Demons, Vampires, Slayers...The End of the World Again!

Dawn slowly stood up, bracing herself on the counter. A phone was sitting on the wall. beside it, a bunch of numbers. Maybe one of them was Leon's cell? She slowly picked up the phone, then a series of numbers flashed through her mind. The number she called before. The guy. She dialed the number again, hoping against hope he would answer again.

 

Spike pushed Angel back off him and began straightening his coat again, "Careful your going to crease it if you keep doing that", Spike continued in the same way, "Besides if you dust me whos going to watch your back?", Spike felt his phone vibrating, he had it on silent and forgot to take it off. He refused to answer it at this point.

 

Missy smiled and felt blood rush up to her cheeks.
"Calmness comes from the heart, and soul... Not something you can learn... Sounds to me like, you have a good heart, to still have been his friend..." she said. She kept going through her mind about the night. She couldn't wait... Like the last day of school for a kid, she couldn't wait to burst through the doors and yell... Well tonight, she couldn't wait to dance on the rooftops in the rain, and have someone to dance with/

 

"Probibly...", Leon said trailing into thoughts. Although he was thinking about the person he mentioned he couldn't think passed anything but dancing with Missy. He finally found someone he could be open with. He had never told anyone what he had until today.

"Well thats what happens when you try to do the right thing sometimes", Spike said shruging with layed back and cocky attitude.

 

Damn it, pick up the phone she silently begged. What was his name.....S-something? Damn it, please.... she almost dropped the phone as the world zoomed around her...she would wait a couple more rings....if she could last that long. More colors flashed, swirled. It was like being hypnotized, but the extreme pain wouldn't go away....

 

She couldn't help but keep smiling. She started playing the piano again. The same song... It was too beautiful, but she realized the more she played, the less unique and special it became.
"It's weird... Last night, in my head i wanted to create an army... To turn this world into vampires... And then i talked to the priest, who's taken care of me for like... ever... and he said there's always someone who needs help... helping someone made me feel great," she smiled.

 

"But first", Spike said taking his phone out and throwing it too Angel, "You might want to take that".

"Thats a good thing", Leon said, "I'm glad you decided to take his advice".

 

"I am too," she smiled. She blinked her eyes and she began to like him. She thought it was impossible to like a human. She heard thunder outside, and she looked outside, seeing the sun had finally set, but the moon had a little bit till it came out. She smiled.

 

Dawn heard an answer. "Hello?! Where is Spike?" God was that his name? How did she remember that? "I...." the world tilted. "I told him about a vampire, and something...happening....I think something's wrong." she could hear the naked panic in her voice.

 

Leon smiled. He stood up and walked over to where Missy was and look outside, "Now we wait for the moon", he said still smiling. He began to like her, from what happened today he believed it was inevitable.

 

"The moon shouldn't take too long," she chuckled and stood up, offering her hand out to his.

 

"Angel!? I'm in...Texas..I don't know where...I think something is wrong..I keep seein this guy..and...its hurts...." the phone dropped from her fingers, as she slid senseless to the floor. Everything receded, even the pain. She closed her eyes, hearing voices buzz on the phone. She knew she should answer...but....she was so tired......

 

Leon looked at Missy's hand before taking it, "Thats good", Leon said still smiling..

 

She nodded and barely draged him out the front doors.
"I hope you don't mind, but... I have to scale the city real quick, and take care of a necessity," she chuckled. Her throat burned slightly and she was edging for blood.

 

Dawn came around, the phone still next to her. She reached for it...slowly, the headache was coming back..

 

"Okay", Leon said being only half sure of what she meant, he knew it was to do with feeding but on what and if she was going to scale the city would he wait here? He didn't know he could only guess the answers.
