     I could use food... She thought, stretching and looking out for any restaurants. Walking slowly, she wondered when she would go back. She didn't want to run away from her problems. Not again.

    I know where to go! He shouted in his mind, finally deciding on his destination. Holden stopped himself before even attempting to jump. He knew he would attract Paladins. He had run into them so many times. Like that time I stopped a bank robbery...and got shot in the arm...and looked like an idiot...and tripped. He laughed, continuing to walk down the sidewalk.

    Joe found them on the floor, unconscious. He picked them up and jumped out to the back. Then he dragged them out to the front, where the firemen were waiting.

    Norah saw smoke in the distance. A fire? No, I don't want to be a hero.... She started to turn the other way, but something made her turn back and look at the burning building again. Maybe I should check if there's anybody in there..... She cursed at herself before jumping to the building.

    Kat had been standing around the corner of the building on fire. She, after all, had started it. Knowing them, it's bound to lure some, she thought to herself.

    She began to skip, humming childishly as she did so. Everything was so busy here. She tried remembering why she had jumped to New York in the first place. Her hand absently trailed down her side and rested on her hip as she slowed down to walk. I came here with him... She grimaced and stopped completely.

    "Hm?" Her eyes gazed forward, seeing smoke ahead of her.us " Fire?" She looked around before jumping closer.

    I guess I'm not seeing things. Holden thought to himself as he watched the girl jump ahead of him. He didn't see where she went but decided to follow. Holden went through her jump scar and stepped back silently, trying to stay back. So she wanted to see the fire? Who'd get closer? He stared up at the column of smoke at sighed. "Fire." He mumbled, wondering what caused it.

    BIC: Two jumpers? It's like I entered the twilight zone...then again...It's not that weird. He tapped the girl's shoulder, finally deciding to speak. "Get out before anything bad happens. Paladins can be a pain in the ass." And I've yet to actually beat on in a fight.
