Curse of Science

Alexa called up a rock from the ground. "Nick, duck!" she screamed, directing it at the Flyboy behind him. Then she tucked in her wings, diving after Abby.

Kira smiled up at him, then kissed his neck. "Is this all a dream?" she asked, feeling suddenly tired again.

 

"It's good enough to be but no," Nox said kissing the top of her head.

 

Abby's wings were still numb from the isolation tank. She felt herself falling. Open your wings! Her mind screamed. Open them! She struggled to snap them open, her face twisted up in pain. It felt like moving iron.

More Flyboys were popping in, giving the three of them one heck of a time. Everyone gets to decide what they do to your character. XD lol.

 

Kira smiled, tracing the veins in one of his hands. "I hope it lasts longer then a dream." she murmured.

Dev had almost reached Abby when another flyboy punched her in the stomach. She gasped, closing her wings and dropping. Grabbing Abby, she coughed, trying to suck air back into her lungs. "Try harder." she told Abby, ducking a kick from a Flyboy.

 

Nox kissed Kira again, "want to head back?"

 

Kira nodded, slowly getting up. She held a hand out to help him up.

OOC: I'm thinking of doing painful things to my character >8D

 

Nox took it and began to get up.

 

Alexa took a deep breath, calling up the rocks on the ground below. She focused on them to make a circle around her, making them spin faster. Several flyboys got hit by the shield, and dropped out of the sky. "Nick!" Alexa called, seeing him fall. "C'mon Abby, you can do it, c'mon!"

Kira pulled Nox up, smiling. She felt a shiver creep up her spine, like someone was watching her. "Nox, you think..."

 

Abby was fast approaching the ground. Suddenly, her wings snapped open, barely catching her. She felt sick to her stomach, her head was in a daze. She was starting to black out again. She felt something ram into her and felt herself slam into the ground and then something pinning her. Even if she tried to struggle in her state, it would be no use. She was helpless.

 

Alexa cursed, diving towards Abby. Something smashed into her, making her drop all the rocks. She coughed, her vision going dark for a second. The flyboy pushed her down toward the ground. It was going to slam her into the ground, she realized. Not today! She kicked it, hard, then raced down to help Abby.

 

"What," Nox asked looking at he quizicly.

 

"I think someone is watching..." she looked around, feeling uneasy.

 

Something suddenly swooped in, hitting Flyboys left to right. Zoey, who had seen the commotion, dived in to help. "Hey! Looks like you needed some back up." Zoey giggled and then twacked another Flyboy.

The Flyboy that held Abby started to drag her away. Abby was too out of it to really do anything.

 

Alexa tackled the Flyboy dragging Abby, hitting it with an oof. It stopped to consider her, and she punched through it. "Abby!"

 

"Oh come on," Nox said not beliveing her, "your just being parinoid."

 

Kira looked around again. "Maybe your right......" then somethign wizzed by her, making her hair blow. "What...did you see that?" she asked Nox.

 

"See what," Nox asked, "come on your scareing yourself."
Nox grabed Kira's hand and began leding her back to the hotel.

 

Kir followed. "But I could have sworn...." she looked over her shoulder. Something shadowy watched them, then disappeared. She tightened her grip on Nox's hand. "Maybe it is just me..."
