Demons, Vampires, Slayers...The End of the World Again!

Dawn watched him go, then slowly made her way back to Leon's apartment. She sat down on the kitchen floor, and slowly pulled out her cell phone. Last try she pulled up the number screen. She couldn't read the names, but one seemed slightly familiar. It was in the A section. She pressed call, and held the phone slightly away from her ear. It rang once, twice....

 

Leon got in the lift and in a matter of minutes was at the bottom, he made his way out the entrance and into the day. He walked not wanting to draw attention as he was average and not in a rush. He headed for the church, knowing all the shortcuts he would make it there in no time.

 

Missy shut her eyes then heard someone come in. She opened her eyes seeing the priest.. She heard him ask something and her automatic response felt unclear.
"I'm fine, i just need sleep," she answered, then heard the door open and shut again.

 

"Well, your the thinking one you come up with something to do with the demons", Spike said.

Leon made his way to the church. He entered seeing no one around but it was clear a service had just been, the tray at the front was full but not collected yet so someone must be in. "Hello", Leon shouted hoping to grab the attention of a priest as he walked down the center of the pews.

 

Dawn cut the call short. Maybe she had time for one more, but her battery was so low...She zoomed through the menu. The name started with an S, she thought. Her headache was growing worse. She called the number, praying someone would answer.

 

Missy opened her closed eyes and sat up too quickly, feeling her skin stretch when she stood up. She whimpered. She looked out of the door, seeing the priest at the middle of the room. She looked from the crack of the door seeing Leon. She gasped and closed the door. Why did he follow me?

 

Spike felt something bouncing in his coat pocket. He reached in and answered it, "Hello", he said laid back as he stood while still with Angel.

Leon saw the priest now in the same room as him, "Hey, i'm looking for a girl in black leather clothes. She has a burn on her shoulder", he asked.

 

She could hear the priest answer his question.
"Not just a burn on the shoulder.. all over her back.... In the back room"
She walked back over to her bed, laying back down on it. She laid on her stomach where she had no shirt on. The burns bothered her terribly.

 

"Hello?" the voice sounded familiar, and memories came rushing back to Dawn. "Hello?" she asked. "I need answers. Where are you?" Somehow, who the person was didn't seem to matter.

 

"I'm with Angel in LA", Spike answered back, "What are you doing calling me anyway?"

Leon looked over to the door where Missy's room was, "Is she alright?", he asked, not wanting to disturb her, or more that he felt it was rude to do so.

 

"She only need's rest..."

Missy pulled a tank top of softly and walked out of the room, pained for moving.
"Leon?" she asked.

 

"There's no one here." Even Dawn could here the desperation in her voice. "I'm alone here. Where is everyone? And why did they abandon me?" Her voice shook, and she stopped to control herself.

 

"And I would know?", Spike asked using his attitude, "Are you not with Buffy?".

Leon looked back at the priest as he spoke then back at the door as Missy came from it, "Hey, Dawn told me to come after you", He said, "She was worried".

 

"I'm fine... Nothing to worry about," she answered.

 

"No, I thought she went back to visit you guys." A beeping cut through, her phone was almost dead. "Listen, something is going to happen, something bad. A vampire showed up here today, she's different...." Her headache returned full force. Colors and images flashed before her eyes.

 

"A vampire showed up just randomly?" Spike asked hearing the beeping of her dying phone, "And what do you mean something bad?" he asked aiming to get answers before he was cut off.

"Thats good, although you probibly shouldn't be standing", Leon said walking over to her to talk.

 

"I got drunk...she helped me home, though a normal one wouldn't have hesitated to kill me, and i don't know whats going to happen, i just keep seeing a dark figure, and flashes.." her phone was beeping slower, she only had a few seconds left.

 

She nodded, then pulled her phone out of her pocket to check the time.
"Hopefully a miracle can happen and an eclipse can happen," she chuckled.
"Only moonlight can heal my wounds..." she said.

 

"I'll find Buffy and check this vampire out for you", Spike said hearing her get desperate, "But I can't promise about the drunk thing. Now get your phone sorted I may need to call you back", Spike said.

"So you just need to wait for night time", Leon said thinking about the other thing she said, Is an eclipse coming? I should read the newspaper more.
