Jumper

Yeah...Forgive me for this is my first RP...it's a little sloppy (and badly written) so just ****ing deal with it, okay(wow! I’m rude today)? Based on Jumper...with some modifications...ugh...I can already imagine all this hard work dying and being deleted by next month...

Story

There have always been those with the power. The power to be everywhere at once. They are called Jumpers. They do what they want when they want.
For many years there has always been an opposing force. The Paladins. They aim to kill all the Jumpers using any means necessary. They believe only God should have the power to be everywhere at once. The two sides have been fighting each other since medieval times. Now the Paladins are beginning an experiment. They captured several people and used them in experiments to have an edge on the Jumpers. The thing is...it backfired. Many mutations have occurred. Some are half human half animal. Others gained the ability to Jump which resulted in immediate termination. Either way...almost all escaped. Some wanting to start a new life, some going off and abusing their powers and abilities, and even some have turned to a life of being a superhero.
Who will win? Will either side ever make it out of this war alive? Or will there be a truce after all these years?

Jumpers

They have the ability to "Jump". With some concentration they can go anywhere they want. It's even possible for another Jumper to go through their "Jumphole" and follow them to wherever they went. They also have the abilities to take other people with them, even cars! The more powerful Jumpers have even been known to take parts of a building with them.

Paladins

The enemy of all Jumpers. They hunt them down mercilessly and with extreme prejudice. They believe only God should have the power to be everywhere at once. The Paladins equip themselves with a heavy arsenal usually including some form of tazer to shock the Jumper and render his or her powers almost useless.

Experiments

They are the results of the Paladins’ research. Some are half human, half animal. Some just have powers with no physical mutation. Normally they were made to help kill the Jumpers, but they retained their free will and escaped to do their own things. Some to become superheroes thinking it was destiny, some went off to fulfill their own greedy desires, and others to live their life in peace.

Rules(quite a lot actually)

1. No godmodding
2. No powerplaying
3. Only Jumpers can “Jump”
4. Keep it Pg-13 you perverts(also don’t be gory)!
5. 3 OC’s max
6. Paladins’ can NOT be jumpers
7. Jumper’s won’t have any parent as a Paladin(I know I watched the movie but it’s too unlikely to happen again)
8. To keep it fair…Paladins are better fighters than the other two.
9. You don’t have to be one of those. You can be a normal human. They have guns.
10. Type “Jumper is awesome” at the end of your post so I know you read this.
11. No carrying a weapon out in the open. Meaning…No swords! The most a Jumper will have is a knife.
12. Paladins don’t carry guns
13. Only other Jumpers can use the “Jumpholes” left behind by other Jumpers. A Paladin can only follow if he/she has a device that enables him/her to follow(the device is a big box thing that’s actually kind of heavy so you wouldn’t carry it everywhere).
14. Jumpers can only go to places if they know where they are going(you can’t go to someone’s house if you don’t know what it looks like inside). Pictures are the effective way of going to places a Jumper hasn’t seen.

History: His parents and older brother were all Jumpers. A rare thing. They all died when a group of Paladins raided his house 14 years ago. He only survived because he already had been using his powers by then and escaped when he had the chance. Ever since then he has been tracking down the Paladins wanting his revenge and not letting anyone get in his way.

Appearance(description or picture): (Too lazy for a pic right now…) Black hair almost at his shoulders with brown eyes. Usually wears a black hoodie with a black shirt underneath with an extended collar in case he wants to pull it over the bottom half of his face. He wears baggy jeans with black shoes.
Personality: Over confident at times, a bit of a jerk to just about everyone he meets, but he always backs up what he says. He usually thinks emotions are for the weak even though he really is nice deep down…deep down.

Personality: Shy before she gets to know a person, but once she begins to know you she will speak her mind.

History: He's a jumper living in secret he only uses his power when he must and tends to walk around like normal people, his friend was killed by Paladins.

Personality: Usually a nice person, he does little things like saving cats from trees and stopping a kid from getting hit by cars, but hasn't abused his power over 2 years.

Also, remember that Paladins are better fighters than everyone else. They have weapons but no powers whatsoever. And they kill Jumpers...Just so you know.

 

No. Jumpers and Paladins hate each other. No alliances at all. One of my rules was also Paladins can't be Jumpers.
I guess...we could start today or tomorrow...meh...

Alaric woke up leaning against a wall. "I really should remember were I go..." He muttered as he jumped into his apartment and glanced over at his TV. "I wonder what's on the news..."

 

After a few moments of changing channels he stopped upon hearing of an armed bank robery. "Been about ten years since I've seen one...Hero time." He said to himself as he put his hood up and slid his shirt up to cover the bottom half of his face. He jumped directly to the bank.
