"No place I'd care to stay for long, that's for sure," Glyde responded, scathingly. "Unless I really needed to disappear for a while; seems a bit far off the beaten path, by the looks of it." He nodded his head, towards the distant, feint outlines of dilapidated buildings.

Choma carried Atmos through the portal of light and was soon followed by Torrin as the portal closed behind them. His face was solemn as he looked at each and every one of the students before him. Unfortunately, not everyone had made it through. "The situation is worse than I feared." Choma said gravely. He closed his eyes for a moment and concentrated pulling all of his mental power to reach out to feel if the balance had been disturbed in this world. They had made the mistake in believing Eventide was a stable world and would not do so again. When he opened his eyes the look on face softened only slightly. It seemed, for now at least, this world was safe from falling. "We cannot continue like this. I believe every world is on the verge of being overrun by Heartless. This world may be safe from falling to the Darkness but there may already be signs of...infestation already present. We can buy time by clearing out worlds of Heartless but until we reach the bottom of this that is all we will be doing. Buying time."

Choma placed Atmos on the ground, propping her up against a rock as she began to stir into consciousness. Choma placed his hand on her shoulder as a green light enveloped her. Atmos's eyes opened but when she struggled to rise to her feet Choma kept her down. "No. You must rest. Magic can only do so much." Choma raised his keyblade and uttered the word "Cure" causing a soothing warm green light to bathe the party and heal them of all their wounds. All except for Torrin whose condition seemed to be unchanged.

"Don't worry about me. It'll heal on its own." The young man spoke taking a moment to lean against the same rock Atmos was resting on.

"I see...well thank you for helping us. In times like these, we could use all the friends we can get." Choma glanced over at the students before speaking to him once more. "If you would be willing to lend us a hand again, I would appreciate it. I need to leave for some time and I want someone to stay behind and look after Master Atmos while I'm away."

"What? Me? Uh...sure. I'm too busted up to get around much anyway."

Choma smiled faintly and nodded at Torrin before returning his attention towards the students and speaking up once more. "We will only be fighting a losing battle unless I can enlist more help from the other masters. I haven't heard from them in some time but there must be some others out there. If they learn about what has been happening they will have no choice but to aid us. I am sorry to be leaving you all at a time like this but I saw how you handled yourselves out there. There is great strength within all of you. Search this world for Heartless and take them out." He paused for a moment remembering a lesson that he would need to teach them all before leaving in order to help them on their quest.

"The road ahead is dangerous. But you will not be going alone. Before I leave you all, there are two more lessons I will impart on you all. One of them had been meant to be taught to you by Atmos but..." He trailed off and shook his head. He had already spent too long here. There was work to be done.

Chrono didn't say much after she had explained what happened. Tinarah was starting to convince herself that he was mad at her. Even as he responded that he would have to thank Choma, she still felt like she was in trouble, shrinking down into herself more. Her eyes shifted down to her hands, that were trembling slightly as she held tight to her violin case, waiting for everyone else to arrive. She watched as the other people she met came through one at a time... all but one. From the look on Choma's face, she had a feeling Aria wasn't coming at all.

Listening to Choma talk, Tinarah got more upset. Things sounded grim and she was getting a sinking feeling that she wouldn't be able to help, that she wasn't good enough. The worlds were falling to darkness, and what of people like her father? Was her home world falling too? Was he going to die like those people she had just left? Unsure Tinarah looked to Chrono to see how he reacted to all that was being said. However before she could get a clear read of what he was thinking, Choma went to leave, claiming that he had to recruit more people if they were to have a hope of winning. Fear struck Tinarah`s heart thinking of him leaving. She knew he was strong, she felt safe when Choma was around helping train her and keeping her safe. Even with Chrono she didn't feel completely safe. Putting her violin down beside the rock she was leaning against, Tinarah got up and ran to Choma grabbing one of his hands with both of hers.
"Please don't leave us yet." She begged of him. She didn't really have the words or voice to go on with why. After how shaky she still was from the battle and what she told Chrono, she didn't want to talk more, but she didn't want to lose something else she viewed as safe. She always needed to surround herself with things that made her feel safe, or else she had trouble getting herself to do the simplest things, especially when it came to social interactions.

Master Choma's words were not ones meant to inspire confidence in them despite the current situation that was placed before them, but more of a grim reminder of the situation. The discomfort that had arisen when Takehiko had asked about their homeworlds had returned when Master Choma had mentioned it. There was a reason why he choose to think about that as little as possibly. He didn't want to have to add worrying abut the state of his home world or he well being of his father to the list of things that flew around in his head.

One of the last things that they were told from him was that he would be leaving them to find the other Masters. It wasn't quite encouraging to hear that they would be down a master from here on out, but if they could end up with some more help as a result, then it was at least worth a shot.
"Master Choma." Chrono started, pausing briefly to look towards Tinarah who had run up to stop Master Choma from leaving. "I just wanted to thank for looking after my younger sister." It hadn't even been that much time since he told Tinarah that he would thank him, at the time though he didn't think that the master would be leaving them for some time.
