Demons, Vampires, Slayers...The End of the World Again!

"It's vampires like you that make me unable to trust anyone anymore," she sniffled, then jumped off the edge of the building. It felt so slow for her, as if she didn't even drop a few feet before turning her head to see him.

 

Spike watched as she leapt off the roof and got further away, she really did bring back unwanted memories of his unforgivable past. He felt sick in the stomach as he thought of it.

 

Dawn jerked her head up, out of her revere. Something was happening, somewhere. She tried to focus, but the drink made her head slow, and feel like it was filled with cotton. "Damn" she muttered, holding her head.

 

She felt the wind catch her as she then crashed into an unstable shopkeep at the bottom. She let out a piercing scream. Not in physical pain but emotionally. She could tell he had a past, just as she did. She stood up, feeling the soreness start to kick in. She ran back to the alleyway from where she submerged from earlier, and hid back in the church. She ran up the aisle of the front doors, where the podium was, and a large painted portrait of the holy spirit. She got on her knee's, as if bowing, but she couldn't contain her feelings much more. She laid on the ground, sobbing in her own pity.

 

Spike put away his stake and walked away from Angel, "I'll be back at the building", he said as he walked into the door leading to the building they where on's staircase letting him access the streets safer.

 

Missy shook her head clear of the water, wiping her eyes. She could see the puddle in the floor, sniffling again as the crying made her feel a little sick. She hadn't cried in years, it felt like, and yet now, that one boy made her feel emotions.

The beat was gone, gone forever she'd thought. nothing felt right to her. She raised her face up, seeing the priest enter from a room. She jumped back alarmed, but then watched him stand in front of her, offering a towel. He must have saw her come in or something...

 

Dawn shook her head, shivering. She needed to get home, and get her cellphone...but which way was home? She walked back out into the street, stumbling in what she hoped was the right direction. Why did I ever come here? she wondered, tripping on a rock. She didn't know a dark figure was following her.

 

OOC: Random question but where is the people playing the Scoobies'? I mean isn't Star_Angel all alone in Texas? XD

"Father please forgive me, for I have sinned," she said, bowing her head. She felt his hand on her shoulder.
"Rise my daighter... for every turn you take, someone will need your guidance," he answered her forgivness, motioning his hand to the window. She looked out and to the side, seeing a young girl, almost appearing lost and such. She frowned and looked at the priest.
"Thank you father," she said, running out the backdoor, closer to the spot.
She ran around the back and behind the girl.
"Maim, are you lost?" she asked Dawn...

 

OOC: Thanks guys!! :D I was beginning to feel a little alone.

IC: Dawn turned. A pretty girl stood behind her, also soaking wet. "I can't remember how to get home" she said, her speech slurred with drink. "I left my cell phone at home, and I need to call my friends...." she drifted off, watching the girl. Something seemed deadly familiar about her...

 

She put her hands around her shoulder's to support her.
"Okay sweetie, we'll get ya home," she smiled.
"Where do you live at?" she questioned.

 

Dawn blinked, feeling stupid..."ummm...." Damn, why didn't I ever memorize the address? "A couple blocks away from the bar on sixth avenue, its a dark blue house....." she trailed off, losing track of her thoughts. Something was really nagging at the back of her mind, but she couldn't figure it out. "Thanks for helping me" Dawn said instead.

 

She could tell that she was thinking of something.
"It's always best to talk about what you're thinking about... it might help jog your memory," she said, walking with her to the bar. She then found the reason why she looked sluggish and her words were slurred, she was drunk.

 

"I....can't remember..." Dawn was feeling so slow, as if she wasn't moving at all. She tripped, righted herself, and kept walking. "Everything is soo bright, it hurts my eyes" she murmured, then looked at the girl "You're very pretty, by the way. I'm Dawn. What's your name?" She tripped again.

 

She couldn't help but flush a smile.
"Why thank you Dawn... I'm Melissa, but i like the name Missy instead," she said, sighing at herself. She kept her hands on her shoulders again.
"We're almost there, just a few more blocks," she smiled. She wasn't totally evil, and she'd thought if she didn't hurt anyone, then she'd be forgiven by the priest and everyone else.

 

Dawn smiled "Missy. Nice ta meet ya" She had never felt so tired in her life. All she wanted to do was lie down and sleep......."Ya ever been drunk, Missy?" her words were barely understandable.

 

"I'm not gonna lie, i have been drunk before," she answered, seeing the blue house not so far away. Probably about another few minutes.
"We're almost there," she smiled.

 

Dawn stumbled along. "" I have never been drunk before. Neeeeevvvvveerrr." she slurred, drawing out the word. "In't that pathetic? course...I AM underage..." she shook her head, trying to clear it. "don't think i wanna be drunk again" she added, feeling as though she was about to drop.
