Rules

1. No godmodding (no pun intended), power-playing, plot-playing, etc.
2. Follow KHV's general rules of both RPing and site behavior.
3. You are allowed to use characters from actual Greek mythology and rework them anyway you want to make them fit here, as well as making completely original characters.
4. If you make a Demigod, you can choose any of the Olympian Gods listed below. The weapon and powers you gain will be the God's. You can also pick an Emotion, but this isn't required.
5. You don't have to pick a Demigod, you can be a normal person.
6. You can pick one of the Emotions only if you're a Demigod.
7. You can start out with any weapons you want as long as it isn't technological, keep it medieval such as swords, bows, spears, crossbow, etc.
8. You can't pick more than one God, or Emotion for a single person.
9. Each God, and Emotion is first come, first serve.
10. Zeus is unavailable.
11. Hades doesn't have a Demigod counterpart, as he's still alive.
12. Each Demigod gets three powers (listed below). You will start out with the first power, then get the second, and then the third. The details of your powers are completely up to you! Notice: Any one with invisibility simply becomes invisible to the eye.

Olympian Gods

• Hera - Goddess of marriage. Weapon: A crown that allows wearer to summon and control any animal that comes to mind. Powers: Shapeshifting, controlling the Earth, summoning and transforming to mythological creatures and monsters. Jayden - master of keyblades
• Poseidon - God of the seas. Weapon: Trident with the ability to control oceans and storms. Powers: water manipulation, electricity manipulation, the ability to turn into a massive sentient body of water. Orin - Boy Wonder
• Dionysus - Goddess of wine, celebration, and ecstasy. Weapon: A wand made of solid honey that is able to cast illusions. Powers: Hypnosis, Impersonation, Power Mimicry. Aurora - hyuge-of-the-twilight
• Apollo - God of light and prophecy. Weapon: A bow with arrows of light that never misses. Powers: Fire manipulation, Premonitions, life draining. Orpheus - Machina
• Artemis - Goddess of the hunt and the moon and counterpart of Apollo. Weapon: A bow with arrows of darkness that never miss. Powers: ice manipulation, all-seeing eye, shadow manipulation. Euphemia - Rem

Emotions

• Willpower - Simple determination. The person who represents this is more than just determined, he/she is driven. This person can overcome even the greatest of fears and push themselves to accomplish any goal. Poke/Demeter - jackdaniel0
• Fear - The power to instill fear in others. The person who represents this isn't fearless themselves, but they actually enjoy instilling fear into others. Jayden/Hera - master of keyblades
• Hope - The hardest emotion to understand, hope is equivalent to never-ending faith. By itself, hope does nothing, but it is able to quell the negative effects of other emotions. Icarus/Hermes - Boy Wonder

• Rage - Wronged in the past, vengeance is what drives this person in life. Revenge is all there is to this person and it could even be said to control them. Nicoli/Ares - Noteworthy

Icarus/Hermes {Boy Wonder}

Weapon: He already has Hermes' caduceus, a staff entwined with two snakes that can control wind, but he also carries a small sword.
Personality: The epitome of faith, Icarus' hope to restore Greece never dies. In his mind, hope is the key and as long as one hopes, all will be well. He's soft spoken and constantly smiles, even when sad. He doesn't have the personality to be a leader, but is the perfect guide.
Original Life: In the real Greece, Icarus was the son of a master craftsman. Icarus' father built a labyrinth for a king, but the pair was imprisoned there. Icarus' father built two pairs of wings, made of wax, and planned to fly out of the labyrinth with his son. He warned Icarus not to fly too close to the sun or the sea. However, Icarus was so giddy at the ability to fly that he flew as high as he could. The heat from the sun melted the wax keeping his wings together and Icarus fell to his death.
Current Life: Icarus has been an orphan for as long as he could remember. However, from an early age, he was found and adopted by an elderly man named Socrates. Socrates had been a fierce warrior in his earlier days, but was known for his vast wisdom in his older years. Socrates rescued Icarus from being a slave to God-Emperor Gyges. Socrates was a firm opposer of both Gyges and Hades, but the two Gods paid him no mind. Unbeknownst to them, Socrates had all of his memory of his past life and held knowledge of the Gods, the real Gods, as well as Atlantis. Socrates thought everything he knew to Icarus, even about the Demigods. However, Socrates was finally arrested for speaking against the God-Emperor and sentenced to death. Icarus discovered his Demigod powers and snuck into free Socrates, but Socrates refused, telling Icarus that he had always known the youth was the Demigod of Hermes and that it was up to him to gather the other Demigods. Socrates gave Icarus a scroll with the secrets of Atlantis and told him that Atlantis was the key to defeating Gyges. The last thing Socrates told Icarus before being executed was "Defend Atlantis." Icarus has since then left on his journey, obtaining the second power of super-speed and Hermes' caduceus. He is now trying to locate the other Demigods.
Other: He travels with an eagle called "Kalas" that is intelligent enough to follow his commands. He flies without wings.

Orin/Poseidon {Boy Wonder}

Weapon: A series of small daggers.
Personality: Outspoken, serious, low confidence.
Current Life: Like many other people in Gyges' Greece, Orin never knew his parents. He was born a slave, his parents coal miners for God-Emperor Gyges. However, his mother died in child birth and his father died during an escape attempt. Orin was raised in a nursery, meant to take their places when he was older. However, the leader of the nursery had been sneaking children out and shipping them to other cities in Greece. Orin grew up in the streets with several other kids and became somewhat of a hoodlum. The kids formed a gang of thieves and traveled from town to town, stealing to survive. Six months ago, they were trying to traverse a river in a small boat when the boat capsized. His friends died, but Orin found himself able to breathe underwater. Since then, he's found the ability to manipulate water and blames himself for not being able to use his powers to save his friends.

Kaji/Hephaestus {Wingly}

Personality: Kajiis a very compassionate person, who has always been able to understand what other people feel. He's been one to help others in hard times, or at least understand their feelings, so he may help a person.
Current Life: Kaji was always a sort of street urchin to others. He was orphaned as a boy, and raised in an alley with other small children. Eventually, those children became his brothers and sisters, and he had a new family. He works hard for his family, helping them in hard times. His family always told him he was the most compassionate of them all, and was the best choice to be leader if hard times ever fell on them. Little did he know that those hard times would come forth. Eventually some solders found Natsu and his family, and chased them out of their alley where they lived for years. Now Kaji leads his family around the city, looking for a place they might call home.
Other: Kaji is sometimes a little too curious, as he listens in on conversations a bit, and tries to see if he can help other people.

Orpheus/Apollo {Machina}

Personality: Despite outward appearances of being violent, Orpheus is very much the voice of reason and is slow to anger. He hates violence but believes it to be a necessary evil to bring about change in such desperate times. If there was any possibility for a diplomatic solution, he would find it but there is nothing to be offered to the God-Emperor so that he may leave in peace. Orpheus does whatever he must to protect others, even if it goes against others' beliefs.
Original Life: In mythology, Orpheus was not a typical hero who conquered battles with brute force. However, he had survived quests that had killed many of the most courageous and famous heroes of the time. He was a musician with such unimaginable skill that even the sirens' own sounds were drowned out by the sheer beauty and power of his songs, because of this other heroes had asked for his assistance when dealing with sirens lest they meet an early grave without Orpheus. Orpheus once traveled to the underworld and reached Hades unharmed in pursuit of his dead wife. He persuaded the god to free his wife but failed to get her out of the Underworld for failing to meet the conditions of Hades' agreement.
Current Life: Under the rule of the God-Emperor there is little time for leisure. Orpheus has never touched an instrument in his life other than the blade. He was one of the lucky few to stay out of slavery and has been a part of many failed attempts at rebellion against Gyges. The result was always the same, those he fought with always died but for some reason or another whether it be by wit or by skill, Orpheus has managed to survive and evade capture. Though he hates the concept of war, he feels that it may be the only way to bring down the tyrannic ruler who will never die of old age. As for his family, they could be anywhere but he believes them to be dead as he had been separated from them many years ago.

Euphemia/Artemis {Rem}

Appearance: Euphemia
Weapon: A dagger she keeps strapped on her leg.
Personality: Kind and slow to anger, Euphemia believes violence is not a way to solve anything and carries a deep hatred for the God-Emperor. She’s faithful to the Gods and can usually be found praying just about anywhere. She dislikes the idea of how her mother constantly tells her to not pray in public, but does it anyway, which has gotten her into trouble several times. She has made remarks many times that the Gods will punish the God-Emperor and give Greece back to the people, both simply to her mother and in public. Regardless, Euphemia is not afraid to voice her mind, even if it means risking her own life.
Current Life: At a young age, Euphemia has always been one to worship the Gods. Her parents were part of a temple and she attended it regularly, becoming very religious as she grew up. Once she was old enough, she helped her parents out, and after they became too old to be in charge, she took over, becoming a priestess. And soon enough, she was the one responsible for keeping hope in the people of Greece. Her father died a year before it started and when it broke out, Euphemia tried her best to help those in need and constantly prayed to the Gods. However, the God-Emperor refused to let people be inspired and quickly destroyed the temple, leaving Euphemia and her mother distraught and in anger. Although her mother believed no matter how much they prayed, the Gods would not help them. Euphemia, on the other hand, knew that the Gods were not dead, and refused to give up on them.

Nicoli/Ares {Noteworthy}

Personality: Nicoli is stubborn, rude, and headstrong. He refuses to take orders from anyone, and has a very short temper.
Original Life: Nicoli was originally a joyful child, the youngest of 7 children. His stern but caring father was the one to each him and his brothers how to battle and fight. They would often spar with one another in street alleys using wooden swords for fun. His mother, on the other hand, was a beautiful affectionate woman who insisted that violence was never the answer to any situation. She taught her children how to cook, clean, and be kind to others.
Current Life: A short while after Gyges took power, Nicoli's parents joined a rebellion force to overthrow the God-Emperor's reign. However, one day Gyges kidnapped one of the rebels and tortured him until he revealed the names of the rest of the members. He formed a list, and one by one sent his forces to the households of each individual and had them slaughtered. When the night came they arrived at Nicoli's house, he was out sparring with some neighborhood friends. He arrived home later that night to find the blood of every single one of his family members splattered across the walls. Since that night, he's joined and even led various rebellion attacks and vowed to do whatever in his power to kill the man that took his family away from him. His anger and resentment grows stronger each day.
Other: Growing up Nicoli was always much scrawnier and weaker than other kids his age, and was often ridiculed for this. It wasn't until Gyges took control of Greece that he began to spontaneously grow muscle and strength.

Myrina/Athena {Midnight Star}

Appearance: Myrina is very small in height and can be mistaken at first glance for a child, though that illusion won't last long when you meet her.
Weapon: Daggers/Sword
Personality: Myrina is fierce and determined, she is hard working and ambitious. She is a tom boy and loves to get one up on all the men that tower over her to prove that small does not mean weak. She can be quiet and likes to think things over but isn't afraid to get stuck into a fight. She is slow to anger and does not always show it when she is but she was silently plot to get her own back.
Original Life: The only girl in a house full of boys, she learnt at an early age she learnt how to hold her own in a fight against her brothers and loved to plan out her revenge on them for anything they did to her with nasty tricks. Her parents were reasonably wealthy and held a bit of power in her area. She was taught to worship the gods and became quite faithful to them. Her mother, despite her many rebellions, tried to get her to be a lady and learn about the politics going on. This for the most part, she hated as she wanted to be fighting with her brothers. However she did discover she liked looking at the various battles that were going on and working out stratigies to win.
Current Life: Her parents quickly joined the rebellion as under the new system they lost their power, as did her brothers who were all to eager to fight. She wished to join them but due to her parents wishes was quickly kept away from the main action. She was put to help the effort with their planning section and quickly rose to show she was good at stratigical planning. However, she trains hard to prove that she can be helpful in the heat of the action in a fight. She's lost 2 brothers in the rebellion so far and sees little of her parents now, as they are always off with rebellion stuff.

Jayden/Hera {master of keyblades}

Current Life: As a orphan with no idea who his parents are ir even if their still alive, Jaydenusally just wander around either helpign other people in need or helping himself in any way. This life style soon changed when Gypes came to power, quickly joining in a rebellion against him he work as a scout due to him being used to traveling long distance and exploring new places. During his time in the rebellion, he started to learn how to wield a sword just in case he even needs to use it. So far he's barely had to use it, but he always keeps it with him just in case.

Poke/Demeter {jackdaniel0}

Appearance: Poke's jeans are dark-blue that goes down to the top of his athletic shoes. His shoes have white laces with the back-half black and the front-half white. The same goes for his rims; white.

Personality: Poke is kind and random. He's ready to blurt out with a strange comment in any situation. But he is kind and generous to his friends and anyone, except for bad guys, obviously. What's probably good or bad about Poke is his will. It's unbendable, and when he's stuck to a choice, he's most likely sticking to it.
Current Life: Well, it mostly stunk. He was enslaved with his family so yay, no emotional deaths for him! His dad found a secret exit where they escaped everyday to be self-taught in the ways of fighting. As they did, Poke's dad gave him a locket with some mysterious words: "Don't open it until you meet your special friends. You will know who they are."
After 2 months, Poke and his dad made a plan. His dad snuck out, and Poke distracted the guards. His dad stole the key from the guard, knocked him out, and let all the slaves out. They escaped, but when Poke looked back, his family was gone. And so was his locket! Now he travels in search of his fathers gift and in search of ways to help other people.

Clover/Aphrodite {Twilight_Nobody13}

Personality: loyal and fickle like love is, Clover bends to the will of others easily.
Current Life: Clover lives as a tsoulus in Athens, Greece. Her owner, Estes sells her out to whoever can pay the highest amount and if they comment she was unsatisfying, she isn't fed. As a result, Clover has had many things done to her, involving multiple pericings, haircuts, brandings and bondage. For nine years, Clover has lived with Estes and been a tsoulus. Though Estes is paid handsomely, Clover wears cheap clothing and very little of it.
Other: tsoulus is a Greek term meaning sex slave from the book Acheron.

Aurora/Dionysus {hyuge-of-the-twilight}

Personality: quiet and reserved, loves talking about different types of wine, enjoys being outside and getting dirty
Current life: aurora's family was never one severly damaged by gyges's take over. They were a wealthy agricultural family that had a huge vineyard. Her whole life was spent around wine and she couldn't imagine it any other way. They supplied bottles all over the country and the king was one of their biggest customers. Since the god-emporer rose to power her family's business took a hit without having the king to supply to anymore, but they are still doing all right. So many people have turned to drowning their sorrows with wine that it makes up for it.
Other: within the last couple of years, aurora has noticed that people become filled with greed or drunk on power if they spend too much time with her. She doesn't know what caused them to be this way, but her parents tell her it's just in her head. They tell her the people are just going mad from her beauty and recently her parents have been trying their hardest to find someone for her to marry. Her mother insists that aurora's getting too old to not already be married and having children. Sutors come by weekly asking for her hand. Now all she wants is to leave.

Current Life: As a orphan with no idea who his parents are ir even if their still alive, Jaydenusally just wander around either helpign other people in need or helping himself in any way. This life style soon changed when Gypes came to power, quickly joining in a rebellion against him he work as a scout due to him being used to traveling long distance and exploring new places. During his time in the rebellion, he started to learn how to wield a sword just in case he even needs to use it. So far he's barely had to use it, but he always keeps it with him just in case.

Personality: Poke is kind and random. He's ready to blurt out with a strange comment in any situation. But he is kind and generous to his friends and anyone, except for bad guys, obviously. What's probably good or bad about Poke is his will. It's unbendable, and when he's stuck to a choice, he's most likely sticking to it.

Current Life: Well, it mostly stunk. He was enslaved with his family so yay, no emotional deaths for him! His dad found a secret exit where they escaped everyday to be self-taught in the ways of fighting. As they did, Poke's dad gave him a locket with some mysterious words: "Don't open it until you meet your special friends. You will know who they are."
After 2 months, Poke and his dad made a plan. His dad snuck out, and Poke distracted the guards. His dad stole the key from the guard, knocked him out, and let all the slaves out. They escaped, but when Poke looked back, his family was gone. And so was his locket! Now he travels in search of his fathers gift and in search of ways to help other people.
