Curse of Science

Zoey giggled. "Steal stuff?" She shrugged her shoulders, not sure what to say to that. She shrugged her shoulders. "What ever works around here... I guess."

 

Nox stoped the car halfway into the tunnel and got out, "come on."
There was a metal door that was lit by a red light.

 

Kira followed closely, looking over her shoulder. "Where are we going?" she asked.

 

"It's an emergancy escape tunnel," Nox said opening the metal door, "we can take it and get a good head start."

 

"Okay." Kira stepped inside, smiling at Nox.

 

Nox went inside and closed the metal door locking it. He turned and then held Kira, "are you okay they didn't hurt you did they?"

 

OOC: Poo Xert, it was getting exciting too.... D8

 

OOC: Doesn't mean it still can't be.

BIC: Kira nodded, hugging Nox. "Just a cut on my hand, and some scrapes. What about you?"she looked him over.

 

Nox didn't look hurt at all, "don't worry about me."
Nox let got of Kira, "We've got to move."
He began to run down the tunnel.

 

OOC: Oh suuuure! After glass flies everywhere, you don't get a scratch... ><

 

OC: it was shatter proof XD

BIC: Kira followed, stopping quickly to rip her old tshirt into shreads for her cut. She ran after her, binding the cut on the way.

 

"These tunnels usaly lead to anouther tunnel or a subway," Nox said lowing down to let Kira catch up.

 

Kira nodded, catching up. Her cut stung, but at least she was safe. "Have you been this way before?" she asked.

 

"No but I do watch TV and have access to a computer most of the time," Nox said slowing down to a walk, "we can walk now."

 

Kira walked beside him, looking around the tunnel. It didn't seem any different or unusual from any of the other tunnels.

 

The two walked a long way in silance.
