Leon stayed where he was, he had no intention of helping them. In fact Leon was only staying for the fact that they seemed to pull on his medical instincts as a sergent.

 

"Well we should all put up a wall of our powers in layers.Me and holden stay on the outside first,then Inaibi,Mark and Leon.We can leave the girls to rest" he bowed."Now how about that?" he asked.

 

"We don't need that many people. Just one or two will do fine." Inaibi quickly found a flaw in Jack's plan, "Besides, they won't come back so soon. And to be honest, your plan sucks!" he was rather blunt. "First probem with it, Holden's a wreck! Putting him on the outside wouldn't help much. Second, you all just finished a second round of battle, you won't have the energey to keep the wall. That, my friend, is why I didn't fight again, and tried to keep other people from wasting strength." He put his hads behind his head and closed his eyes. "Why don't Kaori and I keep the wall up first,seeing as we have the most stored energey, and let you guys recover." He opened one eye ans smiled. "Now how 'bout that!"

 

"You only need one on watch", Leon said walking outside and standing a few feet away from where the others where.
Hmmm maybe now would be a good time for me to say that we should stick with these people. Well you are medically trained.
I doubt they'll need a medic, one of them obviously can heal. Ignis and Leon conversed in his head. Ignis told Leon the other gems powers as basicly as nessisary.

 

Kaori looked down for a moment and thought. I should stay up, Cura. I haven't done anything but run. Kaori looked down at the floor, hearing Cura sigh. I'm not sure, Kaori.

 

Ryo got up Mayby I should be more useful Ryo thought to himself

 

"Well, I know I'm staying up, I'm not tired from throwing a boomerang." Mark said over the argueing.

 

"Inaibi, thanks for the input,next time i'll make sure to ask someone a little more positive like Leon here" he said."If we have to run then we have to run.Kaori,could you please heal up holden for us.Yours and Cura's abilities will really come in handy in this journey" he said as he watched outside.

 

A quick and continuous beeping sound came from Leon. He lifted a part of his shirt up showing his belt and his beeper. He quickly removed the beeper and looked at it before putting it back on his belt and lowering his shirt again, "The dying choose their moments", he said coldly before walking away from the others. Oh don't worry, i'm sure we can track them down again., Ignis complained while being sarcastic.

 

Corentine sat in the corner, stroking the Sapphire as she looked at the others talking amongst themselves. She didn't know if she should do anything, since she wasn't much help during the fight. "Hmm..." She said to herself, suddenly humming a strange tune.

 

"Since we only just met each other, i think we should get to know each other now.We can talk and sleep tonight then we can move tomorrow.Corentine do you want to go for a walk with me?" he asked.

 

Corentine looked at both Holden and Jack, seeing tension. "We don't need any fighting." She said, hearing Unda agree. He was talking outward, where any gem could hear him. "Sometimes Ice never does good with Fire." He said aloud, sounding very wise, as if he was old. Corentine looked down slightly at the Sapphire, as she could hear Unda laugh at her reaction.

 

People can be so civilized when they want to, heh. And here I thought the world was just a waste.

It's not impossible. He laughed to himself.

 

Ryo just continued to lean back against the wall with his eyes closed

 

"Fine, holden i'll just talk with corentine here" and he walks over and sits on the ground and says "well my name is jack,i'm 25 and i have the power over ice which means we shoudl go well together.You being able to control water we can give each other power.I can melt the ice for you and you can give me ice to freeze" he said.

 

Leon made his way to a phone booth on a street not far from the warehouse, put in some money and dialed in a number. After a few short rings a woman picked up the phone, "Julia it's Leon, i'll be busy for sometime can you tell the boss a family emergency happened", he asked the woman without a propper greeting. "S..Sure", the woman said, obviously a nurse at the hospital, she sounded shocked that Leon was even calling.
Didn't expect that, Ignis laughed in Leon's head.
"...Julia, I owe you one", he said as he put the phone down and left the phone booth after collecting his change. He took a moment to breath knowing what he would be in for when he gets back to work.
