Filiolus Bellum

Kaori stopped walking and looked around.She heard people screaming.When she turned around,a crowd of people were running towards her.Kaori wanted to run but then again she wouldn't know what she was running from.She turned her head and saw some odd creature.Kaori took a few steps back;it hasn't seen her. "What is that?" she asked herself.Once again Kaori took a few steps back,not wanting the creature to hear her or see her.

 

Terra walked out of one of the restaurant in town. She had just had her first job interview, and was quite proud of herself (she felt almost no shame in "expanding the truth" on her resume). She started to head back in the direction of her so called "apartment" that she had rented.

 

Vincent sat quietly in a park at the center of town. There were a few sidewalks and many trees surrounding him as he sat on a bench, reading a book. A raven gently landed on his shoulder. Noticing this, Vincent directed it onto his finger, then gently pushed his finger upward, letting the bird fly away. Then, he went back to his reading. There was a strange wind today, and some clouds appeared to be forming.
"A storm must be coming..." he muttered, getting up and closing his book.
Once Vincent got out of the park, it was as if he had teleported into an entirely different world. Cars filled the streets, people roamed the sidewalks, and there was noise everywhere.
"I just had to chose the city out of all places to live..." he said, noticing a group of people huddled up at the edge of the sidewalk.
They were awaiting to cross the street. Vincent instead simply began to walk across, not even flinching at the coming cars. Each car would stop only inches away from him. However, the drivers made no comment. It was as if Vincent sent off a certain aura that warned them not to interfere.
"Today should be a decent day..." he whispered underneath his breath.

 

Vincent heard yelling and looked up the sidewalk to see a man and a girl. They were both being attacked by...creatures. While many people were running away from the scene, Vincent began jogging towards it.
Finally! he thought to himself. Something interesting happens! A little weirder than I expected, but it'll do.

 

Kaori quickly turned around to face Holden.She didn't understand what was going on but she nodded and started running off. What are those things? she asked herself. And who was that man? Kaori put her hand on her forehead and shook her head,ignoring her thoughts.The only main thought she had was to run.

 

Ianibi could hear people screaming in the center of the city. He got up to see what was going on.
"Probably a fire, or something stupid like that." he half laughed, and cracked his neck.
As he got closer to the scene he could see strange things attacking people.
"What the hell..." He continued to get closer, curious.

 

Corentine continued into the forest, hearing the whispered of the wind, and the pulse of this... thing pulling her towards it. She absentmindedly stepped into the creek, feeling the cold against her feet. She yelped in surprise jumping out of the creek. She suddenly heard a rustle of leaves, and groaning. It didn't sound human. The pulse started grow louder, trying to over power her, and she suddenly saw a large dark figure in the distance, looking inhuman. Kay(Corentine) gasped for a yell, but stopped herself. She then heard something in her mind; a voice. "Forget the thing! Come and get me!" the voise yelled, sounding manly, and very frustrated. She then nodded, and ran towards the pulse. Trying not to make noise, the pulse was strongest near a rocky part of the creek, near a small drop of a waterfall. She then stepped onto the rocks, hearing it pound to the beat of her heart, and she bent over, towards the small waterfall. She mindlessly put her hand in, ignoring the cold, and felt something solid, cool, but strong. A rock? No, a gem. She grabbed it firmly, and pulled it up, falling over clumsily onto the other rocks. "Now, to fuse." it said, sinking into her skin. Kay's expression turned to painful to surprised, and she yelped in pain, as it sinked inside. Her white, dull from eing wet dress changed to light blue, and her white flats even changed to a solid blue. "W-what?" She said aloud, hearing the figure turn, saying "Huh?" In a dark manor. "Ahh, it's good to be back..." Her mind said, making Corentine jump.

BIC: Terra jumped as she heard a gunshot coming from the next block, followed by screams. Normally, her instincts would have told her to run in the opposite direction, but this time they told her to go towards it. She dodged around people on the sidewalk, and followed the terrified yells. What the hell am I doing? she asked herself. I'm crazy!

 

Leon walked over to the street seeing the civilians running for their lives, he continued forward seeing the demons and instantly thinking, I should be a sheep today, as he turned around and walked away before he got into the demons sight range. He didn't panic as he didn't believe it was anything to do with him.

 

Vincent approached the creatures calmly, then took a couple of steps back. One of them spotted him and tried to tackle him down, but Vincent managed to dodge it be quickly sliding to the right. A few more tried to get him, but he dodged them as well. As much as Vincent wanted to fight, he wasn't sure if the knife in his pocket was sufficient to kill off these things.

 

Inaibi soon found himself face-to-face with one of the creatures. He didn't panic.
"They're scared of this? Creepier looking things are growing in my apartment." He laughed.

Corentine heard the voice and jumped. But what about this Demon, Virtus? Unda said to the other. He then didn't see Kay moving anywhere, and nudged her in in mental status. Well? Get moving! Unda yelled, as Corentine then started going, and ran out of the woods. The Demon then yelled, running after her. Kay yelled, slowing down some. Keep going! Don't worry about him! Unda encouraged as she ran faster now, going into city limits. She heard screams, and were now running into people. Take a right here, and you'll be there in a second... He told her, seeing her run. For a little girl like yourself, you're surly running fast. Damn... You don't like water... He said aloud to himself mostly, reading her memories, and her thoughts.

 

Vincent now had several demons after him. He had somehow appeared at the top of a very high building, many demons pushing him towards the edge. There were simply way too many of them. This had been more than he expected.
"Early in the day, and you are already only a damsel in distress." said an irritated voice.
There was a bright flash, and a black pearl now floated in front of Vincent. He was now only inches away from the edge of the roof.
"Take me into your hand, and you shall do wonders..." the voice said as the pearl shook.
"W-What? You're a p-?"
"NOW!"
Vincent regained his calmness and confidence, then slowly grabbed the marble. A certain energy raced through his veins and made him feel more powerful than ever before. Now, the demons were too close for comfort, and so was the edge.
Jump.
"I'm afraid that's not my style, pearl. Suicide isn't my thing."
The demons were ready to attack.
Jump, fool, JUMP!
Vincent felt his body swing backwards, and he was now falling towards the ground.
Focus, Vincent. Focus on the gravity. Control the gravity!
After a few moments, everything was still. Vincent opened his eyes to see that he was floating a few feet off the ground.
"That's brilliant..." he whispered.

 

Leon walked to a safer distance. He took his bag and looked in it seeing his scalpel that he got from a science kit years ago when he was still in high school, I forgot that was in there.

Leon felt as if he was being watched as he swore he could hear someones breath, "If your planning on mugging me, I think you just failed", he said turning around seeing absolutly no one around, What the...
Not bad for trash, I didn't think you'd pick up on me that quickly, a voice smirked in his head.
"Don't screw with me, i'll bite you to death", he threatened the voice.
Then come find me, i'll be sure to kick your ass.
"Fine", Leon said before walking off, following the trail like presence of the voice.

 

Kaori stopped running to catch her breath.She turned her to look around but what she saw instead was a young man on the floor,injured.Kaori quietly gasped and quickly ran over to him.The man was unconscious.She looked at his arm to see a terrible gash.She put her hand over her mouth and didn't know what to do. Are you ready? said a feminine voice.Kaori quickly raised her head.She put her hand on her head and closed her eyes for a moment. Hey,no time to fall asleep or anything! Kaori opened her eyes and looked around.She then spotted something in a small paper bag.Kaori narrowed her eyes and tilted her head. "What is that?" She was about to reach for it but instead it came rolling out.The small gem stopped in front of Kaori.Kaori picked it and looked at it. Ready? Kaori's eyes widened as she saw that the gem was sinking into her skin.Kaori grabbed her wrist.She looked down at her clothes as it started to change to a light red.She looked back at her hand to see the gem was completely inside her. Now,put your hand over that man's wound. Kaori nodded her head and put her hand over the man's wound.She didn't understand what this would do.She raised both eyebrows as she saw that the man's wound was healing. Kaori pulled her hand away once the man's wound was completely healed. Very good. said Cura.
